First of all, "AKH" is my lazy acronim for "Another Kick in the Head", sorry.
I've seen use of banning\restricting lists in your code, but this section seems unchanged from jl28 to aug30 versions.
I had not played aug30 version yet (sorry again), and solution i had offered is "in my style" - lazy patch.
Brutal Rapers is single plugin i have (but in many versions) seen checking SexoutListBannedActor.
Now i see the same code in "SexoutSexAssault.esp" (sen03 and previous versions).

If you are concerned about making sex scene with PC while she added to SexoutListBannedActor, i think, "framework" will not refuse your call for SexoutNGBegin: i looked into Sexout.esm and found none checks on that list - only initial declaration.

(all experience got from aug30 version, brutal rapers are my tweaked version, AKH loaded after all other sexout mods, followed only by MadOpenWorld and MCM)

1) got three events (all from "player.damageAV health", after i failed to produce them in battle - had couple of ctd fighting ghouls and scorpions near Ivanpah, but i think there's no AKH influence): everytime message "blacking out" pops quickly, but nothing occurs in next 5-10 seconds. Event progressed after my attempts of activity - activating containers, talk to Cass, even "Save" - then blackout came and so all other. Messages about equiping inside-dream cloths and such pops very late, and will be good to cease them completely.
All three had 'extended'/sex scenes (mortimer-man), two switched to reality at Mojave Outpost and one at Cotton-cove slave pen.

In two events (one @MO and one @Cc) after "returning to reality" pc remained with almost no controls -- were available only 'jump'(both keybrd&mouse), console(tilda) and 'camera around' by mouse.
Key for 'activate' produced only beeps (as "unavailable"), even if nearby npc\object was in the center of view and "named".
"EnablePlayerControls", "TFC" do nothing, "getRestrained" returned "not restrained".
"Rescuer" legioner standed still, with no speech;
"rescurer" ranger Jackson repeatedly does "Moving to player (retry)" (was in console log) while being in 1-2 metres from pc.

In all events Cass follower was striped from all except her "special" weapon (her "special" clothes were removed earlier, by me).
After 'rescuing' pc got some things what were in Cass inventory (it may be intended, but seems strange for me).
Also i disagree with intention to "burn" _all_ misc and aid items - there are many precious and unique for me in my game.
Even tranfering them to some trader can be more acceptable.
Or leaving at "defeat" place in some dufflebag (with script moving it to store cell after emptying or when another akh-event fires)?
May be, both mentioned issues can be switched via mcm?

While i appreciate role of brutalRapers in game, i think they break "dream" process.
Yes, i've seen how your mod "steps out and waits when br are done", but after this planned (non-br) sex seems as strange (?hastily) repeat.

Also i got "heart-beat" sounds when pc was br-raped "in reality" (mean-son-of-bitch) while she had 100%hp and no akh-event followed after that.
I'm sure that sound never played in sex scenes before AKH testing.

@SkatingJeus: The 'Robar' mention in sexout/DLC extension plugin load message is normal... I forgot to change it.

 

To be clear, you are dying a lot?

 

It seems very odd, I just started a new game and it works as soon as I leave Doc Mitchel's house.

 

Could you try typing into console:

 

GetQuestRunning XX000ADD

GetQuestRunning XX002D9D

 

Where XX is the the load order of 'Another-Kick-in-the-Head.esm'

 

If either of these returns 0, please let me know, and if so then try (with debug enabled) 'StartQuest <as above>' after a moment a message should appear in console (and it should work..)

So, to answer to your question, yes, I died every time. My test session is simple: I go outside of Doc Mitchell house, go to the south, to met the first Raider/PG dude I can see, and let them to kill me (after a punch in the face for the PG). When my HP are low, I try to hide to avoid been killed too early. Nothing happened (and no heartbeat sound for me! I really don't know how I disabled it...). And then, they found me and kill me.

It's more or less like that.

I think it's like your mod is not recognized by my game, like it simply doesn't appeared... what is strange, as I saw the message at the top left of the screen when I begin a game.

