ChancellorKremlin Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 Hi Odessa, Gave this a try, it somehow managed to fly under my radar all this time! Really enjoying it so far, especially the dream sequences, which are suitably surreal. The bodyparts in fridge one is just effing disburbing! So far, I haven't had too many of them - just that one, the one where I'm Sheriff in a bar, and one in a room somewhere where a male "Sunny Smiles" apparently fucks me, which was also weird but fitting. Is there an overarching theme? I have a problem with my saves in that I only have either my level 60 NCR aligned player post DLC and just before the end, or a wimp unaligned level 1 just in Goodsprings. What factions are "eligible" to "knock you out"? I've had mixed success so far with Jackals, convicts, Legions and PGs, which kill the player on a roughly 50/50 ratio. Anyway, just wanted to say I'm really enjoying this, and the dream sequences are an excellent touch! Thanks again
Odessa Posted January 14, 2014 Author Posted January 14, 2014 Glad you like it. You can get knocked out by any enemy, but it is occasionally disabled for scripting/immersion breaking reasons, and taking a lot of damage per hit makes it more likely to die. Some of the dreams are in a series, one of which is currently left somewhat open and there are some small links amongst all of them
scatcat101 Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 Tried this mod out last night... didn't get any sleep after hearing that small person talk... but I had fun! Also, is there only one Sexout dream so far? Thanks for the great mod!
Odessa Posted January 14, 2014 Author Posted January 14, 2014 Glad you like it. There are 5 sex dreams but only 1 is available at start of game, and its a random picker.
Random Guy Posted February 15, 2014 Posted February 15, 2014 Been having a ton of fun with this mod, especially the sexout add on, but the problem is, when I have the vault 22 dream, the outfit is missing from both the courier and the sunny smiles npc in there, they both just have invisible bodies. Don't suppose anyone could point out where I can download it, could they?
Odessa Posted February 16, 2014 Author Posted February 16, 2014 Glad you liked it. The outfit is the ruined vault suit, which is part of the clothing system: http://www.loverslab.com/topic/14609-sexout-clothing-system-combat-armour-damage-p7-body-fix/ You might also want to check RitualClarity's guide on installing SCR in case you missed something else: http://www.loverslab.com/topic/22156-tutorial-installation-of-sexout-common-resources-scr/
ChancellorKremlin Posted February 23, 2014 Posted February 23, 2014 This is such a great mod. I finally decided to give it a try last night and wow, the dreams are so fucked up, just how they are meant to be! I really loved the whole thing. The cazador/mother/father/bury yourself back into your grave one was inspired. And the demon one, where you end up in that place with a fridge full of limbs, and slowly the people there keep getting eaten... I loved the part where you have TONS of ammo, but only one is for the weapon you have, and you have to keep trawling through all the boxes to find the right one. Really really cool. Very well done. I've got the saloon sheriff one twice now (plays exactly the same each time) and the kennel master sunny smiles male on too. I'm wondering, do you have a document or something that tells you what you need to do to unlock each dream? I'm at the start of the game, no major events unlocked, level 20 character, but I have a male level 60 just before the end of hoover damn, and I'm just curious because I want to eventually get all the sequences, because they are amazing. Anyway, thanks again! Really well thought out and intricate mod.
Odessa Posted February 24, 2014 Author Posted February 24, 2014 Glad you liked it. All the sex dreams (5), the 2 saloon and restroom dreams are repeatable, the other ones aren't but they may have multiple stages (I can think of 12, there might be another). You are more likely to get a non-repeatable one if one is available. You need to be level ~15+ to get all the dreams, the non-adult dreams unlock from core story events, although some have extra features depending on side quests. Getting the 4 non-starting sex dreams involves side quests, but not obscure ones. To be honest, the sex ones aren't as developed as the others, although I do have some plans for them. The most interesting sex dream is unlocked after Vault 22 (? the plants one) Evo Morales is in the McCarran concourse dream, but you might miss her if you don't look around... She has some of my favorite dialogue.

