But things not works, for example on Captured Dream shop I can see the slaves chained, so ZaZ AP works, but when I buy something and equip it nothing happends, no menu appear and for example I can't see nothing equiped and I can unequip it with no problems,in theory you need keys, so I'm not sure what I've done bad. And yes, I save and load.

 

 

Sound the same problem but I've a fresh install, when I get on home I want try the save-cleaner but what I need? I see some of then over the net and I remember use one of then year ago, so any links and instruction is appreciated.

 

PD: If the tool reset scripts how affect to the game? I mean technically a script don't store information, only are a sequential instruction so MCM configurations and things like Forgotten Magic leveld spell not be affected right?

 

The mod probably failed to initialize, especially possible if you have many other script-heavy mods doing that the same time. That has been happening with couple of logs posted here. The game just refuses to run more than n amount of scripts at once and intializing multiple script mods is something that can take it over that limit. So way around that is to enable only part of those mods when creating a new character, wait for those mods to start and restart the game with more mods enabled.

 

And yes, scripts do save information about their (the mods) state, which is exactly why they won't work if they fail to initialize properly for example. You can try with some of the save cleaners around to remove any scripts from your save with names starting with 'zad', that should clear any DD scripts from it, and reinstall the mod afterwards.

Like SSME

Skyrim Configulator, an app for ini files, has easy checkbox for threading, which will correctly apply threading for your game so it uses the multicore processer, I have used this with great success.

 

Those two properly applied should give you a whole lot more wiggle room with script heavy games.

I have been getting fatal error since attempting to update to 2.7.6 so i havent been playing skyrim cuz i just didnt want to deal with the annoyance.  now ive updated to 2.8.1 and still getting the same problem.  both times i updated, i uninstalled then made a save without dd and then installed.  paradise halls was leaving alot of stuff in pap log so i tried uninstalling it, nothing changes.  i dont really know what to do, everything was working fine before trying to update to 2.7.6.  i would like to get this working again.

I have always wondered if the quests that control the scripts are not running if starting them manually would get them to work. I know that the MCM menu is controlled by zadConfigQuest and the main scripts are run by zadQuest, anyone willing to try startquest <questname> and see if it works?

zadquest works, I've stopped & started it a few times manually to get the properties filled again after breaking it with fiddling around ;) Config quest should work too, though never tried it and not sure how skyui reacts to that, would need at least save & load. Although same rules apply to starting quests from console as anywhere else, if some required aliases can't be filled the quest won't start.

I was just wondering if things started out of order and that kept the Config quest from starting properly if this could get it to start. Most people that have the issue of it not appearing say everything else works. I would try it myself but I have not had it fail to start.

After a few attempts wiht removing scripts seem it works, I'm doing the second quest right now and I have some question about the mod itself

1- On MCM when I add Device Animation its say "Done", but when I leave and return is marked as "Not Done", maybe I only need do it one time but for example on ZaZ once you add the animations keep marked as Registered.

2- About Inmersive first person, how it works? I mean, I've IFT installed and I use it, I have a profile for sexlab and use the plugin to autoload this profile on sex scenes. What I need to make it work with DD?

3- There is some way to make events messages stay a bit longer? Some times is hard to read what happen, on combat for example, text fade to quickly.

4- I notice that sometimes the equip order in quest script do weird thing, for example equip first the plug and then the belt, result in unequip the plug and you cant equip it manually, I always save before talk with NPCs but is something usual? Or maybe because script heavy load?

5- As I say I only done the first quest and now I'm searching Zed's items, my Arousal lvl reach 100 because I can't reduce it, I suppose while you've equip chastity belt u arousal lvl can't reduce or something is wrong?

6- I usually play with "set timescale to 7", how much affect change the default value, 20, in devices events?

7- I don't understand the differences between Blindfold options, need some extra information XD.

How do I charge the soul gem for Sergius' quest? I tried trapping souls but that doesnt work, just says no soul gem large enough, even for skeevers.

 

Here's how the Quest works:

 

The plug needs to be handed in when it is fully charged. Sergius won't do anything untill then, and you can't remove the belt, it's unlocked by a script attached to the quest.

 

The plug does not start to charge untill you are at arousal 100, so you need to get aroused. There are many ways you can do that, but if you want a good shortcut: Click on the belt in your inventory so the pop-up options menu comes up, and then choose "use brute force" or something called similar. This will make your char try to pull the thing off with her hands, but she can't. She does get very aroused by doing it though! So do that a few times and you'll hit that 100 arousal fairly quickly.

