Skyrim SexLab - Sex Animation Framework v1.62 - UPDATED Jun 3rd 2016

Recommended Posts

The system for expressions is practically unchanged from 1.39, has absolutely nothing to do with SexLab or even 1.57 specifically. Either use different eyebrows, tweak your characters brow shape or forehead shape in racemenu to accommodate,  try different facial animation mods, or turn off expressions in sexlab. In any case it's absolutely not a SexLab issue.

I installed.. nothing changes :(

sometimes this unpleasant phenomenon also happens with the eyebrows in low definition, do not understand why it is as if they were to break or sinking beneath the skin when changing the espressioen facial, very frequently when this happens with the new facial expressions  system from SexLab v1.57

now I'm on the UNP, but it also happened in the past with CBBE :-/

I've got exactly the same problem.

Are you using numenume femalebrows ?

Are you using ECE ? If you are, which version ?

Yes I have Istalled Nemenume female eyebrows, I have over 300 eyebrows (a single pack is call 180 eyebrows)

and

I use only ECE v1.2, I use only the normal slider for make a charachter, no Vertex Editor

I have Overide but not have installed the Race Menu, I set in SKSE folder the UV map to 2048 for the High Resolution

I use XPMS Extended Skeleton with HDT and ECE new sliders, body and textures are UNP family

I've got the same ECE version, and the same problem, I think this is because ECE.

If you are using MO, make a clone of your load order in a new profile and try to launch/load a game with this new profile.

If not, I suggest you disable ECE and its plugins in your load order and launch/load a game. I suggest you start a new game, I think loading a a savegame won't work. But you can try.

EDIT - One funny thing is... When using Immersive First Person View v1.7  and using the hotkey to change the clipping, the eyebrows seem to work just fine with facial animations.

Depending on how much you modify the brow area using sliders you may get clipping.  Slider multipliers will increase eyebrow clipping as well as any other area of he face.  Try reshaping the brow area, if you move a slider very far you can see how the eyebrow will clip.  Also try a different Brow style, I have seen brow packs with a few styles that don't fit every brow area depending on how it has been shaped.

I use these brows: www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/30411  and this: www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/35303  with ECE for character creation.

With my new found love for SL facial expresions, I hope you get them brows fixed :)

Unfortunately I do not have the MO, only latest version of NMM, and for load order I use the excellent and easy LOOT

are OT, we continue via pm.. :-/

I have UNP skinny body and this mod.SG Female Eyebrows - SG Female Eyebrows and Cover women mod.

Have never had a problem with eyebrows. Might try?

no problem for me, except and very strange thing (maybe not a bug, but idk if somebody have this too, please tell me, if its normal). when i start sex, i can hear and sort of "bip - bip-bip" during sex and it grow faster with each scene :

bip -bip at scene 1

bip-bip-bip scene 2

etc...

its normal ? if yes, then its all good. this "things/bug" didnt make problem for me, but its very strange to hear that the first time

A quick update on sexlab updates...

I've started working on a 1.58, the main feature for this update is that it will include a new MCM menu option for troubleshooting common SexLab problems, there will be buttons related to various issues such as "No characters will play animations!" and once clicked SexLab will start running through various tests asking the user for feedback if something specific it's trying worked or not, make suggestions for solutions to errors it finds, attempt to auto correct itself on various things it might be able to fix itself, tell the user what the most likely problem is, and provide specific error id's to specific problems that can be provided in any tech support posts to help pinpoint a potential problem.

So far I've completed most of the animation tests, and if people have suggestions for other common problems that could possibly benefit from a built in troubleshooter, feel free to make such a suggestion. Currently my list of troubleshooters to include are as follows

  • Generic install issues such as missing resources or failed script setup
  • MCM option for SexLab not showing up
  • Bad installs missing important requirements / dependencies
  • Animation/Voice/Expression list in MCM is empty
  • Characters just stand there and T-Pose or play their normal idle animation instead of starting sex
  • Characters are placed wildly out of position during animation
  • No SFX or Voices play
  • Expressions do not apply
  • Lip sync does not play during voies
  • Creatures do not play any animations
  • Characters do not strip for animation
  • Females do not equip a strapon for certain animation/positions that calls for it

Any issue involving crashes isn't something I can really test for in game, as 99% of the time such issues are solely the result of the user missing master files or using very outdated mods and not directly a problem with SexLab itself, making it something impossible/unrealistic to test for via scripting.

I am feciously and/or pessimistically dubbing this update to SexLab the "leave me the hell alone about these problems"-update

Great idea! ^_^

Hi Ashal. Are you planning to add all or some of the mymix animations in the next update?

What are these mymix animations..?

Hey, i just updated from sexlab 1.39 to latest version. What i do is uninstall through mcm. Clean save then manually remove all sexlab files before putting in new versions.

However i am seeing 2 sexlab in mcm. One of which had no selections. While the latee had all options to config.

There is a new hotfix for this Sofia follower that I believe has fixed the problem I'm having. No more freezing during dressup portion of the animations. But I think this follower mod might still conflict with followers dressing up after an animation. This is not with the latest FNIS, though. That will be my next test.

I think we're in the same boat.

Mine was/is doing a similar thing...

They position, strip, play sounds, auto advance, but no anims... they just stand there.

My fist thought was, it must be the Behavior files.

So I ran FNIS Gen.

Nope. same problem.

I havent done any major troubleshooting yet but notable recent mods installed was

FNIS 5.1 / Sexy Walk / Sofia (with Sofia Quick Fix2)  / Skyrim Slut Shout - v2_2

YAY mine is working again.

Looks like it was PCEA, there was a hotfix posted which fixed it right up.

FNIS Behavior V5_1 Hotfix 1

Fix for PCEA users only to prevent Error(2001). Drop the "Data" folder into "Skyrim"

The goal is for you to have working eyebrows!

Depending on ECE load order it can cause missing slider information, such as missing colors.  My load order in NMM is: at the very bottom, CharacterMakingExtentender.esp  is 3rd last esp

            RealisticRagdollForce.esp

EnhancedCharacterEdit.esp  is the very last esp.

BOSS puts ragdoll between them, I'm not sure about the placement but it doesn't seem to cause any side effects.

Ashal, don't know if you have had a chance to look at this (or perhaps it is not a problem and/or there's a known fix), but how about problems with the stats registry not updating, i.e. all stats "Unskilled" after plenty of animations.

You can manually move the 2 ECE esp in NMM to the bottom to verify that load order is or isn't the problem.   Write down the numbers to the right (load order/Index) to make sure you put the esp(s) back to thier original spot in load order when you finish.  Don't try this if you are not comfortable doing so.

I have 249 slot position, max slot for NMM is only 250.. :(

this is the CME load position post-204983-0-39590800-1401819693_thumb.jpg and this is ECE load position post-204983-0-53717100-1401819740_thumb.jpg

I never manually changed the load order in in NMM, where I have to click exactly ?

CharacterMakingExtender.esp 56 87  EnhancedCharacterEdit.esp BA 187   After you open NMM there are two tabs Plugins and Mods.  Click Plugins.  Find the esp(s), right click one of the esp, it should highlight blue, on the upper left hand side you will see Big green arrows, use the arrows to move the esp to the bottom of the load order then do this again with the other esp.  Open Skyrim, remember not to save or allow auto save make a save (auto save has back up files as well as the 3 main ones) until you decide if you going to leave them at the bottom.  If you do decide to use ECE at the bottom you can save, how this will effect the game later I'm not sure.  Open showracemenu.  Look to see if your sliders have changed.  You can make changes to your character without saving the changes to a slot.  I hope this makes sense.
