Prison Overhaul

Escaping says it sets my bounty, but it doesn't seem like it since guards don't go after me after I escape.

 

Guards only go after you for major crimes (bounty above 1500, adjustable by MCM).  Otherwise they will just sometimes say "Wait, I know you" but not arrest you.

Yes you do. The patches are fixes, not a complete reupload of the mod with fixes. This is the only patch file you need, but you will always need PO as well unless stated otherwise.

Max sentence is set to 10 days, 100 per day with a 3k+ bounty.

I guess look at the limits for a crime being considered petty, minor or major. If it's a petty crime there will be no actual punishments.

It gives the message I'm being arrested for major crimes. Tresshold set to the default 1.5k for major.

So I'm having this problem, I did a search and saw it mentioned once with no resolution, any time I get arrested, no matter where, I end up in a tiny square cell in windhelm with one guard, a chest and a trapdoor in the floor. My stuff gets taken and then everyone just stands around doing nothing. It's not a zaz or fnis isue since every other mod works fine, and it doesn't matter where I get arrested, I always end up there. I took a break from skyrim but I remember never any issues with this in the past. Any help would be great, thanks.

 

That happens when the teleport of the guard and you has a problem. It happened to me once, because he did too many teleports in a short time.

Try to turn this option off, to see if it continues.

 

 

 

 

 

On a totally different subject...

"Patched .::. No punishments given, used different logic this time."

I still have this problem. Nothing happens when I'm in the cell, nor when I'm at the pillory.

I had the problem before, since the mod wasn't put at the end of my load order. But with the patch, it bugs again.

 

EDIT : well, a forced restart of the mod AND lower values for the time forward seems to have fixed everything. Yay ! *watches her character being buttfucked by a grumpy guard and drools* Hmf... Bad girl, baaaad...

 

Now... It would be nice if they would undress my character before to fuck her... Since to use the naked setting is quite problematic... With Sexcrimes, I'm getting bounties on my head when being at the pillory or during the parades. "Yes, I'm paying for my crimes. Could you stop putting bounties during the sentence, please ?" "No. you will stay there forever !" Buuuh...

I'm having some trouble here. Whenever I get arrested, I get sent to jail, but nothing happens... that is, everything acts like vanilla Skyrim. I have no jailer, no cellmate, no punishments... just me in a cell with an option to "serve your time" when clicking on the bed. The game proceeds in a vanilla fashion from start to finish. 

I've tried getting arrested in various holds (Whiterun, Falkreath, Morthal only)... no dice. I artifically set my bounty to 1500 gold in Whiterun and set the Prison Overhaul setting for "major crime" to 500, so I'm well over the limit... my max time in jail setting is 2 days.

 

For this character, I'm using the following mods that I believe may be conflicting, but I don't know... can anyone verify a conflict?

I also recently installed Inte's patch, but that didn't fix my problem...

Yes, PO is definitely conflicting ... .

Seriously though,

1. Try moving PO further down the list, say just before the PO patch for a test run.
2. Reset PO from the MCM menu.
3. Make sure all quests started in the PO Debug MCM.
4. Failing all that, uninstall PO and patch, save, clean save, save, install PO and patch, keep it towards the bottom.

Seriously though,

1. Try moving PO further down the list, say just before the PO patch for a test run.
2. Reset PO from the MCM menu.
3. Make sure all quests started in the PO Debug MCM.
4. Failing all that, uninstall PO and patch, save, clean save, save, install PO and patch, keep it towards the bottom.

Check out my PO settings as a reference.

 

I've already tried resetting PO, but I haven't tried anything else yet. I'll try it those tomorrow... but I noticed something first:

When a guard arrests me normally, the variable "xpodynjailvars" is "no"... but if I force trigger an from the MCM, it sets to yes.

And no matter what my bounty is set to, the "xpobounty" is no.

I been following this thread for ages, (since i uninstalled it after a lot of troubles) hoping that it someday would be fixed/stable, i really like the idea and would like to have it in my game, but it looks like there is still a lot of problems with it.

I find it's fine if I'm careful. Install the 3 main PO files, then the latest patch by Inte (4d at the moment). I think you also need to run FNIS, then tweak the MCM and go kill Nazeem in front of a guard . (Or Heimskr, I'm not fussy)

I tried #1, 2, and 3, no fix. I didn't try #4 yet, but I found my problem anyway...