They will just overwrite the files you have placed into the SCR Resources folder. No harm will be done.
Odessa Posted February 26, 2014 Author Posted February 26, 2014 It wouldn't be difficult, but it needs the Capitol Wasteland divided up into regions, which means finding X,Y coordinates in game, and finding some appropriate hero for each, with some dialog. Also, need to find a non-rescue wake up point for each, and pick some merchants and raider bases to put stolen loot in. I don't know Fallout 3 very well, so this is difficult for me. The dreams would make less sense, but they could be skipped. If you can get me that then I'll do a port
RitualClarity Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 Locations Rivet City Underworld Megaton Temple of the Union (Slaves) Canterbury Commons Republic of Dave Paradise Falls Agatha's House Andale Lincoln Memorial (Slavers) Some require contact before going there so there might need to be some scripts to fix that interactions being that you might end up there as a victim before actually getting there normally. Many don't. I chose many different areas. If other areas or locations of rescue is needed let me know. These can be looked into further to see if there is enough variations to satisfy the story line and reason behind the AKH. The factions mostly thought out the FO3 world is Wanderer, BOS, Enclave and Raider. Not much in the way of other "factions" to mention. The story would be different in this AKH becaus3e of that. The above was suggested as a rescue point with some random raider camp or mutant camp etc being where the stolen items end up. There is even a YaoGui cave as well that might be of use. (raider that stolen the item was later killed and items found on corpse.) I don't know how to find X, Y variables (I am also not currently running TWW either). I can help with the story and locations as I am familiar with F03 and can look up most everything I don't know to refresh my memory using the Wikki. One unique rescuer could be Uncle Leo. (only other friendly Super Mutant) provided that don't mess up any game play mechanics. He is a "random spawn" and I have only seen him twice in years of playing F03. There are slavers listed and slaves. Perhaps a small quest where the victim has to find, or remove the other faction to get stuff back or prevent other issues. Oh also keep in mind that TWW requires all the DLCs to run. That essentially means that AKH could also be added to all the DLC locations in the wastelands. My thoughts is many of those DLC's would be single rescue points with perhaps random loot locations. One is a simulation. AKH wouldn't even be used on that one being that it is a simulation and when you would die, you would exit normally however safeties have been removed from the simulation and you would actually die. http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Fallout_3_map Might help understand locations and areas. Click on a little box on the map and open the link to what it is.
Odessa Posted February 27, 2014 Author Posted February 27, 2014 The simplest way to pick a rescue point is just get one X,Y for middle of each and use the trigonometry functions to get distance. The problem with this is that in NV the landscape makes this not make sense (rescued by Novac when you're in Sloan on other side of dangerous mountain, etc). So instead I divided the Mojave into unequal rectangles, with special rules for miniwastelands (freeside, etc). Then we need a hero with some characteristic dialog, some need to be blocked before you've visited them but this is easy to detect by checking quests. Also need a non-rescue wake up point for each region, somewhere safe and believable, can't have NPCs or enemies around (abandoned house, etc) Ideally I could outsource the dreams to somebody(s) else- they should only be short and can be whatever you want.. so quick with a lot of freedom.
RitualClarity Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 The issue with FO3 is also the landscape but not as evident as in FNV. It is pretty flat for the most part and believable that one can be moved to various locations. Hell someone can be moved across the entire wasteland if the "hero" moves as well. For example the traders move through many cities, towns and locations. The story could easily be that some traders picked you up and moved you to the next available town. I have no clue on how to even begin on the x, y and distance. I am familiar with F03 and can help with believable Heroes and locations aplenty. If someone can just help with the x, y and distance part. Perhaps someone can also help with the dreams as well. That is if there is truly an interest in doing this.
E_Nigma Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 Dumb question, don't suppose there is a sexy only version
Odessa Posted February 28, 2014 Author Posted February 28, 2014 There's not, but the sex dreams are repeateable while most the others aren't- once you've done those you get sex dreams 70% of the time. You should give the non-sex dreams a chance though..
