I suppose I can assume that if people run sofo, they also run the sexout version of AKH. So I'll just set the "NotNow" if you look for it. I can't block the entire cell or the actor in this case.

You can check a ref is valid with IsFormValid then IsReference , no ? (Though reading the source for IsFormValid makes me nervous, any one want to test :) )

New Beta - July 25 - 2014

 

Requires the Data pack from the OP.

 

Changes:

 

Main AKH:

- Now requires NVSE 4.

- A shitload of misc tweaks and fixes since December 10.

- Rewrote the item loss script to work better. I can now associate ammo for DLC weapons (+ any 3rd party) without needing the extension

- Supports a not yet available third party TTW extension...

 

DLC Extension:

- The DLC extension is now redundant (harmless to load, but it does nothing)

 

Sexout Extension:

- Now checks the "SO:NotNow" NX, the sexout restricted cell list, and the sexout restricted actor list for the player, and blocks all KOs for compatability with third party mods.

- Some misc tweaks/fixes I can't remember.

 

 

Please report any issues.

New version V1.2 in OP

 

- New Dream (not sexout). Its one I've had planned for a while and is my favorite one so far...

- New Data Pack.

- Readme now included, gives FAQ and spoilers- how to unlock all dreams.

- KOs are blocked by SO:NotNow NX on player, and sexout restricted actor and cell checks

- DLC extension is now redundant (I do all it did and more from the main plugin now)

- A whole bunch of misc tweaks/fixes

I had to uninstall this as I would get stuck too often.  Usually I would wake up in Docs having been robbed. he gives me some basic equipment.  I go to leave and am attacked by ghouls.  Usually too many for me to kill I die again and the game resets me to the door trying to get out of docs.  an endless loop that I have to load a previous save to escape.  It is just unfortunate I forget too save very often.  Otherwise a fun mod.

Hint:

 

 

You have a .44 magnum, there's armor hidden in the bath tub, a convenient shotgun materializes on the floor and Doc Mitchel has a grenade launcher in his pocket. Using VATS may be helpful too.

New Beta V1.3

 

- Rewrote the item loss system which fixes possible issue with losing non-playable items
- Rewrote the companion code, lost items no longer end up in player's inventory, non-vanilla companions will no longer
  potentially lose their non-playable gear (eg: companion weapons). If using NVSE 4.5.6 (optional) non-vanilla companions
  will no longer fade in and out during dreams when you go through doors.
- Hotkeys are rebound after sleep/non-rescue dreams (not rescue dreams) if you use NVSE 4.5.7 (optional and not publically available yet)
- All items are now re-equipped after sleep/non-rescue dream rather than just armor/weapon/hat, and it is one equip per
  frame to prevent potential CTD equipping all at once (gotta love gamebryo engine ;)).
- Added MCM option to re-enable mod after Hoover Dam, if using a freeplay mod.
- Added a console cheat to print the location of all lost items to console (Player.AddItem XX021C99)
- Rewrote some other misc code to take advantage of NVSE 4

- Updated included ReadMe.

Yes, although I've never used it. The MCM option will appear after the battle starts. Its untested. Re-enabling before the battle ends is probably a bad idea.

Thanks great mod.

Played a bid with the new update and it´s working good so far even the redressing after non rescue dreams.

Coudn´t check fading non vanilla companions and hotkey remaping (not having the needed companions and nvse now).

However i couldn´t get the (re)-enabling after Hoover Dam to work.

The MCM option appears when fighting at the dam and the message of the mod disabling for the moment is shown too, but the mcm option seems to have no effect. Tested activating it durring Hoover Dam and after it

but the mod won´t reactivate. Savegames after the endgame don´t show the option at all and the mod is not working in them only savegames before Hoover Dam seem have the mod active (Playing the no gods no masters endgame with Yes man as my ally).

Tried different mods that allow to continue after the end ( cage and continue after ending) without a change.

Okay, I haven't tested the post-hoover dam option because I don't have the mod. I probably made a mistake, I'll take a look tomorrow.

Looks like I forgot to actually restart the main quest after setting the hoover dam option, so it didn't have any affect.

 

This should fix it. (.esm only, requires data from OP)

 

You can check by typing "GetQuestRunning XX000ADD" and seeing if it returns 1.

Tested with the new Version from 10. September. The quest is running (see console debug ) after reactivation in save games after the Endgame but no blackout happens when under the set hp limit

(no console message shown ) and no knockout.