And I had the same problem when I tried to launcha game with only FallloutNV.esm and your mod one.

 

Do your mod had a special name I could find in the console, when I write "help" in the console? (In Skyrim, when I wanted to find something related to Zaz bound stuff, I type "Help zaz", and the console gives me a full list of items and the related ID). I mean, if a command like that would tell me there is nothing, that would definitively mean that my game doesn't recognize your mod. And I would be f*cked. :( .

 

 I really think my problem is not related to my lack of heartbeat sound, but more about the fact my game doesn't see your mod. I don't know why, but I think it that.

Also when you use XX at start of hex codes in console, the XX shown in FOMM may not be accurate because mods that are unticked will still be loaded if a later mod requires them

There is a difficulty setting, on the easiest (1) you won't often lose (about 16% chance) very much except your caps and equipped items but they can be retrieved from your attackers, though things can still get robbed.

 

I suppose I could make an extra easy mode where you just lose some percentage of your caps if you want

Hi There,

 

I´ve got a problem: I cant get the mod to work.

1.) I get the message that the mod is loaded in the upper left corner.

2.) It shows up in MCM and I can change settings.

3.) "IsModLoaded "Another-Kick-in-the-Head.esm"" gives me "Mod Loaded"

 

It doesn´t do anything. I always get killed, no matter the settings.

 

4.) I messed around with the load order, inculding putting it as far down as possible.

5.) I deactivatet Assault.

 

Sry to bother you, I know if something doesn´t work out as the dev intended, It´s usually me who screwed up, especially if

others get results. Is there anything obvious I could have missed?

 

P.S. Pls excuse my English, it´s not my native tounge.

@Emo877: Sorry just noticed your last post, must have missed it before.

 

1)Yes, the section on banned actors has probably not changed between jul 28 and aug 30, but a lot of other code has, including alternate better ways to prevent stalkers breaking dreams which in all my testing work, just banning actors is not reliable.

 

While I too got into modding first by modifying other people plugins, the code base for this is still very volatile and the mod is under major active development, it may be annoying for you if you've been modifying old versions but you really need to upgrade to latest whenever one is released. There are a lot of 'misc tweaks and fixes' going into each release in many places which are important and you may miss if you are comparing.

 

2)Are you using the Aug 30 version of sexout extension plugin, because using an old version with new master version is guaranteed to cause issues like you describe with controls stuck disabled after dreams?

 

Controls are meant to be disabled until the hero talks to you, you may have found a bug here, setrestrained 0 and enableplayer controls don't do anything if the actor is unconscious, and they can't be talked to either which would explain everything. If you hit the bug again, try 'setunconscious 0' (I think thats the command at least..). Sometimes the state doesn't wear off for whatever reason (or takes 30 seconds). I never set this in my mod, but I think sexout sometimes does. I'll add an extra check to next release.

 

The other possibility is that you teleported (partly) into a wall or the floor after the dream. Aug 30 version has a protection to stop this and I thought it was fixed, but it is possible.

 

 

3) The blacking out effect is not a timer, the knockout effect is caused by taking additional damage afterwards. Also while using the dev command 'damageAV health' is useful for testing it does not produce an accurate picture of the mod in practise, outside of combat the scipts are slow for performance reasons; they don't need to be fast, and only update every 5 seconds

 

4) The messages about equipping items do not always appear and when they do it is intentional. The idea is if player sees 'ballgag and blindfold equipped' etc it produces some suspense for what is shortly going to happen.

 

5) The heart beat fx is not added/used in any way shape or form by my mod. It is always in the vanilla game when your health drops below 20%. It is also used by some other mods including SOSreplacer for sex sounds

 

6) Aid items are not all burned in current release, some of them are stolen by local enemies/opportunists along with caps when you get KO'd. Some proportion of them do get burned, the idea is that your attackers use some of your chems/food. Most of them go to player, loot box or merchants. Misc items are I think all burned, I'll change it in next release.

