The changes I do to Devices Underneath don't save after reloading the save game. Is it supposed to work like that?

Say, I do not think it be too healthy to name scripts "tif__*", as several mod authors do so (CK standard pattern?) and there is probably no elaborate mechanism in place to prevent number collisions.

 

Also, while browsing Integration, I found corrupted data

in the VMAD of zad_piercingNsoulInventory:

[05023E71] < Error: Could not be resolved >

- Looks unhealthy.

 

The plugin referenced is Assets, the Id is not taken either there or within Integration itself.

 

From the pattern of other items, it looks like the entry is supposed to point into Integration, towards an entry with Editor Id "zad_piercingNsoul_scriptInstance" - which however does not exist.

 

And I put this into a spoiler tag because piercings are not yet mentioned in the feature list or the changelog.

 

 

Missing Cursed Soulgem Plugs inventory model has not been fixed.

hi I love the devioud devices series of mods to the point that i dont think I could play skyrim without them. could I request tat you put an option in the mcm menu to set how long the "reward" effect of the new training plugs lasts oh and one for how long you have to go without casting magic to get it. e.g go one week without casting magic and then get rewarded in which the effect lasts 24 hours max then repeats? 

 

might make gameplay hard with that effect going but it would be the players folt for setting it for that long. ^-^

Having an issue here where I can't equip Chastity Bra. Whenever I try, there's no message box, the equipping sound plays, and it gets unequipped immediately.

 

Checked the papyrus log, and the last lines were:

 

[Zad]: OnEquipped(Zaazfrjir: Chastity Bra (Padded))

[Zad]: OnEquipped(): Detected/fixed broken item state. Zaazfrjir has rendered Chastity Bra in inventory still.

[Zad]: OnUnequipped(Zaazfrjir: Chastity Bra (Padded))

 

I tried different Bras, but none work, and they all give this same message (with the name of the bra I'm trying to equip).

 

Also, when I try to equip different Bras, they fail to equip, and I get equipped with a Padded Bra that isn't on my inventory, and using the 'inv' console command shows 4+ unnamed equipped items (checked this right after removing everything and using 'unequipall'). Trying to equip them again gives a message that I'm already wearing one.

that my polled event list is empty after install and load the save game

Your installation is broken: Reinstall the latest versions of both Assets, and Integration.

Change the slot that the device hider uses, via this mod's MCM menu.

The missing records aren't any form of "Corruption": Merely features that exist in the current assets beta, that aren't ready for public consumption yet. Given that the new items aren't available yet, there's no problem.

 

I'm aware of the potential tif__ conflict. Renaming those scripts is on the list (Though is quite low priority).

Glad you're enjoying the mod: I might add an MCM option for the default training plugs in the future (Though of course, modders that extend the training plugs are free to set whatever parameters they like).

For clarity sake, what I did here was:

  • loaded
  • generated keys for removing equipped devices
  • used 'unequipall' command
  • tried equipping the Chastity Bra (Padded)

This is mod is exactly what I was looking for since I start modding my Skyrim. Thank you for making such a awesome mod! One question though: What is a Leash Plug and how do we obtain it?

Quick question: I have Lydia gagged, but she is still capable of talking to me even when I don't have any dialogue boxes open with her. Is this normal? If not, how do I fix this? 

 

I have all necessary Devious Devices: Integration mods as well as Devious Devices: Extra installed.

turns out i have to re-download the assets mod

even though i was pretty sure i had the latest version :/

Try GagSFX. It doesn't work in every situation or npc I think though.

Odd: Upload a complete copy of your log, and I'll take a look.

 

For clarity sake, what I did here was:

  • loaded

Looks like I introduced that issue while adding the desync fix: It'll be fixed for next release. In the mean-time, you can remove the rendered item from your inventory via the console to solve the problem.

 

I have an issue where the MCM menu is showing up. Any known fixes?

If you want help troubleshooting, please upload a complete copy of your Papyrus.0.log (as an zip/rar/7z/etc'ed attachment) in which you reproduce the problem you're experiencing, as well as a complete copy of your load order.

 

This is mod is exactly what I was looking for since I start modding my Skyrim. Thank you for making such a awesome mod! One question though: What is a Leash Plug and how do we obtain it?

