Reloading Posted April 27, 2018 Posted April 27, 2018 Not sure what happened. Returned to skyrim after a while so got all my mods setup then started playing the game. In Captured Dreams mcm I turned off the advertisements by courier and set the level for shop expansion to start to 25. Mainly because I wanted to play the game a bit before I got round to playing with Captured Dreams, Cursed Loot, Devious etc.. So now at level 28 I go to buy the logs to build the falkreath house and I notice that the expansion has completely finished with absolutely no interaction from me? So I did the setstage cdexpmain 990 and turned the courier advertisements back on and set the start level to 30. Hope I havent broken anything.

Such as helping develop CD to be compatible with DDi 4.0 or bug testing.

Hope I havent broken anything. the CD Shop expansion starts when you reach the level in the MCM (the player does not take part in the expansion itself), and it takes roughly 1 month of game time from when you level up to the MCM specified level. you may or may not get the "Captured Dreams Flyers" (the ads delivered by courier), but other than that the rest should work as normal.

The quests associated with the expansion have been made independent, they can be activated in the MCM menu on the quests page. There are 2 reasons: 1 - There were a number of complaints about the Embassy quest, mainly from people who were 'too dom' to handle that situation. There were some complaints about other things so basically any quests that you don't have to request (delivery quests) they all have the option to be turned on or off. All are off by default so I don't have to listen to complaints about this quest or that quest because they had to enable it for it to run. There is one quest that can bypass being disabled and that is the Free Trial as the first ad you receive has an offer for it, if you have the ad you can request to try it. You probably need to enable the various quests still. 2 - The Property Slave start required that the Expansion be completed and all of the quests would be bypassed if you were to either choose to start it via MCM menu right after starting or used the option to start it via one of the slavery mods that add it to the Alternate Start options.

Much of it is done but the end of day and the Ariasha and Rayani encounters need redone / expanded. 2 - DD v4.x compatibility. I am only doing enough to make CD run with v4, nothing more. What needs done for that: ---- Either I will add an automatic check or something to the MCM so you can tell it which version is being used ---- adjustment of CD equip and removal functions to switch the keywords used depending on what version of DD is being used so Armbinders and like devices can be detected, equipped and removed properly. ---- adjustment of dialogue keyword detection where armbinders and such are used so they can detect the other like devices in v4 ---- find and adjust any misc scripts that may handle device detection / equip / removal so they can detect the new devices ---- creation of a patch to replace the one custom armbinder I have with one built using v4 so it works properly. The scripts that v3 armbinders used to run them have been removed ---- Currently I do NOT intend to make a full v4 version of CD. To do so properly would require that I rebuild the Inventory part of EVERY CD device (115 approx currently) as well as remake their scripts as some parts of them rely on 'legacy' commands or properties. Just adjusting all of the devices for the addition of the Quest Device keyword was tedious but to have to rebuild every device and fill every property would be beyond tedious. Currently use of hoods / catsuits on the player have been pulled and I don't intend the use of the new items introduced in the last version of v3 either. 3 - Bug Fixes. I have well over a page worth of bugs and minor issues in a text file that need fixing, some are items that have been reported and others are small issues that I found that most people likely don't notice as they don't know it isn't supposed to do what it is doing. 4 - Some added features. I have some custom animations that have been made for me as well as bodyslide files for the maids uniform and some other things that need added. 5 - CGi will need to finish the translation into German (mainly what I have not finished at this point) and set up the new installer. Basically there has been no progress on v4 since November due to a number of things starting with the passing away of my Mother In Law. Other things have kept my stress level too high and kept me from getting into the proper frame of mind to work on the mod (an uncontrolled bi-polar disorder can be a complete motivation killer in an instant). If I had a few good days I could likely complete this but last I was working on it I had maybe a few good hours a week. I hope to get back into things soon.

I'm not going to push it as one of two things will happen, either it will turn out like crap and not work well or I'll get even more frustrated and walk away from it completely. I don't like either of those scenarios so I will keep working to improve my mindset so I can put out something I and everyone else will be happy with. 1

You can get new Protector items via the console, look for protector (not protector plus). I have tried using that option in the CD MCM several times but that is not working.

When all else fails: use the console to identify the ID number of the item that you are trying to get rid of (help protector should give you a list of items, use pageup and pagedown to toggle through the list). When you have that number (e.g., 12345678) again use the console (player.dropitem 12345678 1) to drop the item, thus disabling it. You should then be able to pick that item up or use the console again, as Veladrius indicated) to get more protector items.

Ignore the item with the id ending in 40f0c Note the ID number of the item Use 'player.removeitem <id>' It should disappear off of the character DO NOT REMOVE THE NAMED ITEM OR DD WILL REEQIUP IT Go into your inventory screen and unequip the device, it should be able to be unequipped NOTE! - If using v3 you will notice the 'Chastity Belt' quest did not end. You need to equip another belt and remove it to end it or just get and equip the Protector Belt again. This issue is one I have on my list to fix as it is incorrectly identifying belts (likely not reading the keyword on the belt fast enough to ID it properly). - If using v4 it has no quest BUT v4 stores the devices in a file so I suggest getting a belt, equipping it and use the 'remove all devices' function in DD so it clears the file then equip the belt you want or keep it off. Not clearing this file will cause DD to continue to believe you have a belt on even if you don't have one in your inventory as they changed things so it grabs data from the file instead of looking at the character.

Finally I fixed it. I used the remove option in the DD MCM and it fixed it like you said. This has been a problem I have had for a while and now that I have fixed it I can continue playing CD without problems, thank you!

Per the script on it if your rank with Master falls to 8 or less or you owe money to her it should not remove the belt.

Veladarius Posted April 29, 2018 Author Posted April 29, 2018 There should be a female Orc that blocks you at the stairs which starts the encounter. If you have killed her and he is alive but won't talk then kill him and get the item from his body.

She should have force greeted you on the stairs blocking your way up and once her dialogue was done it should have made both of them hostile to you.

I kind of liked the dark red themed restraints I chose, only to have them permanently swapped for the default gray versions just for making one late delivery. I could understand that happening if the Master decided to impulsively play dress up with me or if I really screwed up big, but not just for a minor delivery infraction. For now I just hit the debug removal button then console command gave back myself the dark red versions back, so I at least know the work around.

As a Relationship Slave the belt shouldn't be changed at all, it should just disable the ability to remove it so it may be related to the issue of being misidentified at some point. I have added it to the list of things to fix. 1

I'm not a programmer at all, Min (who created DDi) helped me initially and once I had a understanding of how it was laid out I used (and still use) CreationKit.com as it has a listing of all of the commands (over 1000 of them). That site is the most useful one but for a lot of things you have to go digging as the menu they have is minimal. The Creation Kit is the other thing to get used to since the Skyrim (original) version has a lot of parts that don't work anymore and are left over from previous versions. The main thing I can't make is textures, models and animations but a number of people have helped me out by making things for me (few minor but needed items in the upcoming version). Zadil (who made the original devices) made the CD sign for me and is one of many who contributed to CD.
Sarfin Posted April 30, 2018 Posted April 30, 2018 New problem but this time i don't know a way to bypass it, i tried everything. I was send to the ViP house for a session as Master. After i returned to Marcus, but all he say now to me is "There you are". I get no options to tell him my task is done, no dialog window open at all. Is this known? What can i do?
