SiegfriedFafnersbane Posted December 23, 2013 Posted December 23, 2013 Sorry guys for trouble, you have right. I'm stupid ignorant and didn't read the author's instruction at first.  Thanks for all your hints.
Zydar Posted December 23, 2013 Posted December 23, 2013 Just wanted to report that I used the new update on a new character, headtracking was still there despite having the option to disable it on the mod's MCM menu. Headtracking mod was above this mod in the load order.
Guest Posted December 24, 2013 Posted December 24, 2013 Could somebody give me a few ideas why the mod could not be appearing in mcm? I've uninstalled and re installed everything and I'm kinda running out of ideas D: hawp!
Greer Posted December 24, 2013 Posted December 24, 2013 Camera follows characters head all the time and no option can turn it off.Downgrading back to 0.6 because of that:/
hryh23k9823u Posted December 24, 2013 Posted December 24, 2013 Camera follows characters head all the time and no option can turn it off.Downgrading back to 0.6 because of that:/ Â In the newest versions the option is called 'head rotation', and its in each profile, you can set it from 0 (completely off) to 100 (completely on)
h38fh2mf Posted December 24, 2013 Author Posted December 24, 2013 Added new version. This one should be helpful for people who don't want to change configurations on their own, it includes some default ones to make playing better.
Ashra XIII Posted December 24, 2013 Posted December 24, 2013 I like having some presets, and I like being able to save them to a file for later. Only thing I'd like more is to be able to copy settings from one profile to another, so I could then make fine adjustments to them. Then again, if the saved file works between upgrades, it may not be so necessary in the future.
Guest Posted December 24, 2013 Posted December 24, 2013 So the camera does change somewhat in the manner that it follows my head all the time but i still dont see it register in the mcm strange okay I'll try a bare game install and see what happens. Â
Dayelyte Posted December 24, 2013 Posted December 24, 2013 Outstanding mod btw. It's a little tricky to get setup with the camera positioning and near / far settings, but once it's done, it works well  Absolutely thrilled with it.  Thought to make the setup easier / dynamic: Consider binding hotkeys to the positional sliders ?   Ergo, shift-<insertkeyhere> will move the up / down position by x amount, shift-<insertkeyhere> will move the left / right position by x amount, etc.  Would allow you to dynamically adjust the camera where you want it without dropping into the mod config, make the change, drop out to check the adjustment, and repeat X times until you're happy with it.Â
Zydar Posted December 24, 2013 Posted December 24, 2013 The mod now disable headtracking as it should for me now, thanks for the fix!
NicoleDragoness Posted December 24, 2013 Posted December 24, 2013 Because I'm using XPMS 1.92 Bach Hip Dagger Skeleton, I use also the "Realistic Ragdoll force" mod. Plus, I have the latest "The Dance of Death" mod, about killmoves. Â So, my question is: Â What is the best position for ImmersiveFP in the load order in relation with the two mods above? Â PS: I don't have specific headtracking or special cameras mods. All vanilla.
h38fh2mf Posted December 24, 2013 Author Posted December 24, 2013 Anywhere after SkyUI is fine the ESP file only contains MCM menu and keybinds.
NicoleDragoness Posted December 24, 2013 Posted December 24, 2013 Just installed. I guessed it needed to be after SkyUI and it is. Gosh! A lot more complicated for me (my previous version was the 0.6). Considering that english is not my language. I need to learn.
h38fh2mf Posted December 24, 2013 Author Posted December 24, 2013 I tried to make some default configuration that is playable but everyone has different preference and depends on your monitor too
Erinaea Posted December 25, 2013 Posted December 25, 2013 For me, the crosshair when aiming a bow is off. The arrow shoots higher and to the left slightly when in First Person.  Is that common or did I do something wrong :c?
Ashra XIII Posted December 25, 2013 Posted December 25, 2013 I haven't tried much archery since installing IFP, but I do have a real issue with magic spells going way higher than what my crosshair would indicate. It does make things a bit of a pain, but for all the benefits this mod provides, I'm not complaining... just hoping a fix comes along.
pinky6225 Posted December 25, 2013 Posted December 25, 2013 yay for the turn where you look option cheers dude makes life lot easier. Â Â

A couple weeks ! Are you some kind of person who doesn't need to sleep or is your version system really different from other developers ?  No need to answer. Actually I think I already know the answer. To me, your IFP 0.6 looked like a 1.0... not beautiful, with some bugs... but working !  Good job, man !  Keep up the good work !
h38fh2mf Posted December 25, 2013 Author Posted December 25, 2013 I went from 0.6 to 1.0 and also few versions are only fixing one or two things that were big problems so I had to release new version fast.
Srende Posted December 26, 2013 Posted December 26, 2013 The option to turn your character while standing still isn't working for me anymore in 1.4. It worked fine in 1.3 though.
h38fh2mf Posted December 26, 2013 Author Posted December 26, 2013 Try this: set left right restricted angle to 110, turn on the "character turns" and look as much left as you can, if the camera jumps back to the middle then the problem is that you need to make a clean save. Â To make a clean save: uninstall mod load game save game install mod again
Srende Posted December 26, 2013 Posted December 26, 2013 I had done that but turns out loading profiles from an older version is a bad idea ^^
Srende Posted December 26, 2013 Posted December 26, 2013 Yup, using the load profile option in the MCM menu seemed to prevent the turning from working when the loaded profile was made in the previous version. And that persisted even after changing the option. I did a new clean save and it worked properly until I loaded the old profiles again. So I reloaded the game from the clean save again and redid the profiles, works now
D_ManXX2 Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 I was gonna ask the same question will try the clean save and see if the upside down camera is fixed in the latest version.