:). The Leash Plugs are a special type of plug that "encourages" the PC to stay within a certain radius of a location, item, or actor. It's a quest-only item for the time being (Though several mods are being developed that will make use of it, none are published as of yet).

 

Hello, I have not started the quest in arkaneume. Orc does not react on open shelves or taking, reading books. Tried to throw again and lift and zero reaction and dialogues also nothing with it ((( http://www.screencapture.ru/file/D735C6a2

If you want help troubleshooting, please upload a complete copy of your Papyrus.0.log (as an zip/rar/7z/etc'ed attachment) in which you reproduce the problem you're experiencing, as well as a complete copy of your load order.

Not yet a bugreport, since I dont know how it is supposed to work, let's call it a bug suspicion :P

 

After initiating Sergius' Experiment I end up with a Chastity Belt (equipped & unremoveable) and 1 plug (not equipped). The text box made it sound like it should be 2 plugs, but that's not the real problem, more that I cant equip the plug manually either (since the belt is blocking it). Arousal level is at 100 and no messages indicate any "charging" (not that I would really expect it, with a loose plug ...)

 

Given I am plagued by script lag with SexLab all the time, is this maybe a glitch in the equip script, where step 2 (belt) was executed before step 1 (plug)? If so, implementing a failsafe might be an idea? I don't think I am alone being tormented by the papyrus lag demon :-/

Is there a way to get npcs to wear any of the devices without using the console? Trying to make Defeat and/or Submit a little more exciting. 

 

There's a mod available on LL named Devious Interactions that allows you to give devices to NPCs.  I'm not sure that's what you're looking for though, since if I recall correctly your PC has to talk to them to give them the devices.

The EFF multi follower mod has a little plugin named as "Mind Control".

Casting this spell against a NPC, whoever it is, makes it as your temporary follower (with all the standard features of a normal follower).

So, you can craft any DD device and makle the NPC to wear it.

 

After that, simply dismiss the NPC and it will return on its normal routines but, wearing the device.

Haven't tested it, but the PuppetMaster mod here should be able to do that as well. 

 

 


Remove default outfit - you have full control over what they wear.

Hello, my pc after being "caught," was equiped with 2 leather harnesses.  When I looked in the pc inventory one harness was valued at 500 the other at 1500.  I picked the lessor valued harness first and was able to unequip the harness (no msg as to how to take it off), and the Chastity quest ended.   When I went to remove the 1400 harness the msg how to remove appeared, no go on removal (tried magic).  My question is what do I need to do to fix this or what I have I done to cause this?   Are there 2 harnesses that have 2 different slots?  Every thing has work correctly until this current game.    Ok one other quick question :) , are there any benifits to using either 60 or 61 hide slots.

Sounds like you were given one of the LADL harnesses from Expansion.

 

 

There are 3 harnesses packed with Expansion:

 

1) Ebonite Harness: Functionally identical to the regular Harness from DDa except for it's textures, it's very shiny (and a bit more expensive to buy and craft). Nothing else is changed but the looks though, it uses the same slots, and functions as a combined belt and collar like the regular DDa Harness.

 

2) LADL Locking Harness: Used by the LADL mod on lower difficulty settings, it uses a different slot and can be worn with a belt and collar already on, but it's mainly cosmetic and does not function as a belt like Harnesses normally do.

 

3) LADL Blocking Harness: Used by the LADL mod on highest difficulty setting, it uses the main body-slot (slot 32) to prevent the wearer from wearing armor over it, it can be worn with a belt and collar already on, and again, it does not function as a belt.

 

 

You're wearing #2 or #3, and as i recall, you will need a stadard Restraints key to remove it (Harnesses normally require Chastity keys, but i seem to recall that the LADL ones changed that), or get lucky brute-forcing it off with lockpicks (how easy that is is entirely dependant on your escape setting in the DD menu).

 

If you really want it off quick though, you could just use the console to give yourself a key.

Ok having 2 harness equiped can happen, great so eveything is working! :)   I didn't need to get out of the second harness, I just wanted to check to see if it was correct to have two equiped.  Thank you for the info and reply!
