I ended up surrendering to the bandit thugs on my first delivery errand for Master .. when they took all my stuff, they did NOT take the delivery because it is a quest item. So, after getting free I was still able to complete the delivery. (although I did get punished for ending up late) Anyway, it seems to me the bandits should have taken the package since that was why they attacked me in the first place. I know this is not a bug, and the problem was created by my selecting the quest-safe option in "Submit", but I was wondering if there is a way you can code the package so they will take it even if I choose the option to save my other quest items? (If this cannot be done easily, I will just give in and not use the quest-safe option.)

Guest Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 Thanks to a dream and another mod, I'm inspired (1) to say that being a property slave changes you physically, or rather, it should. Meaning what, slavetats and hormonal body changes, skin tone because you're working in a mine or what? I'm kinda annoyed with SD+ shaving my character's head, personally. I thought I remember Vel having no interest in integrating slavetats nvm can't find it, not sure Vel's Master has any interest in putting expensive piercings on slaves although Vel went through the effort to create a chastity piercing, so maybe something might happen in that area. Changing body might be dangerous area with regards to creating mod conflicts... Since you brought up SD+, the table with food, wine and skooma seems like the type of thing I was talking about. Not a vanity change, more of an RND-type change. Aching needs, addiction, etc. If (only for example) you mine rocks for three days, the computer AI keeps nagging you to escape or seek some sort of release in the arms (or fists) of another slave. Yeah, I thought that up in ten seconds, I'm sure there are better ways to acclimate slaves to work for you. The star-trek episode about snobs living on a floating rock while the slaves breathed stinky gasses below, comes to mind. Even if a slave gets promoted and lived on the floating rock (the one in my head), they'd be abused for being an upstart, a wannabe. So it could work both ways. Right now there isn't a lot of reason to WANT to work for master, there are better masters and free caves to live in. Now if master, liberal-snob that she is, had an addictive smell or a hypnotic gaze, If she kissed you gently for mining a ton of rocks, if she let you escape her claustrophobic little hovel to train in her (empty/never ever used) dungeon,

I went back and let them defeat me with Auto Submit disabled, and everything worked fine. They tied me up, took the package, and I got the option to go try and get it back. So I just need to play smarter I guess. Thank you.

Eh, let's move this over to the DDx thread, as this is not really realted to Vel's mod. Go there, post your loadorder, and the full file-path you've got the DDx meshes installed to (prefably using spoiler tags so the post isen't a huge wall of text that everyone else has to scroll past), and we'll see if we can figgure out what the SNAFU is.

I'm trying to do quest 02, Thalmor Embassy, and I am stuck at level 50. What happens for me is I get to the gate, one of the guards approaches and immediately goes aggressive, and then my quest freezes right there. I'm locked in place, no advancement in the quest at all. I've even tried to setstage up to 100, what happens then is I'll be inside, with a guard infront of me and I think I can see Elewyn at the far end of the hall, but again the quest is frozen and I'm locked in place, no advancing in the stage at all. If anyone could point me to a fix for this, I would greatly appreciate it.

Just got it to work, actually, if I come all the way up to the side wall before getting close to the gate, then all the stages trigger, at least up to 200. For some reason, once I'm in the solar with Elewyn, my controls seem to get mapped strangly, (like ESC turns into J, etc), and when I get put in the cell the message comes up telling me that its a safe place and all that, but I have no mouse and can't click the OK to clear the message box.

On my second mission I failed to make the delivery and got punished by Master. Since then I've done another 14 missions all successfully and have a success rating of excellent in the ledger but my relationship with Master in the ledger still shows as Average, so looks to be stuck. Not something I'll lose sleep over but thought I'd mention it

Maybe make a quest for that? Or use as one of the ways to become a slave: the door closes, then in some time comes Master and says smth like "Oh, so you so want to be my slave, that you locked youself in this preety cage?" if you are submissive

There are resets for it in the MCM menu or setstage cdxdiaerani 10 will start her dialogue quest and move her. Small bug by the looks of things, don't think it's particularly important though. And, sometime this door opens if I go to the wall and then go to it. Do you need papyrus log? In 20-30 minutes would make few screens of what is happening there. Umm, this time it is just locked on Master level. 1st: the door is closed, nothing on me. 2nd: the door opens 3rd: the door is closed, need to pick the lock to open it 4th: when near the back wall of the cage the door opens.

( I never tried setstage before but shouldt she not spawn before me? if not shes a long way from home..) At this point i cant reset the quest as MCM tells me its " not started" iggy

Ok, but who would that be? Once you have picked up the package there is no opposition between you and the shop since you had to clear a path to the package (or sneak your way to it). Once you leave the dungeon you would have to go out of your way to find someone to defeat and rob you. The bandits in the dungeon have always been weaker than the bandits spawned during the delivery. Also, it has never made any sense that The Master punishes the character for abandoning the quest. If the character was actually robbed it might make sense as The Master could not be sure if the character didn't just sell/give the package away.

I have done a few delivery jobs and finished the first quest in Falkreath, and have had no problems to this point. But before I get too much further into it, I was wondering if the new version you have planned (where it will be possible to become a slave) will require me to start all over again?

Any other crashes from just Sexlab I have only seen a CTD with no error, and since this new playthrough, I've only had 1 CTD and after that it's been incredibly smooth sailing.

I agree, the retrieval mission pays better than the delivery but is very much easier to carry out, particularly if your pc is level 30+ it's pretty much a walkover. I'd just like a couple of levelled+ bandits (same increase as delivery) seeded at the location using the same name (e.g. Bandit, Bandit Thug) but around 125% - 150% (like the delivery bandits) of player level. If these could be put on a chance slider like the delievry quest so you'd never quite know what it is you'll be up against, it would really spice up the retrieval quests

Is it? No one is forcing you to fight these thugs on delivery missions. Most of them you can just avoid. Even if you cant avoid them you can just run away, lost them, return and deliver. Was giving a try that immerslave start: level 3 character on legendary difficulty - i was able to complete every single delivery with early bonus (with a first 1k gold i've earned i bought myself a horse). Retrieval? Bandits kill you in 3-4 hits on such diifficulty. 2 bandits = you die in 2 seconds. Forsworn dual wielders? Sometimes you're dead in 1 hit... I wasn't even trying... that was too much of suicide mission imo.

Just save before the scene with the crash, when it crashes, reload and carry on. It will usually force the Creation Engine to stop sucking long enough to play the animations in the scene.
