update. i found out where they come from. Zaria's restraints.  i need to ask a modder if the spanking skirt can be adapted for sevenbase bombshell bounce as in it's cbbe version it clips like crazy.

Could be. .... I've crashed once on my old saves, even before the whipping, but it's probably some kind of general instability. Probably the whipping makes it worse, because everyone so far has reported crashes only after that point.

No crashes on my side, after whipping, but i disabled decals (which should affect whipping marks) for testing purposes on another mod.

But for me, the jailor gets stuck pretty often. A lot of MoveTo commands laters, that helps her to remember what she was about to do, everything worked flawless.

Tested on a pure vanilla save, with my toon still in riverwood, not even having left the house of the blacksmith.

Hi xaz, one question: Is there a chance to wear prison clothes, maybe in the next update? Make it selectable in the MCM (if possible), so it would be everyones choice.  My PC  would like to wear at least some rags (maybe draughr rags)  - could you consider it?

I believe if you commit a non-violent crime you get prisoner's clothing and no gag while they're taking you to prison.

Before the crime i ticked off the jailer  in both sluts(bug section)and moved slider to 0 for female jailor nothing else

Yes i got the crashes when i or the game tries to save in version 20 not in version 19 at all.

 

I took autosave off and i couldt leave prison(falkreath minor crime) tried to save in Falkreath inn... CTD!

Tried the new version 20. I had some problems (sorry) In solitude i couldt not auto-enter the cell my toon stands in the doorway stranded unable to move and the jailer just stands there(waiting for me entering properly) and nothing happens. Tried to wait and the jailer change position but nothing happens and i cant move my toon.

 

In Falkreath(minor crime) i end up in the pillory and nothing happens no whipping no fucking no broom and the. The jailer walks around with out a whip just looking and no citizens interfere the scene is endless(no end) and i reloaded.

 

In Whiterun(minor crime) i got whipped in my cell but no pillory just release after whipping (tried to save here and CTD reloaded tried again, ticked off the jailer thing in the debug section it worked)

 

 Everything worked for me in version 19 except for un-equip in the pillory

 

Oh a last thing i doesnt get whip marks(not in 19 ,20) at all i know others have had the same problem but cant find it in the thread (only have it in early version)

I've noticed the problems with the doorways. Not sure why that didn't happen to me before, but it's tweakable so should be fixed for the next version. These things are possible to fix by console, and sometimes will eventually sort themselves out anyway.

 

Not sure why you won't end up in the pillories. Works for me on a save where PO has not been installed before. Are the pillories in Falkreath there as expected? Have you tried the troubleshooting on the first page?

 

Which jailer things did you check? Both of them?

tried again this morning

 

Falkreath minor crime  the bug section ticked both" jailer thing" moved the slider  to 0 no female jailer.

 

this time end up in pillorie, the jailor does nothing whipped one time by citizen fucked one time by guard but when he reequip the pillorie disappear ( its like the guard takes it had that in 19 as well )

 

Two times punishment nothing from jailor. When the jailor release me from pillorie the pillorie  pops up again.

 

Taking back to prison serve my time being whipped in the morning (with whip marks ) released the jailor disappeares( the bug tick off) Put on my stuff, going out ...CTD

 

Tried when i was taking back to serve my time to remove all auto save (stiil with the jailor tick of)f ..No crash but when i tried to save in the inn CTD

 

Havent tried to tick off animation in bug section maybe its something with the whipping?

 

Hope there is a solution for this

Just let the guard talk and arrest you, without you skipping dialog.

Try and get a single guard alone when you surrender ive been having problems if there is more than one guard within about 5 steps they tend to go hostile tends to happen more in solitude. Also if u have any companions following sometimes if they are attacking as u surrender they can make the guards hostile aswell.

You get to wear rags if you're caught for petty crimes. I guess I could make it an option not to get undressed (and instead get prisoner rags) ...

i don't really think it's the whippig marks, but it's the only major difference in my Skyrim setup and the setup of other xPO player that i could think of ... except from different mods, hence me testing it in pure vanilla, only running the DLCs, zAP and xPO.

 

i got the feeling, people with still unsolved problems should try to revert to vanilla iNis, to see if something changed, as i got only a very few edits (shadows and ram) and some might still have old settings in them. Some well known iNi edits became not only obsolete with the latest Skyrim patch, but could cause glitches and instabilities.

 

i know i reverted to vanilla (with the mentioned edits) due to strange ai behaviour. CTDs became way less too (needs hours for the game to crash), but i switched alot of my mods (switched from GEMS to STEP), so this could have lowered the crash rate. Still worth a try, to revert to vanilla iNi, imho.

Best crash solver: Clean mods as suggested by BOSS, create a merged patch with TES5Edit and a Bashed Patch with Wrye Bash.

Merging pure weapon and armor mods, as well as mods with its optionals, to reduce the amount of esp is another good way to keep Skyrim stable.

Or add skimpier rags for major crimes, for a visual feedback... and letting the player know what's very likely going to happen to her/his toon.

I guess it also depends on how you're catched. If you kill someone, I don't know if combat stops. I've seen pretty many arrests where the guards just kept attacking. For no reason, reloading and doing the same thing (punching a guard, typically), and the arrest proceeds as normal.

 

So it's not normal. Is it consistently like this or randomly? Also, as other's have pointed out, try not to skip dialogue. If you leave dialogue early, the guards attack by default. I can change this, but I've tried to minimize changes to the vanilla assets.

It's planned, but I'm kind of held up by the ctd bug atm, that and work is keeping me busy... (though work doesn't progress this mod in any way, sadly)

This happened to me yesterday, everything goes fine, even killing someone, but only if it doesn't become a major crime, for example, I killed an NPC, the bounty was 1000, the major crime was set to 1500 = arrest went smoothly, but if I killed another NPC, the guards kept attacking me after I surrendered, I tried it several times and it was the same every time. 

 

The odd thing is, I was in v19, I upgraded to v20 and the bug went away, I went back to v19 with my original save, and the bug went away. I don't know if this helps, but it's working fine now.

I downloaded this mod for the first time last night and everything worked... up until I tried to leave the Whiterun dungeon and got a CTD like others have described.  I tried following the tips that were layed out, but nothing worked.  For now I'm just going to uninstall, but I'll continue following the topic.  I really like this mod and hope it gets fixed soon!

Which is strange, because I saw a few crashes myself from 019.... wonder what's different with your setup.

Well, as a comment, I've discovered if I turn off Lover's Comfort, it seems to work without CTD.  Only need to turn it off before the final part, though, as it works fine otherwise.  Don't know what the conflict is, but I had a save in the jail right before release, and if I turned LC off, it worked fine.  With it on, I got a CTD.
