I've been trying to find a fix for the off bug where the guard just stands in your cell staring at you for the first punishment. Is there anything I can do to fix this? 

 

I think this is caused by another mod moving the guard, usually just waiting/resting is enough to get around this for me, as i've experienced issues like this when i've had PO actively doing something and another mod also actively doing something with the NPC's

Had the same thing; my fix - uninstalled Prison Overhaul, deleted the esp, bsa and scrips, saved a new game and then installed the updated version.

So, this message means exactly what it says. Prison Overhaul was built for 1.50 and you are not running 1.50. If for some reason pillory scenes and so on are broken, that could be the reason.

 

I wanted this message to pop up just once. If it comes up all the time, then you have found a bug. Otherwise the warning is just there to let you know that errors may start to happen because I have no idea what Ashal does when he upgrades SexLab, and things break also in between the minor revisions.

Thought it might have meant that it was looking for a 1.50+ and activating by mistake as a lot of the time the requirements are a certain version +

 

I've tried it on 1.55 and at first it didn't work as i went up and smacked a guard and they arrested me but just stood there so I reloaded a save from before hitting the guard and used the force restart option in the debug menu of PO and then it worked fine.

 

Only three things i noticed are that NPC's move around you while whipping you in pillory, seem to lose mouse scroll wheel zoom while in pillory and one of the guards seemed to lurk outside my cell (although this could have been me breaking the npc ai by using wait to soon after he left the cell) which caused the next visitor path finding issues (waited another hour and it popped the guard into my cell and launched the sex and dude managed to leave the cell fine)

 

I didn't use the rest option as i have SD+ installed and didn't fancy a trip to sanguine and then back to my cell

 

Test run in whiterun after being arrested, taken to cell and then to pillory

Is there a way we could bind the fast forward option to a button to save going into the mcm menu?

sort of like pinkies screenshots here but in video form

I have tested "v33 fix" installed with a bunch of other mods and it worked.

 

Issues I've encountered:

  • Cage scene has bystanders popping up inside
  • Cage door sometimes remains open and you can run around
  • Pillory animation was resetting when jailer activated next scene  (just before small crowd began to gather). Just regular standing animation was displayed unless punishment itself forced pillory position back.
  • "Parade" looked goofy, but I guess it worked otherwise. Maybe not everyone should rush to tackle player.
  • Damage of whipping was insufficient, I had to use damagemult workaround.
All in all, the mod does work here. If you guys have problems running it, it's probably conflict with something else.

 

The bystanders magically teleporting into the cage is a limitation of the engine. There's little I can do about it.

 

Open cage door is not something I've seen before. I'll have to investigate that one closer. Could it be that the door can't close because something was blocking it?

 

"Parade" is one of those I'm on the fence about. I like the basic idea, but it's just too damn hard to get the ai to behave.

 

I'll make sure to set a timer for the whipping in coming releases.

 

 

Can you not have NPCs congrefate around a point outside of the cage, rather than in it?

i have this bug where when i go to jail and im at the place where they take your equipment and put it in the evidence chest the guards just stand there doing nothing while i cant move cus of the cuffs

Do you have any non vanilla follower?

happened to me some time ago, and was due to a follower not properly recognized as most of custom followers or serana.

Maybe I have to configure, but how?

 

PO should trigger when you get arrested... DA triggers when you die... (well, actually instead of...)

it's different... they shouldn't conflict... you mean that when you get arrested you die instead ?

2. When the PO bounty hunter comes if you hit him/her and loose the fight, when DA triggers the bounty hunter should take you into custody and then to jail.

 

Now, for that to happen PO has to have a higher priority than SD if you are using SD and all others. See my settings below.

Oh, i see... mine is set to 75 that's probably why i never had problems getting arrested :P

Had an issue in riften with the jailer, my PC was locked up her in cell and the jailer came to pay her a visit but once they were done as it had done the sex near the cell door/wall it moved my PC outside of the cell once the sex had finished which counted as an escape

 

As my PC was tied up she didn't escape, instead she got beat on by the guards until sanguine took pity on her and teleported her to the dream world (from SD+) but then when i returned to skyrim i kept getting a constant "Player has escaped" Bounty now at 1900ish

 

Tried resetting PO and that did move my bounty to 0 but then i had a constant player has escaped bounty is at 0 spam in the debug area until i gave up and loaded a save game.

 

Is their a way to either have PO ignore being outside the cell after sex or to have PO teleport you back to the cell after sex incase the path finding/scene ending  jumps you

I am getting that spam too when I escape, It's a bug with PO 033.

I believe xaz is aware of it and promised us a fix for PO 034. :P

I do not know what it was, but after a new installation on a clean save I solved.

maybe... but even if so, there's something in version v33 that conficts with someone since version v32 works perfectly in my game... all the problems i reported above only happen with the latest version and never happened before (and i'm using PO since april or march 2014...)

 

so... even if i'm no modder at all, i'd suppose that whatever causes the issues, (conflict, bug, load order, or anything else...) depends on v33 and is not present in v32... :)

Hello there, I tried this mod and it's great but it seems like I'm getting purple textures for X Cross and Pillary. How to get the "texture" for it? Did I downloaded the wrong file? 

 

I dl'ed the V033_Fix. Quite new here I'm hoping someone could help out tqvm.

I have a bunch of mods from here, and when I add PO it leads to infinite load at start up. Not sure how to trouble shoot anything because I know nothing about mods.

Infinite loading screen is a common issue for when your memory blocks allocation exceeds the limit before loading everything, instead of a CTD you get ILS. Do you use Sheson's Memory Patch for SKSE? If you do, get Memory Blocks Log from the nexus, check if the memory patch is working. If you don't use it, start using it. Also, try using ENBoost, follow the instructions on the STEP site to set it up. Also, google 'skyrim stability ini tweak' I can't remember what the tweak is but it helps, and it's the only ini change that doesn't break the game in my experience. If none of this works, try cleaning your game or starting a new if you've uninstalled any mods, and cut down on the number of performance heavy mods you have. For example Skyrim Flora Overhaul kills my game on default settings with the number of mods I have.

 

Maybe that's not such a good example since there is an ini tweak to improve performance for SFO... But you get the idea

I have a little problem with the fix 033 :

the whipping scenes don't stop

The problem is that the whip is not enough damage. So the guard does not stop.

 

I found a temporary solution : lower health to 20 during the whipping ( with the console) and the guard immediately stop whipping.

 

Anyone have a solution to inscrease the damage of the whip ?

That is a temporary solution. I'll try to fix things anyway. You can also try to raise the bar for when whipping ends. There should be an option for that in MCM (can't check atm).

 

Which difficulty level are you running on? Do you take damage from the whip that heals back again, or is it that the whip does negligible damage to you?

So the whipping stops once health reaches a certain value? I got the infinite whipping bug a few weeks back too, and I had to reload a save after waiting 5 days in game and still being whipped. I don't remember exactly what happened with regards to health, but I think it never went below 50%, which was 50 health for that character. The whipping would slow down just enough to allow faster regen every so often.

Did you download and install the zaz Animation Pack textures file?

I believed I only downloaded the Animation Pack, not sure if there was any texture folder with it  :-/
