View File SexCrimev0.3 SexLab Crime System Framework IMPORTANT: Version 0.3 requires a fresh savefile (that never used version 0.1 or 0.2). Due to my inexperience as a modder, I made the mistake of attaching some of my scripts directly to the player instead of with an alias in versions 0.1 and 0.2. If you don't know what this means, that's fine: It's fixed now, which should resolve a whole bunch of potential mod conflicts and bugs. Unfortunately the only way to truly fix this is to revert to a savefile that never had one of these versions of SexCrime installed before installing the latest version. I apologise for my incompetence, and assure you that it won't happen again. ----- Abstract SexCrime is modder’s framework for adding an immersive sense of criminality to many SexLab based interactions. Different players expect different prejudices in Tamriel: some are happy to imagine that it is a place of supreme tolerance and open-mindedness, others feel like its citizens should be die-hard puritans, and many expect some sort of a middleground. With this framework, players will be able to decide for themselves what constitutes sexually criminal behaviour, allowing any dependent mods to effortlessly adjust their content to fit the user’s tastes, and enhancing the overall roleplaying experience. ----- Notes SexCrime is currently in a very early development stage, and this is my first ever mod release, so bear with me. Take the usual precautions with unproven mods, and don’t blame me if your save file gets corrupted. The mod is woefully undertested. Everything in the current release works as far as I’m aware, but I haven’t tried my hardest to break it. Feel free to make any suggestions for future additions and changes to the framework. If you’re making a mod and would like to see some additional functionality in this framework to make your life easier, just send me a private message! ----- Implemented Features Automatic detection of public nudity Automatic detection of public masturbation Automatic detection of public sex Automatic detection of rape (player as aggressor) Automatic detection of homosexual sex Automatic detection of bestiality A 4-tier crime categorization system. The player can individually define each of the above to be perfectly legal, misdemeanours, serious offenses, and heinous crimes. Basic (temporary) definition of 'public area'. There's no such thing as a sex crime in an interior cell. APIs to pause/unpause any individual crime scanner, or all at once. APIs to set characters that won't report the player for any crime. APIs to convince the rape scanner that the seemingly innocent animation is actually rape. Followers won't report the player. This will probably become optional in later releases. ----- Plans For The Near Future Make witnesses actually respond to sex crimes in an immersive way (including dialog, complaining, etc), rather than just continuing on with their business. Make killing all witnesses fast enough remove the bounty (this is standard for all vanilla crimes). ----- Long-Term Plans Make framework aware of how public an area is (and provide APIs to adjust this), so that the player can feel safe about nudity, masturbation, and sex in less-travelled areas. Don't force witnesses to report every crime. Decide whether they should report the crime based on their attitudes, disposition, arousal, or possibly other factors. Make friendly, non-cowardly NPCs likely to come to the aid of the player if they witness them being raped. Make NPCs subject to the same sex-crime rules as the player. ----- API Documentation Since the source code is provided, it won't take a genius to find more ways to interact with the framework than I have listed here. Try to only use APIs listed here. Messing with other options could break the framework. If I do not list a property or function here then I make no commitment that it will remain usable in future versions. ----- Installation, Upgrade, and Removal To install, simply extract the archive over your Skyrim's data folder. Or use a mod manager, I use Nexus Mod Manager and it seems to work fine. To upgrade, simple extract the archive over an existing installation. The framework doesn't leave any particularly troublesome traces that I'm aware of. Standard mod removal practices should work. ----- Changelog v0.1 (07/07/2014):Initial release v0.2 (09/07/2014): APIs to toggle various crime scanners. APIs to add characters to a 'safelist' of characters who can't report the player. Added very basic public area detection. Any interior cell is now considered private. v0.3 (11/07/2014): Fixed a bunch of potential mod conflicts. Fixed a bug in the Safelist API. Stopped followers from reporting the player. Enhanced reporting algorithm to reduce the number of situations where the player could be reported to [blank]. NPCs that are hostile on-sight will no longer report the player. ----- Permissions This mod is open source and you’re free to make any changes you want. For the sake of user simplicity I ask that you collaborate with me in order to include useful and sensible features into the main release, rather than splintering the userbase. View File Description: This mod allows you to handle your bounties with sex in an immersive way. Current Version: v1.3 - 5/11/2015 Features: - Fully voiced interactions (using Vanilla dialogue) - Supports both player genders, with appropriate interactions for both guard genders for each. Guards - When you are confronted by a guard, you will have a new option telling them that you don't have enough gold to pay your bounty - The guard won't believe you, or won't care. But then you make them an offer they can't refuse... - Except they can refuse. That's the point. The bigger the bounty, the higher the guard's arousal will have to be to let you go. - In the dark of night, when the city is asleep, a guard might be a little bit more willing to shirk his duties to have a good time - You will offer the guard a random sex act in exchange for letting you go and wiping your bounty. The higher the bounty, the more you might offer. So for example, if you're caught picking someone's pocket you might just offer the guard a handjob (it's not that serious of a crime), but if you are guilty of murder you might have to offer to let him get rough with you. - Of course, if you are caught while you're horny, you might offer the guard more than you otherwise would - If the guard isn't interested, he will tell you so and you will only have the options to pay your bounty (if you can), go to jail or fight Bounty Hunters - If you run into a bounty hunter in the wild, you can offer them sex to let you go. - They will be a little more willing to accept your offer than a guard might be, but their arousal still plays a role in their decision. - Unfortunately, the only thing a bounty hunter can offer you in exchange for sex is to let you walk away. They have no authority to wipe your bounty. You'll have to go deal with the guards directly for that (and you won't find them as willing). Orcs - If you commit a crime in an Orc stronghold, they will tell you that you have to pay with