Would it be possible to make chastity belts that accommodate the tails of Kajiit and Argonians?

That would be technically possible I guess, but is unlikely to happen. Reason being that the contents of this mod simply don't target beast races and I'd rather spend the time working on new equipment pieces than reworking all of the existing ones.

The mod has been updated to version 2.5.0
 

Changes include several new textures for the soulgem plugs and new keyword.
Also, the mod now requires the SexLab Framework to ensure better compatibility with some of its scripts.

Keep in mind that this mod doesn't add any ingame content. That part is handled by Min's Devious Devices - Integration.

Hi Zandil,

 

Very interesting mod, however, couple things I have noticed while going over your nifs, which I hope you will find useful.

 

1) I see that you have included normal maps under BSLightingShader, but did not activate the normal calculation in NiTriShapeData. It's a common issue with 3ds export, where normals are deactivated in the nifs upon export.

 

To enable, go to "NiTriShapeData" under each NiTriShape, change "BS Num UV Sets" from 1 to 4097, and you should be able to see tangent and bitangent calculations show up (no longer grey).

 

Afterwards, right click on the NiTrishape, select "Mesh -> Update Tangent Space" to apply the tangent vectors.

 

 

2) Mostly a personal preference. For armor pieces that don't involve arms/head, I prefer to use the skin modifier in 3ds instead of bethesda's dismemberskin. 3ds' skin modifier is much easier to work with, and much less fussy about things such as correct biped map/assignment (i.e. no more crash on export due to dismember mapping).

Yes, someone brought up nipple clamps in the Integration thread and it seems like a fairly simple and fun thing to do, so I'll see about including some in a future update. Might throw in a few piercings as well.

Im using the devices for added fetish look, and for fun deviousnes to my char.

Shes running around biting people on the neck all the time and needs to be put on her place  :shy: .

Thanks for the references and the screens (if you upload them somewhere in higher resolution I will add some of them to the mod description). It's always helpful to provide some visual examples when requests are made and these items seem like they would go well with the theme of the mod and existing equipment pieces. I'll take them into consideration for future updates once I'm done working on some other devious items (one of them might help with the biting problem of your character...).

So far, when it comes to clipping and usage with outfits I have had the most success with the UNP/UNPB bodies. So far the CBBE bodies have so many variations it's hard to find outfits that work. Bodyslide helps but there are many items that aren't compatible with it. Unfortunately some of the better fetishwear is for CBBE.

Looking great, Aegis. The polished look suits it quite well.

I'll add some of the images to the mod description with a note regarding the custom textures.

 

I've still got to a thing or two left to learn about normals - the v1 textures (and the mod as a whole, really) involved a lot of firsts in many areas. As such I welcome the approval and criticism of someone else with expertise in that area.

@Zandil, you are doing great. It can be quite tricky to get meshes into Skyrim, and even then many won't render properly (skyrim's environment mapping method warps the cubemap for some reason)...

I saw you talking that will focus on the head, so I thought and I am giving some ideas:
 
extreme neck corset that can go from the neck to the height of the mouth, thus preventing the character talking and causing damage to stamina.
 
I found many more I think it will help give you an idea:

Thanks for your suggestions and visual examples (ones like the first one that show the same item from multiple angles are especially helpful). Yes, I plan to include some headgear in one of the upcoming updates, although the specifics are still in development. But I'll take note of your ideas and keep them in mind for future versions.

Hi, I've installed this mod and followed all the steps, but when i try to equip the chastity belt and plugs, it doesn't show on the body even though it shows that it is equipped in the menu, and I can un-equip it as well. Is there any way to fix this?

This mod serves as a base for others and doesn't introduce any in-game items by itself, so you shouldn't actually be able to access them. For that you'll need Min's Integration mod, which also includes the scripts to make the items interactive.

As you can see I've started a poll to figure out what female body you guys would prefer to see new content for.

The mod started out supporting the default versions of both UNP and CBBE, but making the items compatible for multiple bodies is a tedious process requiring time that could be better spend elsewhere (like working on new equipment pieces). Therefore I'm considering dropping support for one body and focus on just a single one instead for future devious items - that's where the poll comes in.
So I encourage everybody who's currently using this mod to let me know by voting (and/or commenting) which female body you want to see supported in the future.