 

Once at arousal 100, the plug is charging, every ingame houer you'll get a message implying that it's getting worse (it starts with "you could swaer it just moved", and then suddenly it becomes hot, and so on), that's how you know it's charging. Using the wait function or sleeping does not let you skip that, even sleeping for 24 houers will only count as 1 houers worth of charge.

 

It is fully charged, and needs to be handed in to Sergius, when the thing starts to vibrate strongly and your char keeps going into the "Horny" idle animation. You will know it when you see it.

You will want to be close to the guy when this happens, you only get a short window between the thing going off, and it forcing you to climax, and you need to speak to him before you climax or the quest reset's itself and you'll have to try again.

2- I mean, if I'm on original first person view and some animation start, like rubbing the chastity belt my view is changed to third person, not IFP, for example the plugin for sexlab enable one custom trigger to bind in your profile just for sexlab, and in patch notes say

 

"Added "Immersive First Person" config option for switching to third person camera for animations."

 

So I'm a bit confused XD.

3- I don't mean  show it in other place, for example you can put in a pop up with "ok", but break the inmersion, the problem is the message fade to quickly, other menssages don't fade so fast XD.

5- Hahaha I mean, not reduce to 0 in one action but maybe a bit when you do certain thing, but there is no problem, just curiosity ^^

6- I noticed so many events in short time, so yes, i need increase the config bar a bit, near 4 if i don't do bad numbers.

7- I hope reach that point soon XD With Captured Dream is easy to buy stuff, but I deactivate it in order to reduce my scripts. I read about a new version with more stuff, maybe I try it when is released, but more stuff mean more script XD.

However, I wanted to say, I'm finding it incredibly annoying that you have to give in to Urag at the end of the forbidden tome, my current character has a will of iron and doesn't beg. Ever, even in her current condition. Also, she's a raging lesbian, just like her mom. SO, she would sooner simply murder him and take the keys, but since that doesn't work as he's a quest giver and therefore essential, I'd prefer the ability to pickpocket it or the ability to learn zed's mind control spell or some creative way to get around it. Thas all I wanted to say, hope things are going well for ya, peace!

My game is crashing to desktop every time I try to load a save from the menu. The only way I can load saves is by starting a new game, and then loading a save. Every time it crashes, the last item in the papyrus log is Devious Devices ([slamainscr <sla_Main (12042D62)>]: found Devious Devices - Assets.esm). When I disable DD and all the mods that depend on it in MO, I can load saves fine. So, it seems to be related to DD. Tried reinstalling DD but no dice.

DD is beeing called by "slamainscr" as a dependancy when the game crases, not by DD itself, DD scripts start with "zad_" or "zadx_" in the title. Seems to me the problem is likely with another mod which has a dependancy (soft or hard) on DDa, not with the core DD mods themselves.

 

Check your mods for anything using an "slamainscr" identifier in it's scripts, and then try updating/reinstalling it. And if worse comes to worse, you can try asking the author of said mod for insights on the problem (i'm not sure what mod it is, the identifier doesen't ring a bell with me).

 

 

EDIT: Come to think of it, the SLA identifier could refer to SL-Aroused. You should check that your Aroused install is up to date, and probably do the same for Sexlab and the DD mods whilst you're at it just to be on the safe side.

Excuse me, I have an issue with the armbinder on NPCs.

 

It seems that when I give my follower (or other npcs) the armbinder, they equip it and their bound idle animation plays normally.

 

However, I have several issues after a while:

 

 

1. Npc's can wear the armbinder, however, their bound animation (hands behind back) gets overriden every time they scratch or something (when they play another random idle animation).

 

After that, they walk normally, their lower hands are invisible and their armbinder is still equipped.

 

2. Devious devices (armbinders, gags) are not functioning on npc's. They can wear it, but it doesn't bind them or gag them. They can attack normally (with partially invisible hands as mentioned above)

 

3. All the devious devices equipment perfectly works only on my player character.

 

Help is greatly apreciated.

Do you use a follower framework mod? I use AFT and it allows you to select an option called something like: NPC doesn't auto relax. Selecting this prevents them from interacting with world objects and breaking their bindings.

 

Also, there is an option in the Devious Devices MCM for the number of "slotted" NPCs. By default I think it's set to 0. For each follower you want to have bound, set that number up by one. This helps the devices work as intended.

 

I do this. I have a blindfolded, gagged, collared, plugged, belted and armbound follower with me, carrying all my heavy stuff in a big backpack. In combat her arms will sometimes flicker out of the armbinder as she tries to ready her fists, but they always pop back in within a second or two. She also picks up weapons lying around close by and tries to equip those, but with the same result. I confiscate those after each fight. :P

I have AFT this is the way to go!

