Ah, thank you! Crazy question, does that  interfere with my never ending free offer?

Yes, it will replace the Free Trial items with a belt and collar. You are given a ring that unlocks the belt but the collar stays. The ring can be thrown away though if I remember correctly you can get a new one.

 

One route is to get a Protector belt set (Belt and Bra) that can only be removed via a magic amulet that you have to make and requires the instruction set as part of the ingredients for making the amulet (is consumed in part of the process). Get the belt and throw away the instructions. You can get another copy of the instructions for making the amulet but you have to buy it.

 

Both of these options hinge on your being able to resist replacing the items that remove the belt. There are some reported issues with tie Protector or Protector Plus and the delivery quest where it will remove them (yet another thing on my list of fixes to do).

Ok I see how it's set up. Thanks for the lengthy instructions. 

So all these options require that one stays in the belt voluntarily.  At this point I prefer the free trial because it's the master that's deciding not to grant the release. Although she could, and I can ask, but she thinks I need more time to get adjusted. That's very exciting!

It may be in a quest locked location, they are difficult to disqualify when it chooses the locations (done randomly). Use the quest reset and try it again.

OK, that did work, thanks so much!

 

I had another devious idea for you to think about modding in, if/when you get back to these things. When the "chaste life" quest is active, and the player asks for the opportunity to "relieve some tension", it should run through the same checks as the "free trial" quest. If the player is very submissive, the Master should decline most of the time "No, you don't really need to do that right now". Just an idea.

Getting back into the game after a long absence.  Tried to update CD, but it didn't surface in the MCM, so I tried both the slightly older version (4.05) and the one I last had (3.74) without success.  In each case, I get the following repeating lines in my papyrus log, which essentially boil down to "unable to link type of variable/property" and "unable to bind script" for CDx items:

Libsx or xlibs refers to the DD Expansion script.

 

If you updated an existing game with CD v4 there will be issues as they are not compatible. Same goes with updating DD to v4 from a prior version. Either or both of these require a new game for it to work properly.

I received a letter from Captured Dreams and Master gave me the Thalmor Embassy quest. I did it and after a while I received another letter asking my help. I assumed this would be about the other special quests, but when I went to Master and asked to handle a personal request and she told me she had something for me, my only option for response was  "um, maybe later". Help?

The quests are only available for a short time, currently the timer starts when the courier is dispatched so if you were somewhere they could not reach then by the time you got there it would have expired. I am looking into changing the expiration timer to when it is delivered. It will be available again sometime soon most likely.

Is it normal to only have one available animation (DDZapArmbLesbian01) during the Embassy Quest sex scenes involving Elewen & The two female guards? Maybe I should get more lesbian animations for being bound, or maybe something isn't right.

 

edit: After looking into it, I found I have my animations being filtered by DDi. Do most people use this filter? Is it recommended? It's really limiting the sex positions in scenarios like this.

That is DD's filter limiting animations (in my opinion their filter sucks and has for some time as it is very limited).

 

Also, Elenwen is only scripted to have sex with you and no one else in that quest so another mod is doing that. I suggest turning off anything that can start random sex scenes during my scenes (most mods have the ability to disable them in their MCM menu temporarily) as it may interrupt something and cause issues. This is something I constantly state and if it breaks the quest there may not be anything I can do about it as I have generally put in what I can to recover from these sorts of interruptions.

That can't be. The two female guards even ask Elewen if they can have their turn with me. You must be thinking of a different quest, because it was clearly scripted in. I am also getting those virtual function errors that I saw you discussing awhile ago. Is there still no fix for those? You mentioned it was a bug in Sexlab, but apparently a Sexlab update fixed it? I have the latest released Sexlab version, so...

 

Edit: Oh I misunderstood you. When I said "Elewen & the two female guards" I meant Elewen and the two guards being separate instances. I'm currently at the second sex scene. The first was with Elewen in her room after arriving. Now after waking up in the jail cell, the two female guards asked for permission to have their way with me.

No idea on what is causing these at this point, I have not had one in quite some time. The scripts I use to run the sex scenes in SexLab are virtually identical in every instance in the mod, only minor changes for basic setup of actors and tags are changed.

SexLab does not have access to the DD bound animations (armbinders and any other items that bind the arms/hands) so if you disable it then you should also disable the setting that keeps you bound during sex (one of the options there is to have them removed then replaced afterwards, not sure if it still works though). Personally I disable it long ago when it would keep giving me the Frustrated Idle instead of a sex scene and the only thing I had on was an open back belt, still plenty of positions available. Since I still use v3 there are less issues and I can deal with the occasional odd sex scene using the full library rather than deal with the limitations of DD's filter. From what I understand DD uses a pool of 20-30 animations when bound in any way (though I hear that is increasing). Also, v4 excludes males entirely from using bound animations (also something supposedly being changed in v4.1 of DD).

I have tried this, but the scene just does not start after I am given control. I have also tried resetting idle animations right before the scenes. I am not sure if that helped or not. For now, it seems I can only progress past sex scenes if I load into the game right before the scene, then immediately exit the game post scene for the next scene. Basically one scene per game load.

All the sex scenes already enable player controls so CD has given complete control over to SexLab. There is a script (using one of SexLab's functions) that watches for a notification from SexLab that the scene is done and when it is then CD takes control again. 

 

What versions of SexLab, CD and Skyrim are you using (Original or SSE)?

I am using Sexlab v162, CD v4.15 and Classic Skyrim.

 

After the first 3 or 4 sex scenes during the Embassy quest, the rest of the scenes worked fine without the crash. It seems to be consistently crashing for the scenes up until you are sent to a room filled with female guards.

Looking into the Virtual Function Errors (this is an issue that happens with many programs) and most recommendations I have found is to reinstall the Virtual C++ Redistributable software from Microsoft. Looking at my system I have them for 2005, 2008, 2010, 2012, 2013 and 2015. All are available from Microsoft's site and are free.

 

Edit: There are x86 and x64 versions for just about all of them, make sure you have both versions as some games may use one and some the other.

Hey Vel long time no see :smile: Has been a while since last update so im just wondering if you are still working on this mod and plan to release an new update for it with new content at some point or if its completed and if its completed will you start a new mod project lol ? :tongue:

 

 

Edit: i have an idea.. maybe as an update in a form of quest/event or as a new mod/addon to CD.. a rival mistress/master shop that try to take the player away from the other.. giving the player choises as to who he likes the most and depending on how he ansers the mistress/master that get the negative response will send rubber girls after the player in order to forcefully capture him and then train him/her :tongue:

I was wearing my Protector belt and bra when I started a delivery quest and Master gave me a Captured Dreams belt and removed my Protector belt from my inventory. When I returned from the delivery quest Master did not remove my belt, and I can not remove the Captured Dreams belt in any way that I know of and it is destroying my whole save game because I don't want to go around with it forever. If I go to Master she says that I have nothing on that she can remove and if I don't get this fixed I have to start a new save and all my progress would be lost. Please help me

I am taking a break for a bit, due to my mental issues and dealing with the medications for them and some other things I was near burn out. I felt it was better to take a break and collect myself than let things get the better of me and walk away without thinking things through properly. Things are getting better so I hope to finish v4.16 soon.

There is an option in the CD MCM menu on the player page to remove CD Quest items. You can get new Protector items via the console, look for protector (not protector plus).

glad to hear you are taking some time away from modding. i know from what i have seen just in CD that it can be a very hectic endeavor, for people with out any difficulties. what you have done with your mod even with all you deal with says you are very good at what you do. hang in there and know, you have alot of people who love the work of art you have created.
