Um. How are the piercings working out with HDT? I've tried every UNPB nipple piercing (not this one yet though) and they just won't align properly.

 

Also do piercings have requirements like plugs requiring a belt to stay in? Maybe they can't be used with a belt/bra or something.

 

See the Assets mod description and/or description text during the Assets install to see what bodies are supported. In terms of UNPB its the BBP/TBBP version that is bundled with the 2.5.2 body.

 

Unfortunately nipple placement tends to vary significantly among body types, so using the piercings with any other types or custom versions will most likely cause them to appear offset.

So since piercings can't be worn together with the bra, I take it that as a less visually intrusive alternative? In any case I'd have to check this out soon.

 

Thank you Devious Device Team for all your hard work. With the modder resources you are setting up I hope to see more of what other people could cook up for the mod series.

Alright getting a CTD after updates. Main menu loads, hit continue/load previous save and crash at the loading screen, or after it's done. Don't get to see toon. Wasn't wearing any DD items in the save. Wonder what I'm missing, did a lot of updates: DDa, DDx, DDi, Devious Captures and Deviously Helpless. Used the MCM uninstall/update options where applicable.

 

EDIT: oops forgot scripts from DDi.

 

EDIT: ...aaaand we're back. Ok piercings...

 

EDIT3: I get Devices Underneath twice in the MCM menu (1) and (2), that intentional?

what body are you using ?. is it one that has a pregnant belly ? as in UNP TBBP

 

I am using the UNP TBBP body, and I had to ajust the Nipple Piercing's because it is  not one of the designed for Body meshes, and I do not blame them for not trying to make Items for every single Body mesh out there, that would be an epic Quest, that one could never fill.

 

However if you happen to be using the UNP TBBP body mesh from this link,

I have fixed the Piercing Nif for that body, and will share it. I just did a little Nifskope tweaking

 

only if you have that Body I pointed out, I use it for the pregnancy Mods, and because of the belly weighting it is a little off with the new DD piercings, so I fixed it.

 

place the two Nif files in the zip file in your \Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim\Data\meshes\devious\devices FOLDER, but back up your other two that are there in case it makes things worse

 

It works for the UNP body that link takes you 2, I don't know if it will work for any others.

I'm using UNPB TBBP with belly node. And yeah my piercings float ahead like that. Will try your meshes, although you're using UNP. Worth a shot.

yeah, you have something different, I can tell you how I did the nifskope editing, it is really very easy, but it could also not work if you try any really eratic movements (rotation or scale). But you need to be Reasonable NifSkope Savy

 

1. I used nifskope, loaded each of the Piercing nif, zero, and one. Rotate around, and zoom in,  in the view widow, and get them where you can see them good.

 

2. then clicked on the Piercings to highlight them, and then right clicked on the piercing part you are going to move. you have to do to both the ring, and the soulgem piece. one at a time, and the same amount.

 

3. after right clicking in the drop down menu you select edit, and move the X,Y,Z value to what you are guessing is right, as you do not have the body mesh to aline with. [ I was lucky as I only needed to adjust the "Y" direction.]

 

y >> should be in and out

X >> should be right and left

Z >> should be up and down

 

4. after positioning both pieces to what you feel is right. you need to right click them again, and choose apply, you will get a warning, do it any way choice or not.

 

5. once you have moved, and applied the choices to both pieces of the piercing, and saved both Nif files, (zero, and One)

 

6. you have to go in game, and see if your movements look right.

 

7. remember to move both Piercing nif one, and nif zero the same amount, and also that the up down arrow will move the item in whole number's.

 

8. to move in fractions [ as in -0.1000 ] you need to type that in to the movement amount position.

 

Also if you do any scaling to like bring them closer together, or further apart, That might be a testy thing, but could be done, I am just unsure how well it will work.

 

I mean if you have the body there to look at, it might not be so bad, but you don't and the oval shaping might be really bad, or could be good.

 

9. Also some weighting maps just may not allow this, and you may get really bad results. So back up your original piercingNSoul_0, and piercingNSoul_1>nifs

 

 

[NOTE] There is and inherrent non-Linear Scale problem with adjusting the Breast rings this way.

 

If you re-size your breasts, then everything can go off, and you will have to re adjust them again. This consistancy problem can not be avoided. as far as I know.

Ok I got the vertical plane just about perfect. But when I try to align horizontally, both meshes move either left or right. How do I pick a single mesh?

If I understand you correctly you need to have the rings further apart , or closer together, x will move both  pieces Left or right, which won't work. [the meshes are joined, it would be very difficult for you to try and mess with the vertraces, and move then indivigually]

 

this would need to be done with scaling, and that might not work very well, NifSkope is not great at that { I use it to resize room parts some in the game when modding, but it is flacky}. You will have to play around a bit on that. any advise I give would be gues work if I am not looking at it.