Another thing i noticed is on waiting/sleeping (see picture below) no dreams happen.

Console either shows:       " AKH: No sleep dream"

 

or:                        "AKH:Sleep Dream Starting "

followed by:        "AKH:No sleep dreams available"

 

Savegames before Hoover Dam work both for sleep dreams and damage blackout.

Ah fuck. Its been a while since I wrote the code for the main stuff. I forgot there are 2 quest to start (missed the one that triggers KOs).

 

With this version you will have to toggle the MCM for 'continue after hoover dam' off, close main menu and wait 10 seconds, then toggle it back on again, and it should work.

 

(You can test if its working by doing "Player.GetAV health", then "player.damageAV Health XX" so you have only a little health left, you should see the blacking out message)

On the sleep dreams, I changed it so you only get non-repeatable dreams from the main mod, but you still get the sexout ones, except I had a bug where it was only 80% pick one of them, or you got the erroneous "no sleep dreams available"

Thanks this update works both for sleep/wait dreams and damage knockouts.  I couldn´t see the blacking out message (did the damage av command to 90% damage in one go) but the dream loaded. Haven´t checked sexout ko/rape dreams. Is there a way to initiate them per console?

 

 

 

 

Edit: New nvse 4.5.7 installed. The Hotkeys are restored after wait/sleep Dreams. :shy:

Cool. There isn't really an easy way to trigger sex dreams via console. They come via the same script as the main ones, and the sexout trigger is a post-sex spell. Meaning they should work if the others do though.

Happened two times, first time while attempting to sleep, second one while using the "wait" command with Novac's Bathhouse (your over Soliciting mod).

 

Started the dream "Investigate your mind" (or something similar).

My char, naked, stuck on the stage, 3rd person view behind. Not able to move, change visual (except the fly camera), anything. Forced to exit (brutal) with CTRL+ALT+DEL both times.

 

Suggestions?

 

Other dreams (the two with The King, for example, or the one Nightmare in Nipton) were fine, btw.

Had the same problem one time too in a sleep dream. Happened when i tried to move right at the start of the dream (the stage one too). Trying again (same dream) worked when i didn´t touch the controls this time( might have been a stressed proccesor at the first time??)

 

First time dreams worked fine so far a repeated dream (playing the after hoover dam version) however had problems two times.

First a repeat (might be not a repeat had many savegames branches for testing only :blink: ) of the nipton dream resulted in no legionares or dogs spawned but i could end it at least. The second time was a repeat ( this time i´m sure) of the vault 21 dream with the essential spore carriers and plants. ( Increased wasteland spawns added an sentry bot to that to keep them unconscious :o ) but this time the key did not appear (in its old container or any other) after talking to suny smiles.

 

edit:

Couldn´t repeat the freeze on dream start so far but i tried enableplayercontrols that one time and it didn´t work. If it happens again i check for the other command.

 

edit2: about the nipton dream it might have been caused by me. I killed the legionnaries ( wasn´t i supposed to kill them ?) by the mightiest weapon in the game (the console :angel:, ok not fair , it was a reflex because my toon was unarmed at that moment ) before they reached me in the first encounter. The second encounter of that dream had the wastelander corpses and sunny smiles corpse with respawned inventories (the lotery tickets respawned too). Both encounters ended after i could use one of the doors (several trials per door needed, some message aboud stucked door, ). Not sure if there was a quest message.

 

edit3 ^_^: Had another dream on wait ( alias kick in the head :rolleyes: ) the stage one ( a second time, should be a not repeatable dream?!). This time the player frooze again(only camera moveable up and down) enableplayercontrols didn´t help but setrestrained 0 did. However there were other problems with that dream the sunny smiles cazador was the only npc there and my char was naked with an empty inventar.

Seems to happen (rarely) randomly. Other dreams were ok.

If the frozen thing happens again, could you try entering into console "player.setrestrained 0" and "enableplayercontrols" and let me know if it fixes it. I think there is an engine bug that can mean these can get stuck, but I may be able to avoid it with a delay.

 

The Nipton dream should not be repeatable, and if there were no legionnaries it sounds like it did. This is bizarre because it implies the GetQuestCompleted function isn't working.

 

The Vault 21 dream is repeatable, you need to talk to Sunny before the key is available, and it is in one ~5 possible containers.

 

I've been trying to stop dreams on waiting for a while, and I'm using 3 different functions to check already. Gaahh, damn engine. I'll look into it some more.
