I have a fairly big problem. During the quest with Elenwen, when the two guards are doing their business I always get a virtual exception error. I reverted back to before I started the quest and I was wondering if there was a way to skip it, and/or to disable the quests from this mod.

Such errors usually come from sexlab. Or rather vast majority of ppl wont ever have them.

Something might be wrong with microsoft visual c++ on your machine.

Yes, but I was never having any crashes or errors like this since only this scene in the Captured dreams quest. Any other crashes from just Sexlab I have only seen a CTD with no error, and since this new playthrough, I've only had 1 CTD and after that it's been incredibly smooth sailing.

Just save before the scene with the crash, when it crashes, reload and carry on.  It will usually force the Creation Engine to stop sucking long enough to play the animations in the scene.

I really don't have the patience for crashing and reloading though. and it doing this 4 out of 4 times just makes me want to stop trying. Thats why I was hoping if there was a way to just console myself out of this just to get it out of my quest list.

I recently started a new game with a new character, so I knew I would be playing the newest version.  I have done a few delivery jobs and finished the first quest in Falkreath, and have had no problems to this point.  But before I get too much further into it, I was wondering if the new version you have planned (where it will be possible to become a slave) will require me to start all over again?

It won't require a new game but I will likely recommend it. There will be a number of changes to things so you may miss out on some of them. Currently I am testing what I build with a character that is level 19 and has completed the expansion and have had no issues.

I agree, the retrieval mission pays better than the delivery but is very much easier to carry out,  particularly if your pc is level 30+ it's pretty much a walkover.

Is it? No one is forcing you to fight these thugs on delivery missions.

Most of them you can just avoid. Even if you cant avoid them you can just run away, lost them, return and deliver.

Was giving a try that immerslave start:

level 3 character on legendary difficulty - i was able to complete every single delivery with early bonus (with a first 1k gold i've earned i bought myself a horse).

Retrieval? Bandits kill you in 3-4 hits on such diifficulty. 2 bandits = you die in 2 seconds. Forsworn dual wielders? Sometimes you're dead in 1 hit...

I wasn't even trying... that was too much of suicide mission imo.

True, you can just avoid them as you say -- but it is still a complication. You are racing against the clock so you don't have that much time to play around with the bandits.  If you make a mistake with them they can easily one-hit low Hit Point characters.

Your level 3 example seems to be a bit low to me. I use LAL and I can never make it to the shop at such a low level -- I generally get to level 8 by the time I get there with the "camping in the woods start" -- and that is using a mod that slows down the leveling curve.

I find the retrieval missions to be low risk / high paying mission, because it is just a normal Skyrim radiant style mission you could get from anywhere. I don't see how you are having a harder time.  In very few dungeons do you face more than a couple of enemies at once.  However, even if they are difficult at level 3 on legendary with ASIS and whatever other difficulty you want to place on them, it really doesn't matter since there is nothing forcing you to do them until you are able to do them.  If you are not able to to them at level 3 you can do a bunch of other stuff until you get to a level you can take them on.  You could spend two years of game time before you even bother with them.

Putting a clock on the mission would be another option.  The idea being the courier failed to make the delivery and the master has to have new stuff crafted.  It would be cheaper if someone could retrieve them before have the new items made.  She has to have the package replaced in a few days or it is easier to just write it off as a loss.  The reason for the punishment for a failed mission is that it makes her look even worse to the customer for an even longer delay incurred than if the PC had just declined the mission up front.

So, just had the damndest thing happen, was actually kinda funny.  Was close to the end of the second quest (trying not to do too much spoiling), and I'm lying on the ground, bound and helpless after being return to the Master, when a Dragon attacks.  Yay.  Pretty funny watching everyone running around loosing their shit trying to either kill it or get away from it.  For the nay-sayers who don't believe me, pics are attached.

Okay, thank you. I think I will slow down my progress at the Dream Shop for awhile and do the vanilla path. The Greybeards are calling!

One question, though .. if the Master summons me to do the second quest and I don't respond, will that hurt my stats with her when I update to the new version when it comes out?

It is going to be a while before the next version is ready, there is a lot to do and I have less time now since I am working.

Will it be possible to eventually get revenge on the Master?

Also i tried stealing her Master key to unlock the things she put me in but it didn't work. I did have the generic Devious Devices key which was made at a forge in my inventory at the time, so that might have been the cause of the issue.

