If I can offer one suggestion to replace the player automatic AI return to jailer, system that I hate with a passion.

 

Make the iron restraints un-removable like the collar, and add the "noactivate, noinventory" keywords to them and disable fast travel while wearing them.  This way if the player runs away from the jailer it would be suicide (there is no defending yourself while bound) , this would help the uh... helplessness and the immersive play.

 

This effect is already supposed to be there. You should be able to access the inventory, but not manipulate your bindings from that inventory.

Edit: Forgot to ask about the follow the jailer thingy. I've thought about this and I don't think that the jailer walking off and its now up to the player to follow, would be very immersive either. What is it you don't like about that teleporting to the jailer? It sounds like your player is usually stuck, which happens in stairs and so on, but not so much in the streets (in my experience).

 

The one thing I hate the most about player forcefully walking to the jailer is if player enters combat, I cannot do anything like run away or hide, I hate being frozen in place while being killed not very realistic or immersive. Now, I know I cannot defend myself because of the bound hands and all, but I should be able to run away at the very least.

 

Yeap, I still have that log, where do you want it. Should I just post it here, it's kind of long.

 

So it sounds like

1. The guard attempts to defend the player.

2. When you enter combat, pause any forced following.

3. If you run away from the guard, the guard tries to find you.

4. If the guard fails to find you within a certain time, you're no longer arrested. Still bound, and so on, of course.

 

There's a lot of other things that need to be added to make this work, but those are on my agenda anyway.

5. If too far from the city the guard does not complete the arrest, just loops.

Interesting. I haven't see this before. Where approximately where you when this happened?

 

For example the guard at Western Watchtower (near Whiterun) failed to arrest me, while the one by HonningBrew Meadery worked fine.

When the parade says

 

RecoverFinal nothing more happens, the PC stays on the ground with the croud clapping hands

 

Then after it gets late PC get brought back to prison

 

is it normal?

 

Yet i think it would better just some insults rather than whip from all NPCs

 

P.S. also some NPC expecially from hydra but not only, tends to get stuck in indoor prisons.

How long in game were you waiting?

 

When recovering, time scale is switched back to "fast", and then the mod waits for the next "heartbeat", which occur every 15 in game minutes. It could be that you have the "fast" setting to something that's not very fast, and so this final stage will take a long time.

 

I think it's possible to disable whipping by the crowd from MCM. You can select if there's a crowd to begin with, and then select if a few from this crowd will also whip the player.

Possible bug

 

Setting "USE NUDE SUIT" in Sexlab doesn't seem to work in cage scenario...does work in all other scenario's

 

(for those saying nothing happens in cage scenario, you have to wait a bit, if you wait a bit or click on wait for an hour the scene starts at least for me)

Not sure why this is happening, but SexLab sometimes works in mysterious ways. I'll check this out...

How does one change the default gag that is equipped when arrested?

 

Apologies if this has been asked before; 211 pages is a bit deep of an expedition for clarification.

Hello!

 

So glad to see a new version. I loved these new ideas, and I just tested them. For the parade thing, I had no problem, but I had some with the indoor cage scenario : the first time I tried was in Whiterun. There was nobody in the cage, and some naked skeletons without head in the room. Right after being locked up, the jailer took my PC out and that's all. The second time, also in Whiterun, there was nobody in the cage or in the room, but all the NPC reacted like if there were other prisoner. But there was no sex scenes, of course, so it never ended. After that, I tried in Morthal and it kinda worked, I had the naked skeletons again, but one of them was in the cage, not the other one. Since there was somebody in, it "worked".

 

I didn't check if these bugs were reported or not, sorry if they were already reported.

 

Anyway, thank you for your work! I just love this mod more and more!

Well, what I do is the following. I take a random bandit, warlock, etc, then replace all the stats, factions and everything else with generic "Prisoner" theme stats.

 

It could be that there is something changing what spawns from bandits and so on. Obviously, I didn't pick any draugr or so, but other mods could in theory add to those lists.

 

I can (probably) fix this in a coming version, if it is indeed the problem.

 

Do you have anything in your load order that could change things like this? Turn bandits into skeletons or so .... ?

I have a little problem with the fix 033 :

the whipping scenes don't stop

Yes, they're no longer timed, but instead they stop when you've taken too much damage. This is a problem because if you either is very high level, playing on low difficulty, or for any other reason don't take damage, they won't stop.

 

I'll fix this in a coming release (either after x seconds, or after you're down to y health).

I'm getting an Upgrade Error I followed the process but I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

An ideas how I can fix this? I removed all files from V32. Is there something I'm missing.

