I had it all figured out to only recover deliveries, except they are the most dangerous (binding ones now). I think it triggered a dream sequence from sanguine, so I planted myself there vowing to never leave. Except they all started in with their teeny tortures, "Oh, did you need something?" "Hmm?" "What can I do for you?" "Speak!" And then it hit me, the game rewards you for travelling, and tortures you in teeny ways for staying too long in one place. Like the overheated shop with the clutter, and Herran. So I'm here, but things are fine, wish you are too. I was gonna ask you release whatever is in mod 4 How bad can it be? I downloaded an update of a mod that was accidentally unfinished, and was quickly fixed. But that's what gave me the idea: if you can put one single mod in a beta mod to "beam me up" "end this now" or whatever, people could savor your half-baked goodness ("lick the spoon", whatever).
Veladarius Posted January 14, 2015 Author Posted January 14, 2015 Hey Vel! This is the first time I actually noticed who the author of CD was, I feel silly. But I love your mod~ I've been running version 3.8 and I came to see if there was an update, and saw theres a patch for 3.81. So I dont know if the issue is fixed already but when I checked the changelog it didnt mention it. Now I admit I added items with console commands so they might not be ready yet... anyway I was really excited to try out the new chastity piercings, especially the one that had the bell. Any chance on a jingling sound for that btw? Anyway I saw that the lock is supposed to be removed with a chastity key, and the piercings removed with the piercing tool. However the bell piercings didn't work, I don't know if the others did since that was the only one I was interested in. So I tried the key and it didnt unlock anything, For more specific information about the problem I encountered the chastity piercing itself IS removable, just the lock isnt. When I try to unlock it with a chastity key it displays this really long, really tiny and really hard to read message. I actually had to screen shot it and zoom in to be able to read it. It says "The lock on the chastity piercing lock with bell is jammed with a piece of a broken key blocking any attempts to use another key to open it." Which, is odd considering the chance to jam is set to 0. Even odder considering that even when I loaded up to a save without it and tried putting a brand new one on and immediately unlocking it so I knew for sure there wasnt a broken key in it, it seems to automatically come fully stocked with said broken key as a part of the lock. I figure that its probably an error since there was information saying you just had to use a chastity key followed by a piercing removal tool to fully remove it. However the option in Cursed Loot removed it just fine. But, then again since I got ahold of it in the console menu for all I know its not supposed to be available just yet. I also dont know if this has already been reported, since I admit that seeing almost 400 pages on this topic made me hesitant to read back. But, I wanted to make sure it got reported since I really like the idea of a jingly piercing. Maybe we could get nipple bells too~ The lock issue may be with the update for the jammed lock, I think I have the scripts for the items set to incorporate it but not entirely sure now, I will have to check. The piercings have not been added to any of the quests as of yet but they will be at some point in time. As for the bell sound I can probably do it but will just have to figure out how to do it. For adding items to CD directly I have 2 rules: 1- It has to be available in both CBBE and UNPB bodies to match Assets and the Expansion 2- The authors have to give permission for me to include the items with CD. I don't mind making addon's for items but to fully integrate it with CD I would prefer it to be included with it. Oh, and one last little admitance. I havent actually figured out how to start the quest yet but Im always starting new characters after testing stuff so maybe I havent got far enough. But I couldnt help but notice the set named "Erani's so and so." So since I cant help but to try new shinies I went to try them on as well. Feeling my curiosity sated I used the device removal ring, which removed everything except the collar and cuffs. I tried keys on them, and lockpicking, and destruction, and brute force but was told time and time again only the ring could remove it... which it didnt Not sure if thats by design or not, since as I said I didnt exactly acquire them legitly and didnt do the quest and what not I assume is associated with this mysterious Erani. But I thought it was odd that the description of the items say to use the ring to remove them, and the ring doesnt. *shrug* nothing a quick load couldnt fix, I always save before doing anything sneaky like that anyway, but the option in cursed loot seemed to remove these as well. Erani's items are the first of npc slave specific items and have NO KEYS currently assigned to them, they are meant to be removed by scripts. The ring was intended to remove the belt and bra from the person who puts it on but I think I ended up having the dialogue handle the removal. Oh, and one other last thing for reals~ it seems the information about the little devil and little helper plugs on the front page is out of date/incorrect, mainly in consideration of the little devils... since I was most interested in finding out what all they did. For instance, the Tormentor on the first page simply lists it as an electrostim effect but its in game description and the catalogue both say it does random things. the Finisher and Teaser arent even listed, neither on the page or on the catalogue. The in game descriptions are listed as "vaginal plug capable of creating a great amount of stimulation" and "anal plug that vibrates from time to time", guessing theyre both new is all. Oh... and the exciter is listed on the page but it isnt in the catalogue. Now that I think about it, I do have couple mild suggestion about them. It would be nice if the plugs had more varied models with some of them, like matching sets or something maybe? I kind of liked how the spoiler had a different model for instance, made it stand out more. But it just seemed to be the odd one out, like, "one of these is not like the others"... wish more of them looked a little different. That and I wish the in game descriptions of them were more varied and accurate to what they do. A lot of them seem short and vague, and many of them [exciter, finisher and orgasmo] share the exact same in game description. It'd be nice if we didnt have to look up in the book or on the site to find out the specifics, when the site and book get updated I mean~ The plugs (among other things) will be getting some attention, I have well over 100 items to make (many for the player slavery) and have finally organized the items. As it is I doubt that there will be dialogue or a quest that will not get changed or updated with this. Okay thats all my feedback, thanks for reading *hugs*

