Guest Posted January 29, 2015 Posted January 29, 2015 So #3, I love it when master says something like "O, so you WANT to wear the belt?" You're finally a broken submissive PC, and whatever other immersive BS you wanna throw in, so you say "well, yes, I would" I see your point. But where would be the problem if instead you could say: "Can't I keep on the one I'm wearing now? I love it soooo much!" Another idea that popped into my head a few moments ago: What if there was an optional "hardcore mode" to the delivery quest? You also get equipped with gag and armbinder and maybe even blindfold and pony boots. And then you have to make your delivery that way. Including the gag dialog when trying to explain to the recipient what you want from them. Could be kind of cool. You could get extra cash for doing the delivery like that (again, good advertising for the CD shop) I just don't know for sure what to do about the bandits. Maybe you could outrun them or sneak past them. Would have to be tested. Or maybe they shouldn't be spawned in this mode. Or be spawned at a location where you can bypass them somehow when you see them. Again, just putting ideas out. It's fine with me if Veladarius doesn't pick them up. Your logic is already implemented. Well, um, I think so. Consider the "Free Trial". You're already dressed appropriately. "I love my belt so much" would be an option certainly, after you've earned the privilege of not wearing the standard cold silver belt. You could imagine you're a fawning fool and stick on the most restrictive harness they make, but trust me, you'd regret it bigtime later. Master never cares if you're extra-good, she only gets riled if you're bad, and many users seem to like it that way (I don't get it). I want someone who cares both ways. Hell, at least Sanguine beats me but tells me nice stories and calls me "pet". The bandits are a mystery to me, my combination of mods right now forces me to kneel and drop my sword. I'm powerless, and then I get up and if I'm very lucky, I can cut off a few heads. This almost never ends well.
Veladarius Posted January 30, 2015 Author Posted January 30, 2015 i'm having an issue similiar to one of the others.. i'm basically stuck in the middle of quest 2 in the thalmor embassy right after the party with the guards having their way.. they return me to my cell and it just stops animations at that point with the cell door still open and i'm standing on the bed roll while ailus is in the cell next to me. i tried enabling player control.. closing and reopening cell door, talking to the guards.. sitting in the corner... no luck. my mods are all fresh.. all installed earlier this week and started the mod fresh at that point. (I am using SL aroused.. not redux.) I think that (for whatever reason) the guard who goes to the water barrel and comes back is getting stuck on something (not that there is anything to get stuck on there). The only other thing that can be happening is another mod is trying to have him do something which will pause my scene, if it keeps happening it can break it. You can try going into the console, use tfc so you can move the camera to see him and then resetai on him and see if that gets him started. You can also try using moveto player as getting a stuck actor to another position seems to help it figure out where to go. Thanks for the great mod! After Master forces your player character to put on items to try them out, my PC has been just standing there unable to move for more than 24 hours.... Is there a work around for this? Something I can do to get Master to come back to me? Perhaps a quest stage? I have been through this before in the past when it work fine. It is just something that happened this time. thanks in advance =) The scene uses a timer that counts down every half hour game time, once it is done it triggers the scene for her to return. Stage 250 is the next part but that will skip the enabling of waiting and controls, since it is done a different way than my normal one the MCM menu won't work to enable them. I am adding the command to enable them to the stage for an update coming soon but for now you will need to go to an earlier save. As to why it happened, I am not sure. Its funny... i had no problems til the very very end, when waiting for Erani... it became something like that French play... Waiting for Godot. Master was there as was the person who took care of Erani. Master says Come down here Erani. And then we all wait and wait... and wait. Other servants come to and fro, clopping around on those wonderful horse heels. But our dear Erani never ever shows and thus the play ends with the audience in suspense, and a reload to the point before we started this existential examination of the npc condition, for we it seem had become one. I've had this happen damn near every time, so it's a habit now to "wait: one hour". In my immersive little mind, I feel guilty as hell I'm making everyone wait, but this last play-through, Erani "appeared" right after the wait ended, and walked a couple steps to her position in the script. I don't know how to explain "appeared", maybe think ghost. To another post waiting forever, change the POV camera often. Nothing else works for me to get stuck scenes going other than clicking the POV hotkey (My left controller button). The frustrating thing is, only some users get these glitches, I'm one of them. I've had the same experience with Erani: when she's supposed to be summoned, it can take her forever to get there. Just using the 'Wait' command for one or two hours has always fixed it for me though, so I just do that by default now. The latest version I added a check to see if her quest was started, if not it would start it. The process to set her up and move her is taking some time, I think it is due to the duplication of the items by the outfit. I will make some changes for the update to be released in a few days (it is for changes in the core DD mods).
Veladarius Posted January 30, 2015 Author Posted January 30, 2015 my most problematic exp in skyrim modding was with CD shop so far. no other mod has managed to give me as many ctd or freezes ever. i really want to know what the cause to all of that is. i love the mod too much to give up Check your papyrus logs for errors to start with, see if there are errors that is slowing down the equipping of locked items by Integration. CD uses Integration heavily so if it isn't running well neither will mine.

