Sexout: Another Kick in the Head

I really like this mod , I have been knocked out twice so far and the dreams are really cool.How many dreams are there?One for each of the heroes?

Glad you like it. There are currently 22 dreams, and which one you get is independent of the hero.

 

Its a bit of a spoiler, but they are listed in 'Another-Kick-in-the-Head-README-FAQ-HELP.txt' which should be in your data folder.

I didn't have any issue with the kennel slut dream; but, now, I'm in a "Navigate the Warrens of Your Mind" dream, and my 'toon is just standing on the stage.  I can't make her walk forward or do anything else.  Meanwhile, everyone else in the room appears just as rooted to the spot as my 'toon.  There isn't any way out but going back to an earlier save, which is disappointing.  Is this a known issue?  Is there any way to get this working?  I believe that I played this dream a long time ago with a different 'toon, undoubtedly with a different version of this program.  Still, I'd like to experience the whole program this time, as well.

I had the same issue with the beta of SCR (20141026), and allways had to reload the game. No 'enableplayercontrols' or so helped. Returning to stable SCR (and Preg), with the same toon and the same AKitH the dream worked flawless. Now I am back on the SCR(&Preg) betas and will look, if the issue happens again.

Sorry, that I didn't report it earlyer, but I had more problems with my new installation, and this was just a little flaw.

I have a new char (level 3, never left goodsprings) and this and the rape dream where the only, my courier had in this game.

Had a similar problem with the "Navigate the Warrens of Your Mind" dream. What helped me was a combination of two console commands "player.setrestrained 0" and "enableplayercontrols" or just reloading a savegame before the dream and try again. If you move directly at the start of the dream or your cpu is stressed the error was more likely to happen.

The random problems i had with dreams were mostly on sleep and wait (they really were not supposed to happen?) dreams.

Have tried again. After a few days sleeping my toon got this dream and stood on stage rooted to the spot ...

 

I don't want to go back to the stable SCR, so I can't be sure but it seems(!) that in my case the problem is some change in SCR-beta.

 

I think we have to wait for Odessa to figure out what went wrong.

 

[Edit:] Golgo13: My excuse for not reporting the issue earlier was just because I had recognized it at least a week ago. I can't do anything. It's Odessas mod.

It's an intermittent bug that is something to do with the game engine and should not logically happen. I don't think the version of SCR is relevant because its from the non-sexout part of AKH.

 

I moved the 'player.setrestrained 0' to the main quest script rather than stage script, because stage scripts can be unreliable (I think its only dream which uses them). Hopefully this will help, but I can't be sure.

Tested the new Version a bit and no problems so far. Play after hoover dam works ,no problems with the dreams themselves (no falsely repeated dreams or freezes); Stage dream didn´t appear for now only some sexout dreams and a sunny smile ( and her dea..spoiler..law ) one. Dreams on sleep and wait happend (with a lower frequency?)

If it matters i use nvec faster wait/sleep and 72h wait/sleep.

There are non sexual dreams and (by the sexout plugin , the esp file) sexual ones. Both can be activated by (mcm toggleable chance) rape ko , sleep/wait and losing health points. There is a second upload of the clean non-sexout version on this site and on nexus.(or you can just deactivate the sexout... esp ?!)

Well, I've encountered another nightmare (I'm gonna called them like that, since my character would sooner try to conquer Vault City single-handedly then let a man have his way with him   ). This time it was an old man who looked a lot like Abraham Drinkin' but called himself Sunny Smiles. Don't get me wrong, this looks like a good mod, but, alas, it's not my cup of dreams. I'll just use the non-Sexout version instead.

Some help needed. I seem to have a problem with this mod. Every time I am about to get Knocked Out, my game CTDs. Any idea what can cause this? Same thing happens with the 1.2 version. At first I didn't know if this is the cause, but then I put the KO chance to 100% and it crashed every time i got hit during blackout. Also found out that it crashes when sleeping and dream is activated.

Often times crash to desktop during an event means you are missing something the game needs to work. Double check to be sure everything is installed correctly. I had a similar problem with Skyrim and bandits. Loot a female bandit.. crash to desktop.. reloaded and verified the requirements to my mods related to bandits and females.. and the CTD stopped.

I have checked couple of times. Is there any way to know which files are used when getting KOed / dreaming so i know exactly what I'm looking for?

That is a bit beyond me. I haven't had that problem or seen it before with a solution.. Odessa would have to help chime in on that or someone else that knows the GECK better than me. I can' only get you so far..

It's hard to say, if you enable debug and type into console:

Then, if it crashes upload it, I may be able to figure it out.

 

Possibly something to do with unequipping / equipping lots of items at once, if some of them are scripted, although I thought I staggered it 1-per-frame .

Not to butt my nose in where I dont really have alot of information, but I remember reading that AKITH can crash due to a problem with dream time passage, is it possible the crashes that have been reported could be linked with that? maybe try turning dream time passage off in MCM and see if its still doing it.

Currently this .esp itself does not interface with or requires any Sexout Content, but I have attached a modified version of my wear and tear plugin that adds a chance based on your health percentage of getting the 'Another Kick in the Head' effect after unlucky sex... watch out for stalkers.

 

I was so excited to get this installed and trying it out that I didn't fully understand the above quote. In the end I had two Wear and Tear esps running. I figured out that your modified version of wear and tear was specifically designed for use with this mod and the older one should of been deactivated/removed. Others might not understand this fact. You might want to further clarify the instructions to remove any wear and tear.esp you have before installing the modified version for this mod. However I could be so very wrong however...

 

Other than that so far it has been good. I have one other question. How well does this play with Sewer Slaver? I currently will be using this mod at a higher level of health than the Slaver Mod. I am not against deactivating the Slaver mod. I am in favor of a more holistic mod that can encompass various aspects of the game and give alternate outcomes such as this mod's potential.

 

I will be looking forward to getting my *ss handed to me...

 

 

Yes, I should probably mention that, having both loaded may cause problems.

 

I believe sewer slaves has a similar way of capturing you at low health, so its possible both mods could try and run at the same time. I would recommend disabling the sewer slave captures in MCM. I am planning to look into adding a link from this mod to that one as a possible knockout consequence for compatability

 

Obviously if you are using this mod whilst already actually captured in the sewers it could result in your head exploding... but you can always disable this mods features via the MCM until you escape.

 

 

 

So am I understanding that it was failed to mention that this is not compatible with wear and tear? This mod has wear and tear in it as part of it so I can and should delete the sexout wear and tear that I had? or just disable the esp?

 

I looked into this because I'm not sure if I'm having an error or not.... I rested and let time pass and was suddenly taken into a room with some gear such as blind fold etc... and was getting sexually assaulted but the guy who was wearing a top hat disappears but my toon still is in the act? so I presume its a problem and intentional? I have a feeling he has the only key to the door in the room...

 

Am I correct with the wear and tear? Do I uninstall it or just disable the esp? and does it sound as if there is a error somewhere or is the man suppose to disappear?

You are quoting a post that relates to a very early release and is no longer accurate.

 

Sounds like something went wrong, the dream should end after the sex scene; the door doesn't actually go anywhere. Wear and Tear is compatible and your issue is not related. I will check the scene and see if I can figure out what may have happened.

I can agree even a very long time ago after I posted that quote you used I used both Another Kick in the Head and wear and tear.. (great combo I might add) together with no ill effect.