Papyrus.0- Reload at the mill, wait till daytime, save this time so I can repeat from here so, not sure when clothing changes if that is related to the HDT problem. Enter ship, wait till people finish getting in to positon, takes quite a while, they have gotten jammed up on the stairs. Request delivery job, accept belt. Everything is equipped fine, but it is an open belt so only 3 pieces again, belt, collar and The Exciter. So apparently whatever is getting in the way only causes problems on 4 piece equip jobs. Bleh, this is going to be a pain. Only one HDT error this time, but only one of the slaves was wearing pony boots (red in this case). I will have to try some boots on myself to see if they give the same error? Edited to Add: Loaded from before entering the shop. One HDT error, one person wearing pony boots, bought two pair of boots (for myself and follower), exited wore boots, two more HDT errors. Going to try reinstalling HDT High Heel system. Papyrus.1 - Post HDT heels reinstall. HDT related errors seem gone . Master keeps handing out harnesses or open belts . So decided to do the whole delivery with the set up she gave me, in case any other quest related problems showed. The quest seemed to finish fine to me, even though there are a couple more CDx errors in the log. Would it be improper to grab Master, slam her against the wall and shout "bind me properly!" at her? For the quest the standard outfit is belt, plug(s) and collar, if you want more then purposely drop out of the dialogue at any point after getting the belt. The errors on the log is due to an alias that has not filled yet so it can't figure out who to give an item to (not a huge issue, it gets handled properly later).

He should be right next to you, if not open the console, click on him and type moveto player to get him next to you, hopefully that will get him to position properly.

Open skyui and go to the zaz animations tab, search until you find the tab that shows if animations are registered. If they all say "No", hit sexlab:register animations, or something like that, and sexlab will have access to animations that are armbinder/cuff compatible.

In my testing I am only getting the plugs falling out before the belt is equipped problem on collar, full belt, and two plugs equips. The Harness set doesn't include a collar (because it is part of the harness) so it is only 3 pieces, and works fine. The open belt doesn't have a second plug, so it is also a 3 piece set and equips properly. So recreating the problem which only happens with a 4 piece set when she keeps handing out 3 piece sets is somewhat frustrating. Because it works with 3 but not 4 I am guessing that just a tiny bit faster processing of the event would make it work for me. If the errors are that bit of slowness then I would like to get rid of them, I am not terribly far along so I will try a new game in a day or two when I have time. If fixing the errors don't work then it probably means I need to upgrade my computer to keep up with the mods, and that will have to wait till tax returns happen.

I was assuming that since you already had the little meshy for the bell it might be easy to replace the little soul gem fragments in the nipple piercings with the bells instead, or, maybe just add the bell and put it over the fragments... I guess if it's not that simple we'd first need someone that knows how to use meshies then. Maybe I assumed it would be easier than it really is. I'd do it though if I knew how. I just wanted to give a bit extensive feedback about my "quest to figure out what all the devil plugs did" and figured the information should definitely be a little easier to find. Im half tempted to open up the CK and look at the enchantments/scripts directly. Any hints on what the specific ones I mentioned do or how they differ from the others since I have your attention now?

