It is possible even now to register 3rd party animations into SexLab - Estrus Chaurus does it. It is up to the modders to actually use it.

I don't know if this has been mentioned or even a possibility of working...

With quite a few new animators coming up with some of their own animations, is it possible to add animations for Sex without having to put them in SexLab?

Unless a person is versed in replacing existing animations, most others have to wait until animations get added to the next SexLab Framework is released instead of being able to 'plug' their own in...

I'm probably just too ignorant of how it works.... But if it's some sort of possibility, or if it's even a feasible idea...... what goes where?

That helps with mods like Zaz and Estreus, but what about individual animations?

Like ones from Panic, Zynisch,, Dayelyte or some of the Japanese animators that are coming out with some new content?

Or.. a better How-To on replacing existing animations?

Can someone explain to me the big new features (from a user perspective) for SL 1.5? I'm not comfortable switching to an alpha build of SKSE until I understand what is new so I can weigh the risk of upgrading.

From the 1.50 changelog, most of the changes seem to be on the backend. This is not surprising since SL is a just framework, so can someone explain to me what advantages this brings to the user? Can mods do more advanced things now? Examples?

I've been holding off on upgrading, but SKSE 1.7 has been in alpha for almost 5 months now. No idea when it will move to beta/final, so I'd like to get an idea of what I'm missing by holding off on the SL upgrade.

Hey guys!

Anyone have any idea as to why when i hit the + key to switch places with my partner, most of the time (around 90% of the time) the scene gets screwed up. Both play the same animation and usually one is humping dry air in the place it should be while the other toon is suspended in the air above and to the side of the other character doing the same thing as the first.

I have re-installed sexlab 3 times now, i have tried in 3 different new games. I've seen this happening since 1.50 but it wasn't so bad because when i hit the realign actors key they would do some gymnastics and end up in the right positions. But now in 1.57 it doesn't work so i have to use the end animations key.

I am using skse 1.7, sort my mods with boss and the one it doesn't recognize i add them to the doss list by category, not by random choice. For example the followers i add them to the followers category of the boss master list, armors like "Ragna-Rok Shredder Armor.esp" to the to the "Items R" of the master list, if this sounds weird to you, check the boss user list editing utilities like the one available in "boss gui" or "boss user list manager".

if its just skse holding you up than bite the bullet and get 1.7, it may be an alpha build but its stable. really the only problem is it doesn't automatically activate the memory patch, and thats easy to do yourself.

I am using skse 1.7, sort my mods with boss and the one it doesn't recognize i add them to the doss list by category, not by random choice. For example the followers i add them to the followers category of the boss master list, armors like "Ragna-Rok Shredder Armor.esp" to the to the "Items R" of the master list, if this sounds weird to you, check the boss user list editing utilities like the one available in "boss gui" or "boss user list manager".

Can someone explain to me the big new features (from a user perspective) for SL 1.5? I'm not comfortable switching to an alpha build of SKSE until I understand what is new so I can weigh the risk of upgrading.

From the 1.50 changelog, most of the changes seem to be on the backend. This is not surprising since SL is a just framework, so can someone explain to me what advantages this brings to the user? Can mods do more advanced things now? Examples?

I've been holding off on upgrading, but SKSE 1.7 has been in alpha for almost 5 months now. No idea when it will move to beta/final, so I'd like to get an idea of what I'm missing by holding off on the SL upgrade.

if its just skse holding you up than bite the bullet and get 1.7, it may be an alpha build but its stable. really the only problem is it doesn't automatically activate the memory patch, and thats easy to do yourself.

Okay, good to know it's "stable" (that seems to be the general consensus, but I did see reports of problems), but what about the actual question? What am I missing out on from SL 1.5?

Hi, does anyone else get scrunched up fingers when the sex animations are happening? I'm not sure if it happens with every animation, but I'm certain it happens with some of the blow job animations. When my PC (girl) is using her hands in the animation, her fingers look stubby. So, is this a problem with my game, or does everyone have this kind of thing happen?

If you need a screenshot, I could get one, but I'd have to start the game again and hunt for a scene again. I'm just wondering if anyone else suffers from this.

Is it possible to add/manage some voices to make some of them only appear in rape scenarios some in not rape and some in both?

I mean like dividing the voicesets in lustful moanin and desperate crying. you could make some additions to the sound menu where you probably will be able to divide the voices in different groups like rape and no rape.

i know it is possible to have different sounds with oral animations than with vaginal and anal like getting "mmmmhph" instead of "oooooh yeeeees"

so why nobody havent done such a mod yet or is it sheer impossible?

I am getting "out of range" animation error and I dont understand why.

