Zaz Animation Pack V7.0 [2017-05-16]

It seems this mod broke my mounted combat feature. I can draw weapon while on horse, but can't swing it. Anyone has the same?

Yah, me too.  Had to reinstall 5.53 to get it back.  Only updated to get rid of the Prison Overhaul nag message.

Other than that, awesome mod!

Have you used Devious Devices? Does Mounted Combat work with DD installed? Where can I find this mod?

Stupid question that I asked in the wrong place: would the Xp32 plus SOS be compatiable with this? or do I need to use the skeletons recommended by the author?

No, you can use any skeleton. The risk is that animations won't line up as nicely as they would otherwise, but feel free to experiment.

Mounted combat is a feature in the current version of Skyrim. It was included to game with Official Skyrim Patch v.1.6.

Has installation changed since 553?

I went from 553 to 555 in SL1.58b (uninstalled 553, installed 555, ran FNIS, started new game), got a message that zaz animation has been updated to 555, went to MCM to click on register animation for SL, nothing happened.  Revert back to 553, no message but was able to register animation.

Running into the same issue unfortunately. The MCM menu seems to be broken - I can enter it but I can't interact with any of the options. Then when I exit out, none of my other MCM menus work unless I reload the save.

EDIT: Nevermind, first thing I did after updating to 5.55 was go into sexlab and reset the animation registry. That seems to get everything working.

No, not running DD on this save.  And I am talking about the regular Skyrim mounted combat, not another mod.  The only two mods I upgraded were Prison Overhaul and the Animation pack, and then I couldn't swing my sword while mounted.  Perhaps I messed up the installation:  I'll investigate further.

I'm using the Zaz/Xaz stuff since it was in it's babyshoes but i never really posted here, lemme just say this.

Except a few minor problems which i was able to sort out myself (most of it caused by my own stupidity), everything works absolutely kinktastic.

Thanks for making Skyrim so much more captivating. ;)

I'm afraid I have the same issue with 5.55 and MCM.

Since the update, my MCM menu for ZAP is gone.

I have had weird issues too. I started a new game, went to configure my mods and found the MCM menus for both ZAP and DDi missing. (Other DD menus were active though.) I went to an old save and they were there. I went back to my new save and they were still missing, even after forcing a reload of the MCM menus. So I started another new game and they were there. Very odd.

There seem to be issues with MCM when running ZAP. I haven't seen those, so I can't comment on a solution.

I can give some general advice:

1. Use a mod manager. I use WryeBash but ModOrganizer (MO) seems to be a popular and well working alternative. NMM is another one.

2. Make sure you sort your load order. I use BOSS for this. MO comes with a simple button which runs Lore (another sorter) for you.

3. Check your dependencies. SexLab requires SKSE 1.90. I think you'll see warnings if those are missing, but recheck just to be sure. Zaz Animation Pack requires very little.

4. Enable Skyrim logging. Search google if you don't know how to do that ("enable skyrim logging", and "you're feeling lucky").

5. Check the logs for errors related to Zaz. In fact, search for "Zaz Animation Pack" and/or "zbf". Most logs from Zaz start with zbf.

I have done all of the above except for skse which I thought stopped at 1.7.1.

Still no menu on this save game.

It's ok though. It was a test game. I don't mind starting over to anew game if I have to.

You seem to be pushing a non existant version of SKSE today. Current version is only 1.7.1 and was just released but I still recommend everyone update.

Don't seem to hear any gag sounds with 5.55, with 5.53 they worked fine. One of the options says custom though, is this from ZaZ or maybe DD_Restraints? I also selected the other variants but the hostages from Hydras Slavegirls mod never moan.

I'm having an issue and I feel it might be these animations. Whenever a character, NPC or player starts moving, they go into sliding sex animations before fixing themselves. Has this happened to anyone else? I keep trying everything, yet they keep making those animations, it's really ruining everything

I go AWOL for like a year and you magnificent bastards are still fighting the good fight. I just want to know why I haven't seen more use of this animation:

attachicon.gifOffset004.jpg

I made a little mini-mod with ZaZ that attaches the offset to the GSB cuffs (first I found) and reapplies it. Works with no issues that I can see, however that armor object seems to shift position for reasons my limited knowledge cannot deduce. As much as I love the armbinder (awesome modding all-around, the devious stuff is), I would do some kind of harness for this if I had any experience with 3D modelling.

Anyways, thank you guys for everything. It's made my return to Skyrim interesting to say the least.

Welcome back!

Maybe it has to do with bone scaling or something? To get the pose to feel realistic, I had to shrink and move some bones (instead of rotating), which I guess could have weird effects.

Still, there are no bindings to go with it (yet). Which is why you haven't seen it used more..... :)

Doesn't even need to be anything all that fancy.

I think it might make for a more interetsing animation for a magic binding spell. Was working on something like this before I fell off the face of the Earth, I just never bothered finishing it.

To you and MCC: glad to be welcomed back.

I know but I used that idea in another post just this week so I couldn't repeat it so soon.

I had the MCM vanish when updating to the latest version. I reinstalled a fresh one and started a new game and the menu came back.

As far as I can tell missing MCM menu problems are from the SKYUI mod and not the mod that the menu is missing from. Unfortunately we don't seem to have any activity on that mod for the last year.

Thanks.... where did I get that number from. :(

Custom is normally silent, so yes, change from custom to something else. That was an oversight on my part not to automatically set something default sounding.

Will be fixed for the next version....

Anything funny in the log? Is it just Zap missing, or have you seen other mods having these issues too?

I was trying Prison Overhaul and noted it required version 5.55 of Zaz; I had 5.53.

After installing both Zaz 5.55 and Prison OH, every time a SL animation starts, the PV stands still and doesn't move. Also the mouse cursor disappears and the mouse does not work in first or third person. The mouse comes back on the menu screens.
