Pantha Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 LOVING this mod but, two major problems exist. One caused by bugs, another caused by ommission. Firstly, I set the mod to allow up to ten days in jail, paying off 100 gold per day. That is okay except two things go terribly wrong with it. Firstly the first day or two pass by as expected and work fine, eventually things get stuck and the jailer does not do his job anymore, so I reset the mod, start my sentence over, same thing happens, start over, same again, start over, same again. Add infinitum! This is of course, simply NOT going to do! There's no way out of it, Escaping doesn't help as nobody will talk to you until the sentence is served. The other problem is, I begin to starve after a couple days. Is it possible to get the guards to FEED YOU once in a while? (Maybe they could just pass you some cooked beef, or venison and a couple botles of wine each night) (DON'T use bread, cheese or apples because in some of those mods, there are stale versions of them that make the player sick and the vanilla examples of those items WILL turn out to be the stale version You'll be safe with cooked beef, venison, Cabbage soup, Cabbage and potato soup, then just two bottle of mead, wine, ale) Presumably a LIVE prisoner is more useful than a dead one. Perhaps you haven't considered the IMMENSE popularity of the basic needs mods, but, a LOT of people are using them and compatibility with them is GOING to be essential to the survival of the popularity of THIS mod. By the way, I had to install and remove and re-install this mod 6 times to get it to work. (not all in one sitting) I believe this is a newer version though that I finally got working. Never did figure out what was creating the issue but, the new version seems to have taken care of it. Aside from those two basic issues, GREAT work. Loving the concept and execution of that concept. Well done.
PubliusNV Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 I don't use RND, so I haven't faced the starving problem, but I remember seeing an option in the MCM menu having to do with whether food is available in jail. Have you looked at that?

traveller_phi Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 I have survived on the prison food with RND. The bread wasn't stale, and was served with ale. Soup is also an option. I haven't tried it with a max stay set higher than 2 days though.

It means that in Whiterun, for example, instead of your PC facing towards the center of the marketplace with the butt towards Arcadia's, your butt is now facing the marketplace with your face towards Arcadia's. So if you play only in the first person view, yes, you wouldn't see who is approaching you.
Senick Posted March 22, 2014 Posted March 22, 2014 hello, I'm having some issues, I cannot for the life of me get this to work atm, despite having had it work previously. The xpoMain state to say "yes." I've tried all the troubleshooting on the first post, I have fus installed, but have even tried disabling it and reloading regardless. I've checked my /scripts and /scripts/source folders after uninstalling it and am unable locate any file names with "xpo" or "xazp" in them. Zaz is installed and up-to-date, I've placed it at the bottom of the load order, I even started a new game just to see and it still doesn't work, every other field says "yes" but not xpoMain. Halp!

Thats how fast forward works dude so that's not a bug, it only skips the current transition (i.e from jail to pillory, from pillory back to jail etc) not everything
TheOnlyLite Posted March 22, 2014 Posted March 22, 2014 When I get caught in Ivarstead, I fast forward and get sent to Riften Jail. The jailer just stands there and does nothing. I tried waiting and everything, but nothing progresses. I just get stuck there and I have to reload...

Screenshots of new content. I was hoping for a bridge patch between SD+ and XPO, but now it looks like that isn't needed. Are you expecting any conflicts with the SD+ bounty hunter event?

I had something else I wanted to do first, so fought and defeated her. After I test out whether I can get through the prison sequence in Riften I'll try surrendering to the next one. Kudos, xaz! PubliusNV Posted March 23, 2014 Posted March 23, 2014 I managed to get my PC arrested in Ivarstead, fast move to Riften, and the entire prison sequence played as expected. So it looks like your Riften fix worked! A couple of minor nits: 1. The first 3 of 6 whipping animations in the marketplace, and the one administered by the jailor in the jail, did not play. Same thing as reported before, the character with the whip assumes a whipping stance but does not draw a whip, the whipping animation does not play, but the sounds do play. 2. The cross that you moved did avoid the idle point that the jailor likes to stand in, so that's a great improvement. But the cross seemed to intermittently sink down into the pavement a little bit, then pop back up, making my PC's boobs bounce. Unfortunately this happened a lot, except during punishment animations.

Ever since installing this mod, after enjoying the changes it made, I noticed that whenever my PC tried to use am armorer's table, an enchanting table, or a tanning rack, my PC backs off from the equipment before I can select what I want her to do. If I keep trying I can get it to work, but it takes 4 or more attempts each time. Each attempt at the tanning rack generates the following line in the papyrus log, in case it helps: [03/22/2014 - 11:48:11PM] [Zad]: [ObjectReference < (0010D3DA)>] contains blocked keyword [Keyword <CraftingTanningRack (0007866A)>]. Not OnSitting. I'm posting this here since the problem only started happening after I updated PO, and have made no other changes to my mods.

It used to be the case that for the pillory npcs would put on a strapon even if they were just whipping or spanking you. I assume they now only wear them if they're fucking you. I think that's the change.
xaz Posted March 23, 2014 Author Posted March 23, 2014 Greetings, I am using Prison Overhaul for more than six months and i and had no problems with running it. With the last 2 versions however, when it is time for the Jailer to get me to the Pillory, the Jailer opens my cell door, puts the cuffs on, but then the jailer just stands outside of the cell. I tried the Fast Forward option to teleport to the pillory but it doesn't work and just remains checked on the MCM options. I tried this with a fresh new game as well and still have this issue. Any clues how to fix this would be greatly appreciated as this is one of my favorite mods. This sometimes happens because pathing fails, there is too much traffic and so on. Does it always happen or just sometimes? It is possible to move the player to where (s)he needs to be, but it requires some console commands. For the next version, I'm going to add in options for moving the player to the various markers and so on that the game uses. That should make it easier to solve problems like this. It sometimes happens when it is time for the Jailer to get me to Pillory, other times when i first get arrested the Guard walks to the jail path but Fast Forward does not work again, and the "invisible leash" that drags me towards the guard doesn't seem to work too, so i can just wander around in the city in cuffs, though i am unable to talk to people or activate doors and items and have to reload my last save. There could be many different reasons for this. Hard to say why this happens. PO talks a lot in the log, could you post the log from a game where this happened?