I ain't getting the error code however it ain't working even with new files. I forgot to add in some details before but I can get arrested and taken to the cell and the pillory but nothing happens. No one harasses my character at the pillory and lets say that the Guards don't visit my cell.

For No. 4 - make the shackles (hands and feet) un-removable like the hardcore collar is now, I still can't find a way to remove that collar which is awesome by the way. 

Actually, I did find a way to remove the collar...

 

 

If I transform into a werewolf the collar gets unequipped, then even if I put it back on - I can just take off again.

Any way to prevent the werewolf transformation while wearing the collar? I already added the "nomagic" keyword to it but I can still transform.

Hi, Whenever I submit to going to jail with this mod. The guards just walk away and do not take me away. Would there be a conflict with either a) Not having Fus Ro Doh. B) using Death Alternative or c) a Settings problem with Prison Overhaul. Those are the main 3 things I could think of that would interact with this mod that I have.

I am having an issue. The parade scene works but the pillory and jail events do not activate. I have them set to happen at hour intervals and i was in the pillory all day and the jail all night and not one whipping or torture or sex event played. Please can you help, i upgraded from an old version and when i had slaverun installed atleast the whipping scenes played. I started a new character and only the parade works, i am sad :/

My game crashes to desktop whenever I enter Dragonsreach during "Caged" scenario. Normally, I can enter Dragonsreach just fine and I don't have many mods installed, so I doubt it's the issue. I am missing something? It seems that "Caged" scenario works for others, so I don't know why Skyrim CTD for me. 

Parading trough town works fine, I guess...the jailer from Windhelm forced me to travel to Whiterun (naked and barefoot), which is cruel even by Loverslab's standards x). Was this intended (remporary?) or a bug?

When were you moved to Whiterun? During the arrest phase, or after being arrested? Where you taken there by a guard or by the jailer?

I have a little problem with the fix 033 :

the whipping scenes don't stop

 

The problem is that the whip is not enough damage. So the guard does not stop.

 

I found a temporary solution : lower health to 20 during the whipping ( with the console) and the guard immediately stop whipping.

 

Anyone have a solution to inscrease the damage of the whip ?

 

That is a temporary solution. I'll try to fix things anyway. You can also try to raise the bar for when whipping ends. There should be an option for that in MCM (can't check atm).

 

Which difficulty level are you running on? Do you take damage from the whip that heals back again, or is it that the whip does negligible damage to you?

cool mod. some minor problems.

1)Nom stop whipping.

2)In the cage scenario a lot people inside the cage.

3) In the parade scenario got 1 game freeze and in another try works fine. In the last one i just walk when pc stands and wait when is down.

Cage scenario crowding usually has to do with Skyrim pathing (in my experience, could be wrong of course), which is less than optimal. I guess that it could be improved if I fixed the navigation mesh on the floor in those areas.

 

Where did you get the crowding in the cage? (Whiterun or Morthal)

Hi, I really like your mod but I always seem to have issues with it remaining stable. The rest of my mods seem to run fine together.

 

Issues:

 

- Parade and or pillory eventually ends in freeze

 

It's happened twice now where I go to sleep in cell, wake up, am taken out of the cell by jailer. I have fast travel on "always". When the fast travel triggers, after about 30 seconds of frozen screen, the loading screen pops up and does its thing. It gets the stage where it's just about to load up the area (i can hear the sounds) and then completely freezes, this time for good.

Skyrim stability problems: freezes and crashes, usually come from other problems than mods themselves. I'd take a look at this guide for improving Skyrim. Of course, in practice, it could very well be Prison Overhaul that pushes your setup "over the edge", but it's still likely not a problem with Prison Overhaul itself that I can fix.

If you don't want to follow the guide, try turning off the crowd option in Parade, but that will make the experience "less fun" imo. I can't strongly enough recommend it though, it solved all my issues with stability.

 

- Cage scene (and maybe therefore a lot of PO) doesn't seem to work with Deviously Enslaved?

 

I'm not sure what you can do about this one, whether it be your end or you could collaborate, but as the author of DE is adding a lot to the already quite large list of devious mods it might become a popular requirement for LoversLab. Getting to the cage (dragonsreach) is fine, the 1st event triggered fine, but then it started mucking up quite drastically. Random whiterun woman teleported inside cage after 1st scene and said "oh a new fucktoy just what i wanted" and replied "Mmph!" "Got nothing to say (something like that)" which is i think might be deviously enslaved triggering as i had armbinder/collar/gag. So she was stuck in the cage and everyone went back to dinner.

