we've done that too & the characters are still standing on the bed frozen. anything i'm maybe missing or possible fixes to make the sex nimations actually run?

Thats only a text display run fnis and you should see some text appearing there if you have correctly installed the sexlab or other fnis depending mods you should see something like this post-98324-0-11723700-1376984428_thumb.j

ok, got Skyrim from Steam, all the necessary SexLab mods added, got FNIS DLed too (updated & all the right things checked in text display thing) yet the characters just stand on the bed & do nothing while in the top left corner of the screen it says the different sexual positions they are performing yet..... they still just stand there lol. any help? my girlfriend is driving me insane wanting this fixed lol thanks for any help!

If FNIS registered SexLab animations, it's rather weird that it's not doing anything.  Which mods did you install?

Nope. Its a nord female. Once they start to take off their amor the game just crashes. I also re downloaded the game with steam and the FNIS warning is now gone. so whats causing this?

This might seem like a stupid request, but is anybody working on improving the nude mesh? At least for males? Because I used to use SOS, but it messed with too many good mods (Touring Cariages, Dual Swords Redux, Swords on Back etc.). However, now my character has a blob of clay vagely shaped like a sausage with a potato below it. I'm hoping that eventually the integrated nude mesh in SexLab will be a good replacer. I don't need to be able to adjust the angle of the penis, but I do want it to look at least slightly realistic...

I've been poking around the creation kit and I've been wondering ever since the update that implemented the SexLab treatasmale / SexLab treatasfemale keywords how exactly do you implement them because I don't see those keywords anywhere when I'm editing the custom race.

Latest version of SOS has fixed the issue with carriages and there are converted skeleton options compatible with SOS although I don't DSR is one of them.

 

I do still have a version of the favoured souls body that I modified the mesh of to make the penis more realistic, keeping the length whilst greatly reducing girth to more reasonable proportions so that it doesn't look like a tree trunk is attached to the male groin. I also made it so that the penis doesn't scale ridiculously when adjusting body weight.

 

I'll try and find it, it's on an external HDD somewhere and I've just recently reinstalled Windows and Skyrim after upgrading all of my hardware so it might take me a day or 2, sit tight.

I WAS going to say the answer was to just add the keyword manually, it doesn't have to be a specifically selected keyword, it just has to have labelled as "SexLabTreatMale" or "SexLabTreatFemale"

 

However I was unsure of the exact wording on the keywords, so I went to look it up in the sexlab scripts. And oddly enough, the function that uses the keywords is missing. I know for fact I made them... Must have gotten lost somewhere in a version shuffle.

 

Edit: Nevermind, just double checked the release, the functionality is in there (SexLabFramework.GetGender()) and it is indeed "SexLabTreatMale" and "SexLabTreatFemale" It's just missing in the development version for some reason.

 

Now to figure out where the function got lost in my development version...

 

Edit 2: Nevermind again! I'm dumb. The functionality is in the development version as well, I just wasn't paying attention and had opened a copy of the SexLab from my old Skyrim folder, which is still on SexLab Rev 4.

I've noticed with the latest version (or it could be any version after 1.01b, not sure) that during non-oral animations, female/receiving actors have lip/mouth movement. Every time it occurs (which is once ever couple seconds) it cancels out any phoneme commands that may have been applied previously by the user. Expressions and modifier commands are unaffected. I use phoneme commands a lot for screen shot/video purposes, so this became noticeable rather quickly.

 

If I may ask Ashal, what script(s) are responsible for this? I can see it's a feature, and I'm not complaining about it, but I would like to perhaps modify/remove it for my own personal use. I don't need any detailed help or anything, just anything that can point me in the right direction.

I've attached the male meshes I use, they're the 4udik ones (much more realistic). Be sure to install the nude suit after Sexlab (obviously).

 

SoS can be used with Dual Sheath Redux, the skeletons are here. There are detailed instructions on that page. I've used the 1HB DOH one successfully with DSR.

I was told to come to this topic. Basically each time I do a sexual animation now my character appears to be stuck kneeling. Occasionally he will briefly continue his animation only to go back to kneeling. Does any one have any input on this would really appreciate it a lot. Some one had said to check mark the unequip his hands option in sex lab but I don't see that.

Make sure Data/meshes/actors/characters/behaviors folder has an FNIS_Sexlab_behavior.hkx file.  If it's not there, find it in the Sexlabframework archive you downloaded and put it there, then try running FNIS again.

There are options for undressing equipment slots in Sexlab MCM for each kind of animation (foreplay, aggressive, etc etc).  It's hard to miss really.  Just browse the Sexlab menu and it should be somewhere there.

It seems to me, you run FNIS from desktop - you should have installed into your game folder just as other mods, and so you should have the path c:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\Data\tools\GenerateFNIS_for_Users. No wonder, FNIS couldn't see SexLab...

Hey... question:

 

Is there a trick I'm unaware of when it comes to adjust actor's positions in sex scenes? Because even when I have a sex scene with the exact same character, exact same NPC, exact same place; if I adjust, say, the Arrok Blowjob animation, the next time I play that animation set the actors' positions will be completely screwed :/ Is there some sort of procedure I need to follow in order to properly and successfully adjust animations or...?

 

The OCD in me has a panic attack every time a sex scene starts. And boy I won't even mention NPC on NPC animations, but those I can kind of understand if they are screwy, not that important.

I actually like the lip syncs for general use, but now I have the power to "turn it off" when needed. Much appreciated.

Absolutely

 

And? Any warnings? Did it read Sexlab? If everything is set, try once more either resetting animation and voice registry from within Sexlab's MCM or do a clean rebuild for Sexlab.  Animations not playing at all is usually either FNIS not picking up Sexlab correctly or something getting messed up during a Sexlab upgrade.  I can't really think of something else.