I had set "Fast Forward" to always and apparently that was my problem.

Just tested getting arrested in Whiterun with patch 4d...

1. Forced sex scene: Works fine
2. Whipping scene: Ends immediately before anything happens. (All MCM settings are at default). Also, if I am standing at the cell door when the punishment starts, the X-frame is placed through the doorway, and when the punishment ends, I'm outside the cell and given bounty for escaping.
3. Pillory scene: After I'm bound in the pillory, the crowd gathers, the NPC approaches and says a message about starting the whipping, then just walks away, pacing back and forth (similar to the problem reported previously with the parade scene after whipping)
4. Custom follower: The game would freeze when equipment is removed to the chest if I had a custom follower (Alicia)  with me. It doesn't freeze with a vanilla follower or no follower. I don't have any "follower overhaul"-type mods installed. I'll need to test if this happens without PO installed, though, since it might just be a problem with the follower or her equipment being forcefully removed.
5. Arrest: when my wrists are bound, my skin texture turns into a red flame color (like a flame atronach) if I am wearing my mage robe. It's only the body and not the face, it doesn't happen if I am already naked, and manually removing/requipping the robe with the console after being bound fixes it. Could be related to one the texture replacer mods I'm using, but this is a minor/cosmetic problem anyway.

All the quests are started in PO's MCM menu, and I've also tried the "restart" option in MCM, which didn't seem to make a difference. If I have time, I'll try to test if these problems happen with a new game.

 

I'll still use the mod regardless since it doesn't seem to cause any harm outside of the prisons... plus it is great when it works.

 

EDIT: Attached papyrus logs with pillory and whipping scene errors. I don't really know anything about Papyrus scripting, but both errors seem to stem from the xpoStateWhipNow global variable being a "None object" (uninitialized? or not attached to a valid object?)

Hm... from your whip log I can see that the pointers to global variables that I am using do not work on an old save. Have you ever try to clean your existing save?

I could just add global properties for all of those variables to every single script.

This will be fixed in the next patch, but for now you can go in the MCM (while in the cell) and adjust the health whip slider to say 70, anything will work as long as you change the existing value, exit menu; this should recalculate your health without all the boosts from your armor.  The next patch will calculate that automatically when the jailer strips you.   
3. I believe this is tied into No. 2 above.
4. PO does not play nice with custom followers.
5. Never had that happen, probably all you.

xaz Prison Overhaul V33 + Patch 04d by Inte German translation

 

The ESPs in this upload are localized and cover all 17 supported languages, so there shouldn't be any problems regarding this.
The translation files for the MCM menu are included as well in all 17 languages.
So if you already made a translation of the ESPs, those'll be lost as all string tables, except german, are based on the original english version.

if you want to keep your MCM translation, then don't overwrite the according file.

 

if you used TESVTranslator to translate this mod, then you can simply re-translate with your existing database.

 

install MO:
Choose the existing mod as target and choose merge.

install by other means:

Choose overwrite, when prompted.

Cleaning my save fixed all the issues with punishments not working!  Thanks @Inte, I'm very happy about that.

 

It's kind of an involved process, though, since I had to use a save cleaner (106 orphan instances and 44 orphan scripts) and temporarily disable the SexLab Solutions patch, as well as my merged patch which includes PO. Hopefully that won't be necessary with every patch update, but I suppose I'll manage regardless.

 

Also, one other tiny bug to report: The descriptions for the options on the "Prison" MCM page that set the likelihood of each in-cell punishment incorrectly state that they are for the pillory punishment.

• Added .::. Pause leash forced follow while in combat. You still can't get away, because when the combat is over you get teleported back to your captor. But with this, you won't be frozen in place while a bear is chewing on your ass, you can run away, or hide behind your captor ... something other than just being frozen in place.
• Added .::. If your captor dies while you follow, you will get set free instead of not being able to leave his/her dead body and just sit there looking silly.
• Added .::. Re-calculation of your whip health % after the jailer strips you of your armor, as suggested by @PubliusNV.

Don't know what caused my previous issue, but it seems the latest patch fixed it

 

Also...Is there a suggestions topic for PO? If not:

 

- Perhaps an option to keep the character gagged during the whole sentence. She is after all the dragonborn that can kill with her voice.

 

- Other perhaps, make the amount of restraints worn increase the more times the character sucesfully escapes. The guards of course don't want it to happen again.