 

7) Companion gear is stripped (except starting items) and gets mixed in with players. I figured the player would probably want to redistribute gear since they lost some, but if you're not playing on hard mode or use your companions as pack mules I can appreciate it'll be pretty annoying. I'll change it in next release

 

8) For BR breaking your dream immersion: One could say same about using it in vanilla game, if you have it in real (game) world, why not game dreams? I dont personally think if sex animations play twice in a row it breaks immersion, and for this to be happening a lot you must have stalker rate set very high. I've made efforts to make my mod compatible with others, but I'm not willing and don't think it would be fair for me to try to restrict their content.

 

You could add a cooldown to your mod so npcs won't stalk for X minutes after any other sex quite easily (make a new sex end script, have a look at my wear-and-tear mod or SCR if you want an example), and a timer of 5 or 10 seconds before stalking starts when player enters new interior- this would probably help stop a lot of script breaking

I have attached a debug console spamming version of the mod, please give it a try.

 

You still need to enable Debug in the MCM.

 

The console should get spammed with stuff every 5 seconds. Can you tell me what it says initially, then type:

 

Player.DamageAV Health 50

 

wait 6 seconds, check console again, then try damaging yourself (X HP) as above 3 more times until you have only 5 HP left, again waiting 6 seconds each time.

 

The console should tell us whats going on.

After Damage, at all steps, the console keeps repeating "2.)", nothing changes.

That's interesting. The -1 means its cooling down, but it should go back to 0 the next time the main quest runs, which apparently is running from the command you tried before.

 

I wonder if it is confused because the value in a new game has never been set so perhaps the engine is sometimes returning garbage or something.

 

I've attached a new version which sets the value to 0 during initialisation, please give it a try; you need to do a clean save (unload mod, make save, restart game with mod again)

Hi again!

 

Okay, that did the trick. I drained my health and blacked out.

I´m sorry to say, but: Next problem. After blacking out, different dream sequences start.

I tried multiple times. All had one element in common: I couldn´t leave them. At the point that is, I suppose,

the end of the dream, my PC undressed and got stuck, then a fade out effect, then a fade in effect, same scene, still stuck.

 

 

After the dream where you get raped while wearing Kennel Slut Restraints, Ballgag and Blindfold, the console reads the following:

 

 

- Robar: Blacking Out
- Combat Blackout
- Begin RobAR Rescue Script Run

Okay, at the end of a dream you should be taken back to real world and "RobAR Main Restarted, global = X" will appear in debug console, since this isn't appearing it would seem that this is the same issue as before; the global variable still isn't working.

 

I'm guessing the NV engine doesn't handle globals very well. I don't actually need to use them (I just did when I first started and never changed it), so it will be easy for me to fix it. I'll upload a new version a little later

I had exactly the same problem as Azothiol. With your new .esm, I see the blackout effect, random rape scene in the dream, new backout, and then, same scene, but stuck in it. (And I saw my female PC with the Kennel Slut outfit.

 

So, Hope your next upload wil save us! Thanks you again!

@ SkatingJesus, Azothiol and anyone else with same issue:

 

I believe I have narrowed the problem down to a global variable that for some reason isn't setting/returning properly in your games. Attached is a version which no longer uses the global (functionality is identical)

 

Please let me know if you can get knocked out and return from dreams now. If not, check the debug console.

Ok, so I try your last esm.

 

The blackout effect works well, and:

 

In the dream with Father (as Benny), Mother (as Doc Mitchell), and Sunny Smiles (as Cazador), I can talk to them. thanks to the Console, I killed all of them, the perk stuff seems to work. But When I have a Grave option to shoot myself, I won the Suicide perk, got a blackout effect, got the ending quest message (the normal one, not in the console), and.... I'm still in the Top theater. Maybe it's not the good path for the quest? I had too a dream in a hotel room with a dude fucking my girl (with an hi-hat), and then, the scene is broken, my girl is in attack position, and the dude is doing nothing. Hope it will help!

 

 

 

 

Here is a screenshot of the "broken" script. I can see that the main quest is paused. I suppose it's a little problem...

