srayesmanll Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 "An error has ocurred with your instalation of Devious Devices .Failed to find any valid animation". I have SexLab framework instaled and every mod need it , what can i do to fix that.Thank you in advance. Try going to the DD-Integration thread and reading the OP: Warning: Sexlab 1.5 is currently not supported. Devious Devices will release an update once Sexlab 1.51 is released. DD-I has not been updated to work with the current SL 1.5x versions.
azmodan22 Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 I have a Wierd Problem Although I have FNIS 1.52 installed, when I use a chair, a message popes up that tell me that I need to upgdate to FNIS 5 !!! There are also some problem with some mods not working but I thing they are related to that. Does anyone else have this? Hey Azmodan! I had the same problem. Ashal fixed it in his update to version 1.54. I installed the 1.54 full version of sexlab (complete update and all) and then the problem occured. Ashal mentioned two or three pages back I think, that he fixed it in the upgrade file. So I installed the Upgrade to Ver 1.54 and that did the trick. @ Peiniger: I'm trying that right now, might take 'till tomorrow for me to finish, since I really think I should get some sleep before work (real life can really suck at times ) So before I do something stupid.. again.. Please confirm this. I have The 'normal' 1.54 file installed. I have to also install the "150 to 154 upgrade' file ? (So I will have both installed) Never mind. found the post. downloading the fixed file and will try again. Will get back if it does not solve the issue thanx
Nova eXelon Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 First I want to thanks Ashal. Version 1.39 was really good, but the improvements in 1.54 are great! Its much more responsive even though it has so many more options. I have a minor problem though: The settings for "stripping" are being ignored for NPCs (They work for my character). But only on an old save. The rules are working on new saves. NPCs get stripped completely and are not re-dressed afterwards. Is there a way to fix this? Deactivating all SL mods, saving and cleaning tools and then re-enable SL didn't help. Got the same problem . No need to anwser ... it is rather a stupid question. 'Victims redress' in the menu is enabled right? OK, so did I miss the joke here? Even if I hadn't activated the re-dress function (which I have), what kind of sense would your question make to the rest of my post? Like the part with "are being ignored for NPCs" and "They work for my character"?
Kinky Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 Facial expression failing for me. When animation starts it stays in a "neutral" face.If I apply custom one while animation running it keeps it for like 2 seconds then rollback to the neutral state. Lipsync works fine, tested expressions w/ and w/o lipsync it doesnt seem to be the source of the conflict. any help? I have exactly opposite. Expressions working great, lip sync not working at all. I have player voice installed and if i press hotkey my char starts to speak and lip sync works fine but for sexlab sounds it doesnt work... I have other bugs too... sometimes actors do not unequip weapons, most of the times they do as they should. Npc actors almost always equip strapon even if following animation doesnt require them to wear one, in treesome animation wrong female char had strapon equipped. Everything else seems to work fine. Papyrus log is below 100 Kb so i guess not much problems there but ill try to use that tool to clean save file to see if things change if not then i guess sexlab will need another update. Edit: using Sexlab 1.54 + latest Matchmaker. After cleaning 7 scripts and rebuilding sexlab i still have same issues... going to try 1.54 instead of 1.50+patch... Edit2: after completely removing sexlab and all sexlab mods, running FNIS and then cleaning save from sexlab scripts and reinstalling everything and running FNIS - Sexlab finaly fully works.
Spyder Arachnid Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 Just wanted to come in and say everything works great Ashal. No problems at all on my end. Fresh game without any SexLab at all on it, installed the newest version with Matchmaker and it all works great. Haven't had any problems. Thanks again for all your hard work.
themainwolfman Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 i can safely say at least on my end that v1.54 is working great voices, facial animation and position alignments are all perfect (except for 1 troll anim but that was easily remedied)
Mart0206 Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 Just test the new 1.54 LS Version on a fresh install (new computer, haaarr) SL only without any other SL based mods. Works perfectly everything, but not the facial expression (and the mysterious lip sync) If an anitmations starts (i actived the checkbox for foreplay) PC opens mouth for example but keeps it open the whole time, even if main animation starts, through all stages until end. Looks kinda funny So i was asking myself, did i have to make any adjustments on the menu point "Expressions Editor" for some kind of "activate" expressions in SL? I thought not, or am i wrong? Since i read a few pages ago, that a character with edited facial stuff over race menu or ECE can get problems with the facial expression my test character didn´t got stuff like that. What did i made wrong?
Derpakiin Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 I've updated from version 1.3.9 to version 1.5.4 and everything works fine except that I am getting 2 entries of Sexlab in the MCM menu. One belongs to the old 1.3.9 which is completely non-functional, and the newer 1.5.4 version which I can change the settings. The command setstage SKI_ConfigManagerInstance 1 does not seem to work in removing the extra defunct menu. Because my SL is not an old 1.20, I have used these installation instructions: ----- Basic Update Procedure ------------------------------------------------- Download the latest framework archive, if you are using a version older than 1.30, you will need the full archive, otherwise you will only need the update patch. Extract the updated framework/patch into your Skyrim's data folder Navigate to your Skyrim's data/tools/GenerateFNIS_for_Users folder and run the GenerateFNISforUsers.exe utility. If you have a custom animation skeleton installed (very likely) make sure you check the "Skeleton arm fix" patch. Click the big button that reads "Update FNIS Behavior" You should see a line that says "Reading SexLab ..." if not you've done something wrong. Load your save game and you should see a notification that SexLab is updating, it will then go through the update process Wait 1-2 minutes, until you see a notification that says SexLab has finished updating/installing Wait another 30 seconds or so then wait or sleep 2 hours in game Save your game with the update now fully applied, you should see the appropriate version number listed on the last page of the SexLab MCM. These update instructions only apply to people using v1.20 or newer, if you are using an older install, read the pre-v1.20 update instructions below. One thing to note is that when I do a SL update, I do not use the patches. I tend to update the entire framework by uninstalling the original and installing the full new version of SL. The extra menu is otherwise a relatively minor annoyance, but any help would be appreciated.