It happens when my character is wearing a harness or chastity belt from DD and I try to invert the character position.

with some earlier version of the mod it was possible for a belted character to wear a strapon, but that doesnt seems to be possible anymore and completly fuck up the animations of the characters.

Hi anyone know why my character does not strip when performing sex, I have SOS and addons and it was working but all of a sudden he never gets out of his underwear. But when he is raped and not the aggressor it works fine. WEIRD

Can someone explain to me the big new features (from a user perspective) for SL 1.5? I'm not comfortable switching to an alpha build of SKSE until I understand what is new so I can weigh the risk of upgrading.

From the 1.50 changelog, most of the changes seem to be on the backend. This is not surprising since SL is a just framework, so can someone explain to me what advantages this brings to the user? Can mods do more advanced things now? Examples?

I've been holding off on upgrading, but SKSE 1.7 has been in alpha for almost 5 months now. No idea when it will move to beta/final, so I'd like to get an idea of what I'm missing by holding off on the SL upgrade.

if its just skse holding you up than bite the bullet and get 1.7, it may be an alpha build but its stable. really the only problem is it doesn't automatically activate the memory patch, and thats easy to do yourself.

Okay, good to know it's "stable" (that seems to be the general consensus, but I did see reports of problems), but what about the actual question? What am I missing out on from SL 1.5?

The three biggies for me (in ascending order) are smoother and faster animation starts, individual position settings for each race/gender combinations, and very very very smooth, compared to 1.39, motion when using the positioning keys. Just an all round better experience.

The first is when sex is happening. I've noticed the squashed up fingers in lots of the animations, not just this one. The second is how the hands normally look. Oh, and in the first, it's not just her hands, but the male's hands are squashed up too.

So, anyone have similar? Or is it some kind of bug affecting my game?

Have the same issue since i remmber, I think its like this for everyone. Prob its fault of the animations not framework, For example new animations from Panic do not have those blocky hands.

First, it is not quite true that "I think its like this for everyone" as someone said. I never had that problem.

It's related to your skeleton. You have to check your skeleton and body meshes. Also see the main SOS thread since there a lot great advices and links to various helpful mods.

Have the same issue since i remmber, I think its like this for everyone. Prob its fault of the animations not framework, For example new animations from Panic do not have those blocky hands.

To be honest, the animation probably looks fine within the application, the .kf / .nif exporter can do strange things to the bone data from time to time. If this is a confirmed issue for everyone, then I would probably lean in that direction. On the other hand, If it works for some and not others, then I would start looking at what skeleton is being used for those affected by it.

Glad to hear , maybe theres a way to fix it then. Im using 7base body and xp32 maximum skeleton v 1.93a. Will give sos skeletona a try then.

Quick question: Is free cam disabled for creature animations? When I try to enter free cam during a creature animation it just auto disables.

Thanks for the replies to the scrunched up fingers thing. I'll probably have to experiment with the skeletons/meshes I have. Luckily I have mod organizer, so it's not that big a problem picking and choosing.

I am running pretty popular skeletons and meshes ([skeleton]XP32 Maximum Skeleton [X.93ar50].7z & HDT BodySlide v1.4.7z & SOS - Schlongs of Skyrim - 2.05.019-BETA.7z). But, given the fact that it's affecting the male and female in that scene, perhaps it's the skeleton, because I think it's given to both sexes.

So, I'll start from there when I have time. Hopefully I'll be able to narrow it down to something.

The gals fingers are clipping inside the dick, you have an alignment problem OR the dick has a circumference larger than the animation allows for. The guy's fingers are BENT not straight and therefore not completely visible from the angle you took that picture.

Well, I get to see this kind of thing with a few poses, and it's definitely a problem with shortened fingers. It's like the joints compact or something. I could get other screenshots of before/after for these two to show they're stunted instead of just curved. I'll try when I'm back there again. Right now, I'm playing with individual mods a little, so it might be some time before I play with this again.

Hey, so curious to see if my skeletons/meshes were wrong, I completely reinstalled the game, and only installed the essential mods in order to test the animations.

That means, I installed SexLab and its dependencies, and FNIS, and SexLab Romance.

So, this is with Skyrim's default body meshes, and skeletons. The only thing changed in the mesh folder was was FNIS did.

And, here's what I get:

So, it's pretty obvious how the hands squish up, right? It's a little harder to see it on the girl's hands, but I'm sure it's affecting her as well, comparing the lengths of Hand6 to the previous shot.

So, now that I've shown that it affects the default skeleton/meshes. Is there a clear combo of skeletons and meshes that this doesn't happen with? Anyone have a working combo?

Thanks for any info. I'm curious if this can be corrected or not, without redoing the animations or anything like that. If not, then I can live with it.