 

I also had a base follower for a while bound in this way carrying my loot for Lydia and I.  A base follower will function well with AFT no idle chatter as long as "Follower Commentary Mod" is not in Load Order....So the gag gets some functionality, tried it with Sophia mod but it doesn't work its a shame cause after so many "You want to talk to me" bs I just want to gag her and make her stfu.

 

AFT lets you tell a Follower to stay in place somewhere but don't use the pose options or they will break your armbinder struggles lolz I have a follower staying near the bed constantly struggling with her toys.

 

Lydia loves what I've done with our house guests.

How do I charge the soul gem for Sergius' quest? I tried trapping souls but that doesnt work, just says no soul gem large enough, even for skeevers.

 

Here's how the Quest works:

 

The plug needs to be handed in when it is fully charged. Sergius won't do anything untill then, and you can't remove the belt, it's unlocked by a script attached to the quest.

 

The plug does not start to charge untill you are at arousal 100, so you need to get aroused. There are many ways you can do that, but if you want a good shortcut: Click on the belt in your inventory so the pop-up options menu comes up, and then choose "use brute force" or something called similar. This will make your char try to pull the thing off with her hands, but she can't. She does get very aroused by doing it though! So do that a few times and you'll hit that 100 arousal fairly quickly.

 

Once at arousal 100, the plug is charging, every ingame houer you'll get a message implying that it's getting worse (it starts with "you could swaer it just moved", and then suddenly it becomes hot, and so on), that's how you know it's charging. Using the wait function or sleeping does not let you skip that, even sleeping for 24 houers will only count as 1 houers worth of charge.

 

It is fully charged, and needs to be handed in to Sergius, when the thing starts to vibrate strongly and your char keeps going into the "Horny" idle animation. You will know it when you see it.

You will want to be close to the guy when this happens, you only get a short window between the thing going off, and it forcing you to climax, and you need to speak to him before you climax or the quest reset's itself and you'll have to try again.

 

 

seems to be broken for me, never makes it past the vibrates strongly part before stopping abruptly.

is there a way to advance it past that point thought the console? failing that, perhaps cancel it?

Thanks for the input; that seems to have been it. My Aroused was up to date, but reinstalling it was the answer.

For some reason, the Forbidden Tome quest shows completed, but it doesn't seem to be.  Urag did his thing, and I found Zed.  Zed "spoke" a bit, then no more dialog, but he kept "talking".  My character has had the chastity belt on forever, and no found key unlocks it, from what I understand.  I've spoken with another guy at the college, he said he couldn't do anything until the chastity belt was removed.

 

Just wondering if the quest is broken, or I'm missing something.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.  

 

Phenomenal mod, but it's driving me whack.  The DD-Loot mod drives me bananas, since I can no longer run with my bow ready with those danged boots on.

Zed gives you a quest to search Dweamer Ruins for more "artifacts." The search locations depend on your DLC and worst case scenario you might need to go into a ruin that is only access-able via the main quest of Dragonborn DLC.  Locations in Solstien don't appear when your in Skyrim.  There will be 3 sites and 3 pickups that are usually very easy to get too.

 

You should check your quest log.

Not a complaint, just a thought - but has any thought been given to lowering the time it takes to struggle free of the armbinder? I ask because it gets pretty boring, despite getting to see your usually naked PC struggling. You're already in a big heap of trouble if something aggro like a dragon shows up.

The time window is VERY short--far TOO short. I have been standing directly in front of Sergius before when the vibrating started, and it took longer to open dialoue and advance to the dialogue opton to end the quest, than it did to climax and prevent me ending the quest. Very frustrating. Also, having dialogue open with him and your mouse hovering over the end quest dialogue option doesn't help either, as it won't recognize it as charged (ostensibly because you started dialogue with him before it was.

 

You need to be QUICK, and don't even think about trying this while gagged or with any other mods that inject additional dialogue at the beginning which might take you longer to say "I'm back!"

 

Really hoping the mod author fixes this. We need a much bigger time window on this so it's less broken.

Its not installing onto skyUI, I have all requirements but its not installing into the game.

 

I've experienced this issue before relating to load order. It doesn't work in my case if I'm using Mod Organizer's LOOT to sort the load order, unless I enable only a few mods at a time, and wait for DD to load before loading more. Very tiring.

 

It seems to work better when I use BOSS and NMM, though. You do still need to (I think) wait several minutes for the first slew of mods to load up, then save, exit, and reload for DD to be fully functional.

 

Anyway double check your dependencies and load order. barring that, provide logs.