Great work btw

Yes you can avoid them, but I'm not sure what point you are making as the bog standard radiant mission bandits aren't that difficult to deal with and can be sneaked around in any case. The example you are using is a very low level pc so unless you are using a mod to slow your levelling you'll still be able to handle retrieval in a very short space of time.

The point I was making is that Delvery carries a real risk if you get it wrong at the destination whereas with Retrieval even with basic care it's impossible to fail it. Hence the suggestion of adding some levelled bandits and chance slider to Retrieval missions to pep them up a bit

That's why I said (a month ago?) to release the working parts you already have.

Like OK, remember the invisible house?

The one where the cook and the slaves stand around?

The cook still stands around. I'd love to TAI the old guy (Mr. Delius or whoever).

And at least one other mod I have uses conversations that seem to end in mid-air. It's understood, the mod isn't finished and prolly never will be (theirs, not yours).

Then of course you'd ignore most of the posts (You'd request every post start with a version, "R" or "B")

And we'd have fun while you were off doing whatever,

What I have working currently:

- working in the mine as a punishment or for pay

- Initial enslavement (property and relationship)

- Relationship slave setup (items, introductory scene and assignment of your room)

That is all, it is not something that is playable currently.

The part I am working on is the property enslavement section. There are 7 major parts to it as well as a number of quests and tasks that go with them. The first part is done (mining) and I am getting ready to test the second part (transporting ore and ingots).

I may decide to delay some parts to release sooner but there is not much I would cut.

Can you try to change something in the Talmors quest? Using the lot of mods, that can trigger different sexlab animations, but this quest is the only that triggers error. Maybe sex without armbinder of smth like it?

PS 2nd time it works without errors.

Personally I like more fully fleshed out releases.  Saves updating all the time and the potential for save game breaks and/or restarts, and can always try out other mods while waiting.  And some coding just isn't modular that can be released in bits (I've tried to tell a boss can't build half a chair that works heh) without wasting time making it so. :)

Slight issue with the first part of the tasks for master quest. I'm at the part where I gave the stuff to Sidd and I'm just waiting for him to put the stuff on the steward. And I wait. And I wait. Then I leave it running and go grab some lunch. Then I come back and do more waiting. The only progress I get is when I activate one of them but then it derails the conversation and they go through the motions without the scene actually working.

Do you see any dialogue between Siddgier and Nenya? He should call to her once you finish your conversation and she will answer.

I have no idea what causes the error but I know it isn't the armbinder as it usually happens for me in the first scene with Elenwen. I have done everything I can to stop them.

I had huge issues when I did the Thalmor quest line at first (aka near constant CTD on SL animation activation) but I think that it was simply that such a heavily scripted set of scenes can strain the engine to a breaking point, and I had a heavy load order.  Simply deactivating a bunch of background non-essential mods in their MCM menus for the duration of the quest ended up reducing the chance of a crash from 80% + to something like 10%.

That being said the Thalmor Embassy is the best part of the expansion IMO, and I'm totally happy to deal with unavoidable stability issues for someone to tell such a detailed and scripted story, thanks!

Ou, that's not good =_= Thanks for reply, waiting for update.

Found one thing about Jahrl's quest: the belt is full... and permanent... and with anal plug... BRRR *thinking, what would be if it would be real*

Does the follower detainment support multiple follower mods? From the dialogue the Master gives during the second quest, it seems as if it should, and I see the messages "follower found" and the follower dismissal message go through all of my followers, but only my first follower gets led away and the other ones just get stripped then continue to follow me using the latest EFF.

I have not figured out how to reliably identify followers set by follower management mods, just the standard Skyrim ones. Still working on it.

Nope. No dialogue or anything. Just completely stops after he takes the amulet. At that point I get the usual dialogue options you would get when the quest isn't running.

Ok, I'm giving up on the Thalmor Embassy quest, I simply can not get it to work with my system.  Have made it as far as back the the shop and had the spiel about the collar from the Master, but even if I can get that far it will lock up there.  Usually locks up at every single stage, or every other stage.  No CTD, just locks up Skyrim, end up having to End Task out of Skyrim.  Seeing as I have managed to see all the events in the quest, could I do the initial delivery (think it's stage 25 or 40?), then setstage to the completion of the quest?  Will that break anything or will it recognize the quest as completed.  Thanks in advance for any advice, been trying for days now and just want to move on from this quest.

Setstage CdxExpQuest02 550 will end it and remove any items put on you.