blood or gold. But you come up with a better idea, to pay with your body. - The Orcs won't say no, but they won't be gentle either. Bonus Features This mod also comes with a slight overhaul of the Thane get out of jail free system. It always annoyed me that a Thane would only get forgiven once. And so... - A Thane can use his influence indefinitely for petty crimes. - A Thane still gets to use his influence for one serious crime. - If you've already used up your serious crime, you can still demand that they let you go, they will just tell you no. The Numbers: These are the equations at play for the various features. I suggest not looking at them, or not trying to strategize around them. The point of this mod was to have a chance to get out of your crime, but to also have a chance to end up in jail. Feedback Requested: So far I haven't gotten any feedback about Bounty Hunters and them not being spawned with arousal. Unless I hear otherwise (or ever actually encounter one in my own game) I will assume that is working as intended... I am looking for more ideas of things that should increase or decrease chances of success, especially things that will decrease it. Currently the only thing working against you after the initial calculation is whether you have your weapon drawn. I would love for there to be more things that could work against you that would seem natural. I had tossed around the idea of checking if you are diseased and making that decrease your chances, for example. If anyone comes up with ideas about how to increase or decrease your chance of success, please post them in the support thread. Upcoming and Potential Features: - Offering followers in your place - I laid more groundwork in 1.3, but I'm still making some fundamental decisions about how I want to implement this feature - Nudity increases your chance of success - Plan on implementing this feature once I make some of the follower decisions (it makes an impact) Required Mods: Sexlab Sexlab Aroused Redux Suggested Mods: Sexlab Aroused Monitor Widget Incompatabilities: - Paycrime - PaySexCrime - This came out at pretty much the same time as mine and seems to be a more expansive version of the same idea. If you want something more complex, check it out. Known Conflicts: This mod has two known conflicts with Prison Overhaul. - Dialogue for wanted criminals (when a guard recognizes you and initiates an arrest): Prison Overhaul and I both found a bug in this interaction and fixed it. But in order to offer the guard sex for your bounty when that event happens, Sex Bounty needs to be loaded after Prison Overhaul. - Bounty Hunters: Prison Overhaul bounty hunters are a completely different entity to the regular bounty hunters, and will not have any options from my mod. A compatibility patch might be possible but for now, just pretend that the PO Bounty Hunter is too scary to even proposition. I tweaked PSE dialogue so it refelcts back on mechanics of the mods combined. Installation: Just put it below the listed required plugins. This esp can be merged into Bashed Patch but I highly advise against it. Having Lovers plugins imported by Bashed Patch was bad thing to do and PSE relies on LAPF. View File What is this? This is a mod heavily inspired by Crime and Punishment... What that mod did was adds to the prison system in Skyrim by having your character marched bound and gagged to the prison. This mod takes it a bit further than that. You are now locked in the cell, dragged to the pillories and punished there. Mix in some random whipping and punishment for your misdeeds both in the cell and in the pillories. Depending on the crime, prisoners are treated differently. Crime is graded on three levels, petty, minor and major. Prisoners are kept in the stocks during the day, and move to the cell during the night. For crimes deserving worse punishment, you are typically stripped of clothing, punished in the pillories and similar. Regardless of your crimes, you are released at 8am the morning after, slightly depending on when you were caught. Expect to spend at least 24h in captivity. Just before your release the guards may decide to punish you again depending on how severe your crime was. Important tweaks and options If you have not installed Fuz, make sure that "Enable dialogue" is unchecked. It is checked by default, so you need to do this. The mod alters the TimeScale global variable. If this worries/bothers you, then uncheck that option in MCM before getting arrested. If walking all the way to the prison, back to the pillory and so on bores you. Try checking "Fast forward" while walking there. If you want to make the whip marks last longer, you can tweak this in skyrim.ini. Under the section [display] add the following: fDecalLifetime=300.0 Installation Required: SexLab Required: ZazAnimationPack (latest version). Required: SkyUI Optional: Fuz Ro D-oh (If you run without Fuz, you need to turn off "Enable dialogue") Optional: Death Alternative Unzip the archive into your Skyrim data folder (if you're feeling lucky), or use a mod manager (preferred). Uninstallation Remove all files contained in the archive. Upgrading Remove all previously installed files from the archive (uninstall). Overwrite with new files from the latest archive. This is the most reliable way of upgrading. Save your game. Quit Skyrim. Uninstall XPO. Remove all files that were part of your previous XPO setup. Start Skyrim, save again, quit Skyrim. Install XPO. Start Skyrim. Load the save you made earlier. Enjoy the upgraded mod (optional). Troubleshooting Checklist: Read the bugs secrtion. Make sure you're not covered by anything known. Restart the mod. Click "Force restart" in MCM. Make sure all dependencies are satisfied. Note that the MCM option "Enable dialogue" requires Fuz, which is otherwise optional. Try placing the mod last in your load order. If upgrading, check that no files from previous installs remain. Especially in the script folder, check for filenames starting with "xazp" or "xpo". Do this also for scripts\source. Create a "clean" save according to the upgrade instructions. Start a new game, teleport directly to Whiterun, for instance, and get arrested there (punch a guard is the easiest). If the last two options work for you, then please write about it in the official support thread. It may be a problem which can be solved without creating new saves, etc. Especially starting a new game is probably not necessary, but may take some additional effort on my part to fix. Known bugs Player sometimes alternates between running and stopping when forced follow. Press "caps lock" or hold shift as a workaround. Mods that increase or modify combat damage may make whipping fatal. Try to disable these mods and see if that helps. Ultimate combat is one such mod. It may break whipping and pillories if used with this mod. Disclaimer This is a WIP, and once you've installed this mod, it may leave traces behind in your save games. This may or may not crash your game at a later time. I try my best to make sure it plays nicely and uninstalls cleanly, but it's your job to keep your important saves safe.