As for the delivery quest I am making another one that has you in some additional gear but no bandits. You will likely have a guard with you since you won't be able to use much other than your feet. I am looking to add a difficulty setting for the mod that will adjust things where possible. Kneeling in front of the bandits isn't something I have in place, my scripts should kick in once you go under 30% health. If you are using defeat or anything else similar set the point that it starts to 20% or less.

r5e4w3q2 Posted January 30, 2015 Posted January 30, 2015 Random bit of curiosity, how many bad guys can show up to intercept a delivery? I have 4 successful deliveries in a row and I think the last ambush had 8 people in it. Though with how much running around I had to do I am not sure. I have not seen more then one "boss" or "mage" but have seen multiple of the sword and shield guy and the sword and empty hand guy.
aqqh Posted January 30, 2015 Posted January 30, 2015 6 i believe 1 boss, 1 brute, 1 mage, 0-3 lackeys

I downloaded tessedit a long time ago because if the mod order is wrong, it will bomb with an error, so that's helpful. Other than that I have not found any use for it. I studied it tonight, after reading your post. I got hung up on an addon someone invented, I went to the inventor's website, his invention (in the mod) wasn't there. So it's been 90 minutes, I still don't know a damn thing about Tessedit. I want to use anything at all that insures against crashes. I just don't know where to start (with Tessedit).
greyspammer Posted January 30, 2015 Posted January 30, 2015 There is already dialogue in place that you can ask to wear a belt on the quest. -A- belt or the one I'm currently wearing? I don't remember seeing the last one, maybe I'll have to give it another whirl. As for the delivery quest I am making another one that has you in some additional gear but no bandits. You will likely have a guard with you since you won't be able to use much other than your feet. Sounds cool. Would be interesting if we could pick the gender of the guard and then get molested by him/her on the way. Where you don't know what's worse: the guard or the bandits. Ah, sorry, I start spouting out ideas again. I know this will come out wrong, apologies in advance. I downloaded tessedit a long time ago because if the mod order is wrong, it will bomb with an error, so that's helpful. Other than that I have not found any use for it. I'm not sure tes5edit is really meant for end-users. I found it to be useful on occasion during the development of my mod. And if I want to give myself an item or perk via console and need to look up the refid then tes5edit starts faster than the CK. Generally, trying to track down the specific issue in the papyrus log is the best way. One might also try tools like BOSS or LOOT. They are, however, shotguns. You don't always hit (only) what you were aiming for. I wouldn't recommend them for regular use like some sites do (e.g. "always run BOSS after adding a mod"). But when you have exhausted all other options and no papyrus search is getting nowhere, it might be worth a try (backups strongly recommended).
Guest Posted January 30, 2015 Posted January 30, 2015 I miss offering ideas that might be used, in an alternate reality. So Here, a few ideas: Flavored gags, so one might taste like honey, and once you're used to using it, another might contain Skooma, or just water for the really thirsty. Plugs vibrate and keep you from fighting, useless things. What if they gave you a jolt of energy when you were tired, and boosted your speechcraft when you needed to not be boring? Master is too moral to fool around (So I've read) but an occasional caress or even a pat on the head would not be unwelcome. For the truly sadistic, borrow a clue from star trek and have her pat your head and then slap you. ---------- No one has fun, ever. This is unrealistic, even in my non-smoking state. There were no radios, no amos&andy, and slaves were not encouraged to learn to read, but (I don't know) needlepoint? Being tied up 24/7 without even one bathroom break? I propose a quite legal (for skyrim) solution, all slaves bathe in some river periodically, and the anal retentive ones could be ordered to catch something (A fish or a plant). So Dovakin coming back from slaying yet another dragon would look over and say "it's Saturday already?" after seeing the swimmers.
badbat111 Posted January 30, 2015 Posted January 30, 2015 as for the embasy quest have you thought about having female followers go with the player to share in the quest line ?