If you'd taken the time to read back a few pages you'd have found the answer already but all you need to do to fix this is open the console and enter "setstage ski_configmanagerinstance 1" then wait while the MCM menus are rebuilt.

Suludi Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 You even quoted him saying that this command didn't work... It's not working for me either, btw.
dkatryl Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 You even quoted him saying that this command didn't work... It's not working for me either, btw. Hrm, it also doesn't seem to be working for me. It's not a major thing for me, I haven't touched Skyrim in so long that I'd prolly just be starting a new game anyway, but it'd be good to know all the same.
Neodarkside Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 Not entirely sure if its Sexlab thats causing this, but any time a female Khajiit is stripped naked, wether dead or in a animation, I get a CTD. I noticed it just after installing the latest Sexlab v154. Noticed my textures for females skin somehow got changed so I went and reinstalled the base UNPB texture for females. Males work fine, but the instant a female is stripped naked its a crash. Went back and completely uninstalled my UNP body as well as XPS skeleton. Reinstalled the body, then the UNPB version, then the XPS skeletons and finally a normal skintone texture mod and it fixed the problem. Not sure exactly what it was that was causing it.
Madmartigan34 Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 SexLab is triggering Auto-Saves and Quick-Saves for me upon acts of sex. I can't find a way to stop and its just now saved over my current game in a broken state where my characetr is standing, completey unable to move other than jump up in the air in-place. And no, enableplayercontrols, doesn't solve the frozen in-place issue. The game Saves are happening at the start of sex scenes.

Then complain to the people who built the MCM Menu, it's that mod which is failing to recognize the duplicate menu and not rebuilding the menu when you use the command that is supposed to perform a rebuild. Unfortunately the MCM stuff hasn't been updated for nearly a year now, they may not be bothering to fix anything in it now.

PhantomPanic Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 I'm having an issue with 1.54 in which SexLab appears to install fine, but when I go to the menu for toggling animations or facial expressions, the check boxes appear, but no animation or expression names are present. Also, animations won't start. I tested using SexLab matchmaker, and after it asked me if I wanted to use a bed, nothing happened, and the NPC resumed their normal routine. Can someone please help me with this?

It removes not only junk and old scripts from saves, but also old titles from menu. In the case you don't have it: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/52363/?
pancakesyaay Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 Can someone confirm how giant animationsare working? Every animation works for me except for giant, female characters play the animation as it should but the giant just stands there scratching his back lol. BTW I started new save + SL1.54 + FNIS (newest version) billypnats are you using Ultimate Combat? I was having the same problem and finally found that Ultimate Combat added animations to giants, falmer, and draugr. Just delete the animations (they're all named something spattack) and it should work again and Ultimate Combat still works fine for me.
Ashal Posted April 29, 2014 Author Posted April 29, 2014 If you have dual SexLab menus in MCM and running the "setstage SKI_ConfigManagerInstance 1" command doesn't fix it, you'll probably have to uninstall all SexLab mods, and do make a save without any of them installed to clear them both from the menu, and then install the sexlab mods again. Part of the backwards compatibility scripts added in 1.54 is adding back the script and quest some mods were binding to to access SexLab's config settings, which also happens to be the old MCM menu quest/script, the MCM stuff in the script is all neutered so it doesn't create a menu entry, however if you're upgrading from 1.39 or older MCM has already installed the menu using that quest and script from before the properties and script were neutered making it think it's more complete than it is, so it just checks that it still exists and and assumes it's still an active menu. Doing the usual pseudo-"clean save" process should correct it, if not than running http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/53045/? or http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/52363/? to remove all sexlab related scripts from the save before reinstalling sexlab to the newest version should finish the job.
alex13 Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 Hello everyone! I'm having a problem with full archive extraction. I can dowload both files (full 154 version and update150->154), but I can only extract update archive. I tried a lot of extractors (even few of the online extractor sites) and even downloaded archive couple of times, but everywhere I get a message that archive is eather in an unknown format or damaged (I can't open it anywhere). What should I do here? Thanks for help in advance.
flutie Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 Mr Ashal, I thank you for your time, your Sexlab is the best, how you manage your time, would love to see your time scale in video the development of sexlab should have been taped, your sweat, blood, and tears has worked

For me, it was just that the internet cut out or faltered mid-download, corrupting the file.
germanicus Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 Ha, I just discovered one interesting thing. I found one old save with SL 1.39 in my Skyrim save folder that I keep at the side. I haven't been playing with this character for a long time. So. when I load that save I've got usual stuff on the top of the left screen about SL.1.54 is discovered, installation...etc. Then, after few second: There it is - "crap about outdated FNIS". I had to laugh. I have 5 characters now that I've being playing and all saves works great, and now, finally it came to me too. So what I did, I made the whole story (about new save, clan save, unchecked the mods and bla bla) much shorter and it works. IT WORKS PERFECTLY. 1. After that happened, (when SL 1.54 installed itself and when I got this nonsense about outdated FNIS) I exit the game and started save tool cleaner and cleaned the save. 2. Started NMM and since I already have SL. 154 full mod, I installed SexLab_v150_to_v154_Update.zip and just overwrite the SL.154 when asked. 3. Started FNIS and BOSS 4. Load the game and play the whole hour without any problem. No more hated "outdated FNIS" or/and any other errors. All (mods) works like a charm.