RitualClarity Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 Yep you should. Odessa put a lot of time into making these dreams. They are different from what you would expect and with enough variety that you don't think you are repeating the same ol' dream. It also gives you nice changes based on location (I believe) and I also believe based on my experience with it (or lack of ) as you progress through the story line into different areas different dreams occur. It is a very unique mod.
Azmodan 102 Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 Got a little problem with this mod. Whenever the ko should happen i get the message blacking out and a short visual effect but nothing else happens the game continues like this mod isn´t there (no console debug message). Could be health regenerating (implantat from project nevada) or a messed up save game is the cause of it. A new game works fine but on my old save games (all above Level 40) no ko effects and no dreams happen. (not sure abeout the dreams on sleep/wait, couldn´t get them) A clean save and reactivation of the mod doesn´t help. using beta 54359-1-02 from nexus and the sexout plugin from here sexout ng beta 2.6.85b3 common resourced beta 20140603 Loadorder: [X] FalloutNV.esm[X] GunRunnersArsenal.esm[X] CaravanPack.esm[X] ClassicPack.esm[X] MercenaryPack.esm[X] TribalPack.esm[X] LonesomeRoad.esm[X] HonestHearts.esm[X] DeadMoney.esm[X] OldWorldBlues.esm[X] YUP - Odessa Posted June 7, 2014 Author Posted June 7, 2014 Are you playing after the battle of hoover dam? If not: - Go to Goodsprings, set the MCM options for KO to 100% chance, with threshold of 30% (the maximums) and setting debug mode on. - open console and type 'Player.GetAV Health' - This tells you your total health points - type 'Player.DamageAV Health XX' to damage you down to 15% health, return to game and you should see the blacking out message - then go back to console and do 'Player.DamageAV Health XX' to damage you down to about 5%, return to game and hopefully you will get a KO, if not, take a screenshot of any console print, and post it. --- The regen mod probably makes KOs harder to get, although I would think it would not block them entirely.
Azmodan 102 Posted June 7, 2014 Posted June 7, 2014 Yes i was playing after hoover dam. (no debug messages appearing there) Had one savegame (directly) before it. I did a clean save and reactivation of the mod and ... it works. Seems slow regeneration is not a problem but the quest status.
Odessa Posted June 7, 2014 Author Posted June 7, 2014 Ah, the mod disables if the battle of hoover dam has started and won't re-enable afterwards. I'll upload a beta with an MCM option to add compatibility with the mod that lets you play on afterwards tomorrow.
trellouk Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 Thanks for the great mod Odessa, looking forward to future additions as well, like the bad outcome events. Makes the game much more interesting, hehe.
Odessa Posted June 26, 2014 Author Posted June 26, 2014 Speak to Sunny, then check cabinets and lockers around the vault, you should find the key.
DoctaSax Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 Is there a way to temporarily opt out from getting blacked out? I got a small fight scene in SOFO, & someone reported this: I wasn't ready for the fight with Pete, and as a result got my ass kicked a bit. Another Kick in the Head kicked in and blacked me out, and transported me to Doc's house. I got back outside and Pete is hanging out in his chair on the porch, like nothing happened, and Doc strolls over. I finally figured out that Doc was looking for a dead Pete, not a live one, so I console killed him and all went ahead as normal.
Odessa Posted July 21, 2014 Author Posted July 21, 2014 Not from damage, you can stop the sexout extension triggering them on the next (only) non-con sex with: PlayerREF.NX_SetEVFl "AKH:iDisableSexKO" 1 I can add one though, how about if I block all KOs via the sexout extension if: PlayerREF.NX_SetEVFl "SO:NotNow" Player is in a cell in the sexout restricted list Player is in the sexout restricted actor list However, the AKH master doesn't require sexout or NX. There is an AKH internal restricted cells formlist in my version (not release), and I will add a UDF to block it. Except, if you BuildRef a form that does not exist (eg old version) then it CTDs, doesnt it? Is there a way to avoid this or an alternative you can think of?