I know a little on the meshes side (how to remove some bits and change the slot used) but nothing on the texturing of them. The plug effects are run by keywords on the script instance item, Integration sees these and applies the effect it calls for. As for what they do: Tormentor - Edge Random, Electro Stim, Vibrate on Spell Cast, Vibrate Random Exciter - Edge Random, Vibrate Random - linked (runs together) Orgasmo - Lively, Very Lively, Stamina Drain, Vibrate Very Strong - linked Spoiler - Edge Random, Electro Stim - linked Punisher - Edge Random, Electro Stim, health draining, stamina draining, mana draining - linked What the effects are: Vibrate <xxx> - Causes the plugs to vibrate from very softly to very strong. Random does one randomly Vibrate on Spell Cast - vibrates when casting a spell, the more mana the spell uses the stronger it vibrates Edge <xxx> - will vibrate but will not cause an orgasm, tries to keep you at a high arousal Electro Stim - Lets out a shock reducing the arousal level <xxx> Drain - drains that stat when triggered Linked - triggers all (I believe) effects at once.

You can try setting the stage to 150 on CDxExpQuest02, that is the stage that moves you.

If she is upstairs it should run as the part in the VIP house is 1 single scene in the CK and there are no scripts in those phases. If she isn't there at all it is usually an issue with starting the quest that controls her as a slave. I had to move the start of that to an earlier stage as it was taking a long time to run and caused delays.

Farmthat Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 Just as a tip to anyone having scenes hang--in this mod or others--often you can hit T to wait an hour, and after that, all actors arrive at their appropriate locations and everything progresses smoothly. Always worth a try before despairing.

Managed to work around that though by unlocking the cell door and opening it so they can leave.

I read the Devious Devices wiki in GitHub and I also looked at your mod to see how you manage things there. I took the CDxDeliveryJob as an example, and I have a question about it: in the Script Tabs you have the CDxCapturedDreamsErrands script, with several lines of code in it but also, there is code in the End fragment of some dialogues. So, have you written the CDxCapturedDreamsErrands first and then took the parts you needed from it and put them in those fragments? Or they are completely independant with different uses? I ask because I'm not sure if I should make a big general script with my functions and links to the zadlibs and then call them from those fragments or just put all the necessary code directly in the latter. I managed to use the ManipulateDevice and equip a belt on my PC through dialogue, but I don't know if that's the correct (or at least recommended) way of doing it. In the meantime I'll continue reading about the vanilla non-devious scripting

In the meantime I'll continue reading about the vanilla non-devious scripting Personally I prefer to build a function that is in the main script of the quest and call on it from various places as it makes it easier to repeat consistently and update if needed. The CDxFramework script is an example of that as it holds the main removal scripts for the mod. The fragments in the main script are from the quest stages, I use the script the CK generates for those fragments to hold all of my functions as I find it is the easiest to access from other scripts. The fragments are added automatically from the stages tab in the CK and those should be edited from there. Also, any Aliases you create on the Alias tab will be stored there as well.

Scripting done in fragments (quest stages, dialogue and scenes) I do in the CK as they get rather picky, everything else I do in Notepad++ as it has actual features (unlike the CK's editor).
Why Hello there Posted January 15, 2015 Posted January 15, 2015 (edited) I'm having a very annoying bug in the game, I looked through the forum for any fixes but none of them actually worked. So the bug is that when I went to Master to remove the Captured Dream Chastity belt where you are forced to where at the beginning it gets removed but then suddenly I'm equipped with a Captured Dream Armbinder for no reason even If I never had the item in my inventory. I tried the following: 1. Telling master to remove it for 4000 gold, it takes my gold and does nothing. 2. Removing through console via removeitem <id> <count>, it says "captured dream armbinder removed" yet it still stays there. 3. Tried removing it through the "take it off" option, however it doesn't work despite the menu going to the message that says I have successfuly taken it off. 4. Gagging myself before removing the chastity set and talking to a random NPC removes the armbinder, but the armbinder is still in my inventory and is saying it is equipped, and I can't get rid of it or click on it otherwise I'm back to square one. When I tried to sell it or store it, the armbinder disappears for awhile the reappears in my inventory again as well the place where I tried to get rid of it while also making me equip it again. 5. Also tried failing the retrieve courier package mission, but the armbinder stills stay there despite the master mention removing all my equipment. Apart from the following, everything works out fine. Edit: Used option 3, and just did a fewe more missions. End it up being fixed for some reason. Edited January 15, 2015 by Why Hello there

If you have an item locked on you, do NOT have a CD custom belt (quest or protector) and your rank with the master is 7 or less she will not give you a job. If you can get rid of whatever is locked on you then she will employ you again (so long as your rank is 5 or better). If the items that are stuck are CD quest items using the reset for the delivery quest will remove those. If they are normal items Kara would have directed you to the person who you can pay to have them removed (Master removed gags, blindfolds and armbinders).