 

The 2nd triggered event came and PO forced me to walk to the side of the cage. Then nothing, they all just stood around clapping. I tried to force it by restarting quests and such through the debug MCM but nothing happened. I then waited for 4 hrs and then EVERYONE was in the cage. I tried to unstick jailer and the cage disappeared. Then deviously enslaved kicked in again and i was enslaved to one of the guests, but couldn't move, probably because PO was still controlling my movement. I don't have a papyrus for this but I might if it happens again (or something similar happens)

 

Edit: Got cage scene and this time it got through to the end, however by the end there more about 7 people in the cage lol. Here's the papyrus:

 

I was led out of the cage, the jailer seemed to be leading towards whiterun so i fast travelled, and got an infinite load screen.

I think this mod is not compatible with other mods that try to control the player.

 

I'm in the middle of a project which will add slavery support to the player (and other characters) to Zap (which is a dependency of all these mods). I will work with DE author to just ignore characters that are already busy, like in this case. That would solve things.... DE can still maintain compatibility with other mods.

 

For the time, I'll talk to the DE author to avoid the player when Prison overhaul is running.

 

I also noticed this spam in my papyrus (this is just a fraction)

 

- Also the whipping takes forever, i think mainly because the guard punches as well wel dual wielding, which doesnt hurt at all. It eventually ends though, just takes too long.

Had some problems while testing it. Where should I begin...

 

1st try, basically default setting, mod did not start to work, just the vanilla prison setting, nothing connected to the mod at all

If you could PM me a log of this happening, that would help me nail down the problem. Usually, PO reports why things don't work.

 

2nd try, enabled the mod with "Force start" in Debug pane, worked, pushed to jail, same old routine with this mod, although it took a fast forward 1 hour to get it going though the "strip prisoner and then jailer sent you to cell" scene. Then jailer took me out (this was in Riften), locked at the X-cross, don't know if this was the "Parade" or not. Since it's default setting with "Force start" crowd and whipping were there, and one NPC kept practicing her one-hand skill on me until I felt too strange and reloaded the game.

Are you running Fuz Ro Doh, or have you disabled dialogue? Fuz is required, or scenes will lock up like that. I can't detect Fuz when it's running, so I have no way to tell you that something will not work.

 

3rd try, used "Force start" to trigger the mod, turned off whipping in "Parade", jailer took me out to the market, and then perhaps forgot me there since she/he was just taking drink, food, talking with others, so I fast forward several times until around 7 p.m I was again sent back to jail. Then nothing happened I just went to sleep, the next day, woke up, took out again and the same all over.

Could very well be a bug with the x-cross or so? Sounds strange .... again, a log would probably help here.

 

4th try, found out there was a new fixed version, downloaded and installed though NMM. Turned "Fast Forward" in General pane to "Always" and the mod was then triggered as supposed. But........... the "take prisoner out and forgot her there" still happened, 7 p.m or so, sent back to jail then same drill next day until I was released from prison!

Well, at least it's consistent. Maybe you don't have the right dependencies installed? Do you have ZAP and so on installed? Did you get any warning messages when starting the mod?

 

5th try, triggered mod in normal way, worked good there, but don't know what's wrong with Riften jailer, all same thing happened after that even I've had "Parade" turned off and all that could relate to it.

Parade works for most people (all?) in the sense that it doesn't block the mod from running. Log from this happening would help me nail it down for you.

 

6th try, thought to see how it could work in Whiterun, took Lydia with me, carefully config mod done, attacked a guard, and...............the mod was not triggered at all, so I went to sleep IRL since I couldn't take it anymore.

 

So, simply speaking the mod has some problems and did not work as intended. 

 

Thanks for making it through, hope you can make a new update to keep this awsome mod working soon.

If you submit to guards while on horseback, complete weirdness ensues. Give it a try to see what I mean. In the cage scenario, observers will sometime pop into the cage. Also, when a female prisoner is in the cage, shouldn't roles be reversed for male PCs? Also, the ring gag shows as a log gag for Khajiit.

 

Another thing, followers aren't ever really subjected to any punishment, but are either passive observers or punishers.

Good catch. I'll see what I can do about this. Haven't really tried it on a horse.

 

Log gag is a known issue for Khajiit, because there is no model that fits them that I know of.

 

Popping into the cage, ... well, I'll see what I can do. Don't hold your breath, though, I'm already doing quite a lot to prevent the ai from finding a path into the cage, but in Skyrim, actors teleport if they can't walk where the ai for some reason thinks they need to be.

