nothing....
every game I touch, just keeps boring me after 1 or 2 hours....

I just keep spending money on Steam for games I think I might like, but that I uninstall after a short time playing. I just can't find any game right now, that really keeps me busy and interested

I've been playing the Epic Battle Fantasy series of games again. The gameplay is fun and the humor is just juvenile enough for my brain right now.

The weekend dive up on the attic produced another ancient classic to replay again :classic_happy:

I just started playing Elden Ring yesterday.  And as expected, it's kicking my ass.

You mean that it's as infuriating as dark souls?

Pretty much, since it's from the same developer of Dark Souls.

Huh, guess I'll buy it. I really enjoy the visual style the devs have and some vids I've seen make it seem a much better experience than Dark Souls, though I guess it's just a different flavour. I can't truly enjoy soulslikes without cheating a bit, though, haha - unless Master decides it's time to watch me flail my arms at the air whilst squealing in a high-pitched fury.

And there's a horse! And the fights seem to be better than back in DS 1-3!! And you can jump around whilst on the horse!!!

If you do pick up Elden Ring: good luck.  You'll need it.

Thanks, I'm good at rolling "die".

You're going to be doing that... a lot.

Hurray! I'm such a masochist I'll probably develop stockholm syndrome and come to like it.

Im probably way to young to go with the "Everything was better back then" narrative, But this is the one occasion when I think its true.

I remember when my 12 year old self managed to convince my Aunt to buy me a physical copy of Port Royale 2 on ebay. And I played the heck out of it.

1-2 Years ago I felt Nostalgic and got myself PR3, but couldn't shake the feeling that its just a soulless Rehash. sure, it looks pretty. but it has nothing you haven't seen already in PR2.

And the combat is so godawful slow that I really was strugling to stay awake....

Life Is Strange 2

Any trouble getting into it?  I couldn't.  Really enjoyed the original and its prequel, though.  By the way, there's a new version out: 'Life is Strange: True Colors' that's on sale at the moment on Steam.  Might be worth a look.

Just finishing the war in Uboat that came out in April of 2019.  I've played various submarine sims for years, and this is an interesting, yet different take.  I like their setup, although I find that only modeling the Type VII boat is a bit minimal, given that others had the Type IX and XXI out back in the mid 2000's.  Still, it's a far better model than the older stuff, so I can understand why they only went with the most numerous boat built.  Definitely a fun play through, but it's one I'll probably put down for a few years until it's fully matured.

Monster Hunter: World

I've been trying to come out victorious from my scuffles after having made my way to High Rank...

Love the Pukei-Pukei for some reason...

Still FH5 mostly but lately I have been playing a LOT of Super Auto Pets. Also just recently found Carnal Instinct and love it even if it is pre-alpha.

Yeah, that game seems like it could become something.

Here's to hoping.

Another game that's in EA which is fun too but not quite sexual (...yet?) Would be "Ostranauts", I've had a blast on it even if most of what's available for now is shipbreaking. It feels to me like a mash-up of a few games, like, Oxygen Not Included, Rimworld, Subterrain, UnderRail and some others. Some Sims too, the game's got a turn-based social system which I find nice.