The sexend cancelled because main quest paused is normal- it means you can't get KO'd from sex during a dream

 

However, afterwards at the end of the dream the main quest should resume and take you out, but for some reason that part isn't working

 

I've attached another debug build with loads of console print for the main quest, hopefully this will finally tell us what is going wrong.

 

I wonder if the problem is related to using a non-English language version of NV.

I did a clean save and installed the last .esm you posted.

 

Blacking out works, but anything else still doesn´t work for me.

 

After the Kenne Slut Scene, Console reads the following:

 

- Robar: Blacking Out
- Combat Blackout
- Begin RobAR Rescue Script Run

- Starting Extension Dream

- NGSAN: Random Sextype rndA54

- Sexout-Robar sexend cancelled: main quest paused

 

Basically the same, though he animation is A54 instead of A80. Still stuck after the scene.

Got stuck after the Bar Shootout, after the scene with the meat in the fridge, Console reads:

- Robar: Blacking Out
- Combat Blackout
- Begin RobAR Rescue Script Run

- GetVATSValue 6, 15->0,00

 

Simply got killed in the Nipton Nightmare, though raped before (may have been Assault), Console reads:

- Robar: Blacking Out
- Combat Blackout
- Begin RobAR Rescue Script Run

 

The main difference, besides the language, between the German and the English version is that the German version is heavily censored.

Therefore I use a modified .exe and a modified launcher. Don´t know what it does exactly, but it gives back the splatter effects.

With the last version I uploaded, you should see

 

"Robar Main Quest Script Starting"

 

every 5 seconds in the console except during a dream when it should stop, but then start appearing again at the end of the dream (along with a bunch of other messages the first time)

I tried multiple times, I even erased every trace of the mod from my HD and redownloaded it,

but it doesn´t say "Robar Main Quest Script Starting", never.

 

Edit: Yes I checked Debug Mode and got some output, as mentioned above, but not that specific line.

 

SkatingJesus, have you tried and gotten different results?

 

Does someone use a non-english version of New Vegas and get better results with this mod?

 

I wished I knew if I´m screwed because of my version of New Vegas or because of plain, old stupidity of myself.

This looks really really cool. And gives you a reason to use the prostitution mods, which i never really had before (other than the obvious reason >_>).

 

Curious how this will work with Project Nevada? Will have to give this a try and see. :D

Edit: Have tried it out and the Another-Kick-In-The-Head.esm along with the DLC addon works just fine. I get the dream, wake up and my hero talks to me and i can go about my business.

However with the Sexout addon i get stuck in a loop after the dream when i wake up. My hero spawns next to me, stands there for a few seconds and then respawns and does it all over again leaving me unable to continue.

@Drinx: Which dream was it, and which hero was it? Also, was there any interruption (stalkers, tryouts, combat)?

 

@Azothiol: This is bizarre, "DebugPrint "Robar Main Quest Script Starting" is the first line in the script, and the combat KO is disabled when the quest isn't running. I just tried downloading my last attachment and it works for me

 

- Will you open FOMM, right click "Another-Kick-in-the-Head.esm" and "Open in TESsnip..."

- Expand "GRUP (SCPT)", about half way down will be "SCPT (RobARQuestScript)"

 

if you click that you should see a little way down on the right:

....

Begin GameMode

    DebugPrint "Robar Main Quest Script Starting"

....

-----

 

I suspect you will see it, (I know you said you cleared every trace of old versions) but just to absolutely rule out any possible version confusion since I've uploaded several files all with the same name

Otherwise, since we know the quest is running the only explanation is the associated script is not running or is crashing before the first line. Yet all the other quest scripts seem to be working fine. Which doesn't make any sense.

 

Its interesting you and SkatingJesus both use non-English versions, but if that was the reason I would have thought most of your mods wouldn't work either

 

I assume you have installed the NVSE beta and NVSE extender required for sexout? (I don't think sex animations will work if you didn't)

 

Does anyone else have any ideas?