 

I haven't done any work on getting the right gender for prisoners in the cage yet. That'll come at some point.

I ran into a bug with the Windhelm parade. When the parade ended, I ended up in pillories in Solitude.

That is really weird. I'll make a not to check this out.

 

Had you been arrested in Solitude before or similar?

I have a problem with Parade in Whindhelm, Jailer comes and grabs me and moves me to the place where all the people gather. Jailer puts a cloth over head ( no vision debuff ? is that intended? ) and tells me to run. I run around and gets a few whippings and then the jailer says ( don't remember exactly ) that it's over, I get a message that the crowd disperses and then nothing. I wait and nothing. I reset the jailer and all the other debug options and nothing happens. My PC is stuck in a kneeling position.

 

I had ATF warn me about something about timescale and will try and disable it and see if it changes the outcome.

No change when ATF was disabled, but I tried waiting for 8 hours and had fast move on and that seemed to move things along. I'm back in the cell \o/ hurray :) ... I mean no.

 

would have liked a similar effect to wearing the blind folds where it impairs the vision slightly but then again. I was tripping every 5m so the Jailer had it easy.

It's intended that you don't get the vision debuff. I kind of like the idea of a vision debuff (and ZAP supports it since forever), but I never found it nice to play that way. I guess I could add it as an option or so.

 

The delay for rising is an issue, I think. I'll look into it and see what's causing the problems.

 

The tripping may be too aggressive. You can tweak how it works in the MCM menu, and I'd like feedback on what works and doesn't work.

 

The objective was to prevent the player from moving at full speed, but rather be forced to stagger movement, and certainly to never "run". I guess some added instructions are in order. :)

Hi, I really like the new parade scene, but I found two issues, first the crowd does not see to follow me during the walk. The second complaint is more a logical one, being hooded kind of defeats the purpose of everyone being able to see the prisoner. Isn t there a yoke or something that would be more appropriate for a public display?

Also the pillory seems to be bugged. I m just left there standing for the time.

I want to install this mod, I install, sexLab, ZazAnimationPack (3 files) All is fine when i open my game, i unzip the archive into my Skyrim data folder, start the game and no crash but when i'm arrested it puts me face to the chest and nothing is happening.

can help me please ?

I'm getting an Upgrade Error I followed the process but I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

An ideas how I can fix this? I removed all files from V32. Is there something I'm missing.

I ain't getting the error code however it ain't working even with new files. I forgot to add in some details before but I can get arrested and taken to the cell and the pillory but nothing happens. No one harasses my character at the pillory and lets say that the Guards don't visit my cell.

Please PM me a log of your issues when it's not working, and I'll have a look.

 

The message you're seeing can indicate a problem. If in doubt, try restarting the mod (from the debug section in MCM).

For No. 4 - make the shackles (hands and feet) un-removable like the hardcore collar is now, I still can't find a way to remove that collar which is awesome by the way. 

Actually, I did find a way to remove the collar...

 

 

If I transform into a werewolf the collar gets unequipped, then even if I put it back on - I can just take off again.

Any way to prevent the werewolf transformation while wearing the collar? I already added the "nomagic" keyword to it but I can still transform.

 

 

I'll see what I can do. This is not for the short term, the next release will just focus on bug fixes and general clean ups. But it should be coming ....

Hi, Whenever I submit to going to jail with this mod. The guards just walk away and do not take me away. Would there be a conflict with either a) Not having Fus Ro Doh. B) using Death Alternative or c) a Settings problem with Prison Overhaul. Those are the main 3 things I could think of that would interact with this mod that I have.

If this happens, that's usually because the mod can't find some of the resources it needs to run. This should not happen, and typically indicates a conflict.

 

There can be many reasons for this, I think the most likely reason is that some mod is overwriting keywords on cell doors and so on in the prisons.

 

If you have a log of the problem, and possibly also a load order, that would help me. If you could try another city that also would be an indication of what kind of problem it is.¨

 

Try placing Prison overhaul last in your load order, just as an experiment. Do the problems persist then?

I am having an issue. The parade scene works but the pillory and jail events do not activate. I have them set to happen at hour intervals and i was in the pillory all day and the jail all night and not one whipping or torture or sex event played. Please can you help, i upgraded from an old version and when i had slaverun installed atleast the whipping scenes played. I started a new character and only the parade works, i am sad :/

This is the behavior if you're arrested with a low bounty. What kind of arrest were you going through? There is a short debug message popping up what will happen to you when you get arrested. (I can make this more obvious, perhaps.)
