Zadil Posted November 19, 2013 Author Posted November 19, 2013 I hope you do get a concrete offer one way or another then, that'd be the best case scenario. If not, then i guess it's a choice between plague or cholera, it's a no win scenario, many potential users of the mod simply won't switch bodies just for one mod (or at all, if they have strong prefrences one way or another). Indeed, although there's a third option which is the one I was hoping to avoid, but the numbers leave little room for any kind of satisfactory compromise...
Zadil Posted November 19, 2013 Author Posted November 19, 2013 Poll's over and the votes have indicated for some time now that there's almost equal demand for both body types with good arguments for choosing either of them, meaning that dropping support for one body would negatively affect more users than I had initially assumed. Conclusion: Instead of forcing half of the current user-base to take an arrow to the knee, DD will continue to support both body types (and no, that doesn't include bodyslide) at the cost of update frequency and, to some degree, quality.I'll create a new poll shortly where you guys will be able to chose what item you want to see included in the next release based on some of the suggestions I have received.

I am pretty sure, you will support bodyslide as soon as you have tried the new outfit studio . To test outfit studio I just converted the padded bra to bodyslide. I have no experience in modeling and it only took me a few minutes to convert the padded bra. I have attached the result for you to see. I think the result looks astonishingly good despite putting hardly any effort into it. The only problem is that BBP/TBBP breasts are clipping through the bra when moving (to counter the problem one could make the bra bigger to have sufficient space between bra and breasts, which is easily possible in outfit studio). And it seems to be equally easy to convert to any body type for which a conversion slider exist. PaddedBraBodyslide.rar

I'm eager to take a look at it after what I've heard of it earlier. It might very well turn out to be a game changer. Thanks for the bra sample.
lordescobar666 Posted November 19, 2013 Posted November 19, 2013 Oh, has outfit studio been released already? There is no official release yet. But their private alpha went public as soon as a google bot visited their projekt site (They should have known better since google is their host). I think it is definitely a game changer.
Coopervane Posted November 19, 2013 Posted November 19, 2013 Conclusion: Instead of forcing half of the current user-base to take an arrow to the knee, DD will continue to support both body types (and no, that doesn't include bodyslide) at the cost of update frequency and, to some degree, quality. I am both relieved and a little sad. Continued support for both bodies is a major asset for the mod, not many do it and it's always appreciated when one does. Thank you Zadil But i also know it's not what you had hoped to do, and this was not the ideal outcome (a partner in crime to do the conversions would have been the best outcome, but alas). Here's hoping this Outfit-Studio thing is as promising as it looks. If it can make the conversions go much easier, then that would be a huge help.
Zadil Posted November 19, 2013 Author Posted November 19, 2013 Ok, let's try something here. I've made a new poll where you can vote on the (single) item you want to see added to the mod (anybody remember Morrowinds character creation questionaire?)The concept is simple: first item that gets, say... 300 votes will be next in line. Conclusion: Instead of forcing half of the current user-base to take an arrow to the knee, DD will continue to support both body types (and no, that doesn't include bodyslide) at the cost of update frequency and, to some degree, quality. In that case you'll be happy to know (I certainly am) that another modder (b3lisario) has since then offered to take care of the UNP/UNPB conversions, so it looks like there won't have to be any quality sacrifices after all.
DistrictGlamour Posted November 19, 2013 Posted November 19, 2013 Aw hell yeah, an armbinder would be an awesome addition. A bit of a technical feat too.Could you elaborate on what you mean by a "head harness", Zadil?
Zadil Posted November 19, 2013 Author Posted November 19, 2013 Aw hell yeah, an armbinder would be an awesome addition. A bit of a technical feat too. Could you elaborate on what you mean by a "head harness", Zadil? Sure. Imagine an ordinary ball or ring gag but with additional straps that pass below the chin and over the head of the wearer - essentially a human bridle.

All the choices are pretty awesome then. I went with armbinder because its the next best thing to a straitjacket, but I'd really love to see them all. Is this vote determining what actually gets made, or the order that you do them in?
guyver Posted November 19, 2013 Posted November 19, 2013 i really hope for the order, because they sounds all amazing!

Is this vote determining what actually gets made, or the order that you do them in? A bit of both. For now I'll just focus on the item that gets picked the most since I don't have time to work on them all, but depending on how this interactive voting system is received I might list the devices that didn't make it this time in a subsequent poll alongiside some new options once the initial item is done.
DistrictGlamour Posted November 19, 2013 Posted November 19, 2013 i really hope for the order, because they sounds all amazing! I'd be fine to me if the head cage got dropped-- unless it was compatible with the head harness. I love me elaborate costuming! I'll fill every slot!
ZaZ Posted November 19, 2013 Posted November 19, 2013 Well the ArmBinder is way ahead , I think I will make about 10 animations/Poses atleast , Stand , Kneel , Sit For it Cheers

I worked on some concept models for a few of the choices and the armbinder in particular looks quite promising.
Pinute Posted November 20, 2013 Posted November 20, 2013 Armbinder was second choice for me, nipple clamps first. But clamps would really be hard - which (t)bbp motion, if any, would they support? I'm looking forward to the next iteration of this mod - the first quest set was quite stimulating!

Nipple clamps, or at least chains, already exist too.

But clamps would really be hard - which (t)bbp motion, if any, would they support? I'm looking forward to the next iteration of this mod - the first quest set was quite stimulating! The few test models I made don't support breast motions at this point since they are based on the default cbbe body, but if nipple clamps were to come out top I'd look into how to make them compatible and implement it if possible. Based on the little I've heard it should suffice to skin them to a tbbp supported skeleton, but I might be mistaken. I'm pleased to hear that you've enjoyed the first questline. I'm currently working on the dialogue for Min's next scripting project and hope that you'll find it equally enticing.
Warrunner Posted November 20, 2013 Posted November 20, 2013 Came back to Skyrim modding after a while and saw how advanced Sexlab got, decided to install it all and play with it and, I have to say, the quest line associated with this was a pleasant surprise. Really, the whole thing is. If you are taking suggestions though, lemme say this: A head-harness with pluggable gag that had support for beast races would make you a great hero in the eyes of many.

Then I'm afraid my honorary statue will have to wait. The chance of adding support for beast races is close to zero and is becoming even less likely with every new item that is added since a lot of the included content would have to be completely reworked, most notably the chastity belts. Out of curiosity though, I would be interested to know if there are many people here who would prefer to play as a beast character. Armbinder was second choice for me, nipple clamps first.
