Well my friends, i am on the Search for a modder or a modder Team, which likes to do a Devious Devices Rebound mod for Death Alternative. Just like the ones for submit and defeat.

this matter should be Independent from these 2 mods. Death Alternative becomes a Requirements now for some Major Loverslab mods and it would be apropiate for devious devices to come in directly.  Will you engage in this ?

huh. when i put on Masque of Clavius Vile Helm, it's acting like a gag. how ironic.

 

and i cant get it to come off lol

Yeah, I'm using 2.8.0 (and expansion 1.1.1 if that's relevant)

Quite odd. Post a copy of your Papyrus.0.log to rule out script errors?

 

 

Embarrassingly, I've never been able to get the damn thing to generate a log. It's been kind of a handicap while modding :/

 

My symptom has changed slightly, for no reason I know. Now, the armbinder goes on properly, but the character's arms come out as soon as she runs.

 

Unless that raises a flag for somebody, I'm going to stop bothering you all with this. It seems like something weird on my end, not a widespread problem.

You have Gags+ installed. That changes the effect of the helmet.

have a problem with the Armbinder i can't unequip it I've try asking a npc to remove it they say they will, but it still on. I try manipulating the locks then i try to remove it shows the message as if it was removed, but it still on. try struggling until it lose then removing once again shows the message saying it removed, but it still stays on. I have everything updated I've try uninstalling, and re-installing idk what wrong with my game.

 

It just the armbinder everything else works fine.

sometime you need to wait a bit when unequipping the armbinder (like 30 second or so), dont do anything like trying to access you inventory to try to clic on the armbinder.

 

if waiting a bit doesnt solve it, if you have access to your inventory, just clic quickly several time on the armbinder till the usual armbinder message panel appears (the one with "open with key", "struggle", "endure your bond")

once you get the message, the state of the armbinder should be back to normal.

now try to struggle till you can get free.

 

once your are free, do a quick-save / quick-load

i had the same problem the issue isn't the game but the save itself with that save you will never get an armbinder off with out the console

mmm, I have experimented multiples problems since the inclusion of the armbinder, but I always succeded to get out of it (the normal armbinder, that it, not the special version from Captured Dream)

 

when you say you tried to remove it from the console, did you un-equip the placeholder AND the effect ?

 

the armbinder placeholder is xx028a5a

the armbinder effect is xx00ca38

(replace xx accordingly)

 

you may need to execute the player.unequipeitem twice for each alternatively:

player.unequipeitem xx028a5a

player.unequipeitem xx00ca38

You shouldn't do both at the same time. Sergius's quest can be completed by talking to him just before you orgas,. (Really just before)

Then i'm guessing you added the wrong Armbinder via console.

 

Captured Dreams contains an unremovable Armbinder, this is a quest item and should only be used durring it's related quest, and if you gave yourself that one and put it on, then yeah, you'd be up the river without a paddle.

no it was the right armbinder just decided to start working when i remove those mods.

where i get the ZAP bound animations ??? please send me a link

 

and  i seen in the Assets that there are Soulgem Piercings.... how to wear them or where is the quest ?

EDIT: I also found the pierced nipple perk in console and added it to my character, managed to equip the piercings but it looked like there aren't any textures/models yet :(

The ZAP bound animations are included in zaz. I installed the update recently and DD recognized them. I just had to register them. They do work, whether you're bound or in an armbinder, there are animations available without horrible glitching!

Help me understand this "Devices Underneath" thing.

How does your Undies system works? Is there something I have to pay attention for my 'Make it compatible' project?

The system is fairly simple:

Essentially a hiddden item is equipped on your character, which has it's ArmorAddon managed by script. By use of Logical And's / Or's, the slotmask of the hidden item's AA is updated to hide whatever should be hidden, as per the current MCM configuration. The slotmask is updated every time an item is equipped / unequipped, and is rebuilt entirely on game load / mcm reconfiguration. This permits us to hide items without unequipping them. It doesn't let us render more than one item per slot.

 

It should be compatible with everything. In the case of slot conflicts (It uses 60 by default), the slot can be reconfigured to another slot, via the MCM.

 

If you're interested in taking a look at the implementation of the system, it is contained within the zadDevicesUnderneathScript.psc, and zadDevicesUnderneathPlayerScript.psc

 

I just would like to thank you for the great work done on the last release.

 

the new SKSE plugin is doing a wonderful work, the performance improvement is really noticeable and I hardly notice any problem anymore, same for the fix on device de-sync, I havent encountered that problem since the update

Will i have any problems with scripts, if i will change body part slots in nif-files and creation kit?

I chenged slots for padded cuffs. I thing it is work fine. But i am not good in you scripts

anyone knows how I can get the armbender and/or cuffs to be automaticaly equiped on victims when the relevant animation is triggered without having th armbender in the victims inventory?

i was afraid of that.. Ijust hoped there was a way to make the armbinder work pretty much like the strapon. :-(
