Site Feedback

I have a question in regards to nudity mods involving Bannerlord, there was recently a mod that was released onto the site for Bannerlord which gave males nude models. The issue is, the game has limitations to how Nudity is implemented. I was never able to download the mod. From what I could tell, as with other nude model replacement mods, it replaces the 16+ aged body and textures. Which I am unsure if it could be circumvented with programming, so only 18+ could be allowed. The game doesn't allow you to play at ages under 18, I'm pretty sure it crashes the game if you do. Its really complicated with the limitations of the body. The mod only edits models and textures which is important because Bannerlord isn't the most stable game on the planet, and editing or adding settings/scripts can break the game in future updates and or break other mods. I was hoping you could clear up whether or not the limitations could be forgiven and allow the mod to exist.

FINE.

And APPRECIATE a board for Feedback, Suggestions and possible bug reports. :)

I haven't tested it recently.  But during the past year or so, large file uploads into the Download Manager would unfortunately have a Prefix number attached.  As an example, I have a a screenshot of the Download Page from my upload of Claudia's Little Secret found in this link >HERE<

Spoiler

Example.png

Within the example, you will see underlined in red, the prefix numbers of which I speak.  And last time it was brought up, Ashal said these prefix numbers shouldn't even be visible or part of the download. These numbers used solely by the forum download manager system alone.  And of the files above,

I have uploaded filespanning archives, so they do need to share the same name, and the prefix numbers are basically interfering with that.  Those downloading would need to manually edit the filenames... and there will be those that don't get it.  AND... this is not the only upload that holds files with the prefix numbers, my upload for DarkBloodlines, for Children's Annuad and others as well.

So before I attempt re-upload corrections, has this been repaired?

Signature images cannot be huge, and usually we do not accept animated gifs. If you have something very big just report.

At the end this applies also to text if the space that will be required is huge and there is no spoiler.

I mean, if this is somewhere we can dump suggestions then I got a few QoL gripes with the way mod pages are on LL. Some things I would love to see are:

  • The ability to manually reorganise preview images
  • The ability to manually rename and reorder files and external links in the downloads list
  • The ability to save drafts of mod page updates
  • Previewing new mod version uploads - I've had files above 100MB get corrupted when posted as a direct download, forcing me to immediately update again

Also can we get content filters for the main / downloads etc. pages please? I really don't care about Sims shit.

There are actually some rules and dictates about the signature, including the height.  And this is established in the RULES (clickable) topic by Ashal herself [fourth rule]:

Quote

Forum signatures should not be larger than 250 pixels high or 600 pixels wide. They must not contain any affiliate links, or links to paysites, and must be static (no gif). Signatures are allowed to contain pornographic content, as long as it is not anything deemed hardcore, which is up to the judgement of the site staff. A certain amount of leeway in regards to signature sizes or avatars is allowed here, the most important thing is to simply not make your signature overly intrusive or distracting.

Note that there IS leeway as she did state "A certain amount of leeway in regards to signature sizes ..." is in the statement.  Mine is roughly 220x800 (dangit).  But most of mine is basically "Hey, here's some help files...  oh, and my work"

Using this side more and more it would be nice to have a feature or search option where it shows all attached files from comments in one topic.

Take any bodymesh mod for instance. A lot of texture edits will be posted as comment in the topic of that mod. Or as another example: script fixes or xml edits for older mods might get posted as comments by users. (I mean, at least that's what I've been doing :D)

Maybe sth. like this already exists, then please point me in the right direction.

I want to say thank you guys for the site and all you've done and all you do. Thank you.

If I had a request, it would simply be that you continue doing what you're doing.  You guys rock like the Rolling Stones and you've got it going on like the Kardashian's think they do.

Thank you to everyone who is even remotely involved in keeping this wonderful site going. Thank you.

Forum search function is... uh... lets just say there's a lot to be desired. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't and there doesn't seem to be any logic behind it. I mean, I can search for example a topic or a subforum for a specific term and the results vary wildly. Even searching my own profile is wonky. Say I want to find a post I made several months back in order to refer someone to it. More often then not I get "no results" even though I know what I wrote. Same with topic or subforum-wide searches. More often than not I just google stuff and sometimes I find what I want but that's not reliable.

I know the forum is old, most likely had many rewrites and indexing is probably busted, but is this something that's a known issue and part of the package or am I just unlucky?

Based on posts in other threads, it seems like there was some site maintenance today.

The "Download" button at the top is not working as it was.  Before, if I clicked the little down arrow icon next to Downloads, it would let me choose which category to go to, i.e. Skyrim, Fallout, Sims4, etc.  Now it only gives the option for "Downloads" and brings me to a page with a few recently updated files spread across all categories and a couple of mod reviews.  Not sure if that was an intended change or not, but from there I didn't notice an easy way to get to game specific download pages.

The button seems to be working normally for me. Try clearing your cache and/or try a different browser and let me know if that solves it.

Something interesting:

If I clear cache and am signed out the Download button works as it should.  As soon as I sign back in I have the same issue.

This happened on both my default Google Chrome, and also on MS Edge.

Have this as well, signed in the download button has no games listed under it (skyrim, skyrim SE etc)

Signing out the download button is back to normal and has games listed

Cleared cookies/site data and signed back in and still the same, using firefox

Tried accessing a download page from a mods forum topic and that also errors - pretty sure this mod would be there SexLab SE - Sex Animation Framework v1.65 - 11/08/22 but clicking view file takes me to

Oops!

We could not locate the item you are trying to view.

Same with another mod i tried via its forum topic