I don't remember seeing the last one, maybe I'll have to give it another whirl. It depends on a number of things (rank and disposition mainly) but if you start the quest with no belt, a standard belt or Protector belt the next dialogue has 6 possible things it can do. As for the delivery quest I am making another one that has you in some additional gear but no bandits. You will likely have a guard with you since you won't be able to use much other than your feet. The papyrus log is the best place to start, repeating errors can end up killing scripts in your game long before you realize it. As for BOSS or LOOT I don't use them, BOSS at least did a decent job of organizing them but LOOT tosses everything all over the place (I prefer an organized load order).
guyfreely Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 Okay, I realize I'm asking a lot here, but I crash every time I enter the CD shop. I would provide logs for the crash, but the logs literally stop right when I load in. Like the last entry in the log refers to an npc in the previous cell. This has been happening since pre-3.7.5. I can't remember exactly which version it stopped working in. I have all of the pre-req mods on the latest versions, and always have in the past. This happens with old games and new games alike. For some reason, I can coc my way into the cellar and that works just fine. It's definitely something in the main shop cell. It doesn't matter if I go through the front door, cellar door, or coc into the cell. Also, I never actually see the cell, it crashes while loading it. I tried disabling almost every other "devious" mod like enslaved, etc. to no avail. Is there any particular mods that don't play well with CD and have known issues? I'm looking for any suggestions on how to figure this out. The only thing I can think of doing now is taking out every mod except CD and it's pre-req then adding them back in from there, assuming that works. That is just a bit too much work at this point. Sort of the nuclear option.

r5e4w3q2 Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 6 i believe 1 boss, 1 brute, 1 mage, 0-3 lackeys Yeah, I might have broken something with multiple updates on this save, I had 7 this time on a delivery to Morthal. 1 boss, 1 mage, 2 brutes, 3 lackeys. All packed in the little valley south of the town, made things a bit interesting.

If you have a poor record of completing deliveries the max is 4, average is 5, doing well is 6. If you updated from the version using the old quest to the new that would explain it, the entire quest was redone including the bandit deployment. The extra brute was likely left over from that.
Plumber Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 I'm not sure if this is a bug or some sort of oversight on my side, but I was not able to complete the embassy quest, more specifically - the dinner party stage. All guards in embassy are trying to kill something invisible and scenes don't start. Looks really weird and funny in the same time. P.S. Sorry, my English is bad.

I'm getting very bad at sword fighting. Reminds me of when I was little and I fought flailing with eyes closed. Between that and the kill-cam, it's impossible to kill cleanly. O plus, my "magic effects" tells me that the belt, bra, milk and the fact I'm tired are working against me. So (this is just a request), couldn't the bandits be limited to three once again? Boss, his friend, and the girl. I used to put a friend-spell on the girl, Now I just flail the swords hoping I hit something.

Loopy06 Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 Is it possible to remove erani's belt and bra ? Because I don't get how to use the ring. Also, how to change the restrains set if it's possible (no dialogue option with the master) ? The mod is really awesome, I haven't got any cdt. Only "bugs" I got : - NPCs or the player having difficulties finding their path in the ambassy. - Same issue as others with erani in the manor, strangely using tfc made her open the door and walk down.

The ring does not really do much anymore, the dialogue to start sex with her checks to see if it is there or not and offers to remove the items. I am still working out some issues with the duplication of items, I have made some changes for the next (and hopefully last) v3.x release. I don't know why npc's are so stupid on their pathing, I even went through and added preferred paths to the navmeshes. She is still being rather temperamental on moving for that scene, I will likely have to rebuild it for v4.

And one of the things the patches do is dress the shop NPCs in some of those items. So maybe it's trying to dress Master in something that you don't have installed?

Veladarius Posted February 2, 2015 Author Posted February 2, 2015 The Master is a standard Altmer race and with no addon's she uses only standard Skyrim items.