 

But the scaling is done the same way, X will widen them [Actually enlarge them in x direction] , but it is and over all widening, and may not look right.

 

Z will spread them wider vertically, and Y will make them fatter

 

Also when you do this you get closer to breaking the weighting, and then your bounce could be off.

I'm not sure if the piercing scripts are working correctly?

 

Here's the scenario(s). I consoled some DDi piercings (higher number), wore them and got message boxes about them being on and so on. Ran around doing random things, sat and slept. Saw no messages about the piercings during that time.

Got a piercing removal device, removed piercings and got message boxes about it - it looked like the device dested the piercings. Added some DDa piercings to inventory (low number) and put them on. It was a little laggy but I got messages this time too, which I shouldn't as I noticed later. This time I got a nipple event pretty quick followed by a labia piercing event not long thereafter.

Reloaded a save without piercings, added the DDa ones that I thought were now DDi ones, despite the numbers not using the usual scheme. Put them on, no messages so I assumed my previous assumption was wrong and that these were indeed DDa piercings.

Reloaded again, added DDi piercings and wore them, been running around for about an hour and no events.

If you need to confirm if they work I think the easiest way is: get a get a soulgem plug and a belt, put the piercings on and cast a few spells. If they work you should see messages about piercings vibrating along with plugs and stuffs.

 

I think it's just it for now ^^ They don't have any like unique functionality yet but they provide lots of potential to add more stuffs! I'm sure if enough devious minds start brainstorming they'll come up with lots of ideas how to make them more interesting n_~

There is indeed an issue, though it appears to effect the periodic events system as a whole, rather than just the nipple piercing events (Of which there are two). I'm looking in to it now.

 

EDIT: Nope, no issue. Was just a misbehaving test case. The piercing events are functioning normally, for me.

 

@Circ: Are you running Deviously Helpless? If so, make sure that it initialized (The MCM menu is visible / functional). If it's not, that can cause the events system to halt.

Hmm, discussion of body types reminded me to check for other updates while I am re-downloading the family of DD mods.  CBBE also got updated today, though the Nexus servers don't seem to be handling things as well as the LL servers :P

 

Hopefully I will be able to download it soon and hopefully the new CBBE will still be compatible with the CBBE version of the DD gear...

Running DH yes. It's functioning, and I did get events for piercings eventually but maybe I was used to the plug and various other events because the piercing ones are pretty rare, and the fact that I got them with DDa piercings was just a quirk apparently. Well rare and not integrated similarly to some plugs where you'll get sitting events, riding events etc. But then again it's the first release so.

 

Trying to think of possible ideas for future events. Not really working, mainly just thinking of weather and temperature events which vanilla Skyrim doesn't really support.

 

Maybe... blocking a hit with your weapon could trigger something like: You block blah and the vibrations cause you to moan as they reach your excited nipples.

Can some one explain the Devices underneath system to me? I updated to the latest version and set the slot to 50. When I equip stuff however the items don't disappear they just clip through like they always have.

 

I'm guessing I haven't set an option right or something.

Just updated to 2.8.1, and realized that there's a bit of a problem when paired with Devious Interactions (for easy npc equipping), as the gag effect for npcs restricts dialogue. I've looked for other mods that could disable the dialogue restriction but leave in the animation, but haven't found anything. Any thoughts?

Once you read the book from the college library the recipes should be visible under misc when going to a forge.

Has anyone had problems when trying to remove the vaginal piercings, when you have only them equipped? For me it will only give me the options to "put on" or "carry on". If I equip the the nipple piercings then go to take off the vaginal piercings  then I get the options "use tool to remove", "force out" or "carry on". Just seems like a little glitch but thought I'd bring it up. I also get the floating nipple piercings on my cbbe body no mater which body type or slider adjustments, but others have mentioned that. Other wise everything else seems fine, good work otherwise.

Something is wrong with new Integration or Assets. I get cursed plugs from Zed but they are invisible.

 

Ah yes. Those were made back when plugs came in pairs, and have not been updated to use the split meshes. I've added the issue to the to-do list so it can be fixed, in the meantime just ignore it, the invis-plugs won't cause any harm to your game or save.

If you have not done so yet, you will need to tell it which items you want hidden by which armor pieces.  It should have an example of the chastity bra being hidden by armor worn in the body slot by default.

 

Fairly easy to figure out how it works by messing with it, but you will need to know the slot number the game uses for your gear.

I was trying to edit the armbinder script to make the armbinder inescapable( setting required stamina for struggling to 1000 ).

But the compiler gives an error.

I don't know what i did wrong. :/

You are using an old version of SKSE or missing some files from it, that function was introduced in 1.7.1.
