noretoc Posted March 27, 2014 Posted March 27, 2014 I keep running into this bug. During the arrest something happend that causes me to get stuck unable to move. The latest time is in Dawnstar, a second guard apparent;ly didn't realize I was already being arrested and tried to arrest me. The jailor than got into a fight with the guard, killed jim, toook me to the cell, but then I was uinable to move. The release the restraints, and all, I can punch, but I can not ealk anywhere. I just stand there. Now, when a scene is triggered over time where the guard takes me out, I suddenly walk fine, but then once that is done, no movement again. Even after he releases me at the end.
ylenard Posted March 28, 2014 Posted March 28, 2014 First of all, thanks for the awesome mod. It works great for me and makes the prison experience a lot more fun. I have two small requests though if you find some time: Could you change the max time spent in jail to something bigger, like 30 days? Could you add a second feeding to the punishment for petty crimes? Perhaps either a second food item when getting back from pillory, or adding food to the cell when jailer takes you from the cell to the pillory, to not complicate things. Pretty please, if it's not too much trouble .

It's probably an incompability with one of my mods, but since I have no obvious mod which changes torches I haven't yet figured out which one causes this. Just in case someone else has the same problem.

Just in case someone else has the same problem. I have no idea. ... Sounds kind of weird that removing an item from the inventory crashes the game, but you never know with Skyrim.

I encounter the following behaivor: A guard/bounty hunter captures my character and is take to jail either directly or after waiting for x hours. Then, we walk to a npc - probably the prison guard - and everything gets stuck in limbo. No dialoque, i cant move and neither one of the npcs seem to take action.

Check the troubleshooting section on the first post. Sounds like a missing dependency.

Uthyn Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 Found a minor bug, not sure if its been seen before. In jail at Morthal, female jailer, male guard. Bread/Ale selected. Whipping scene starts with the female jailer, set to jailer only, 100% female chance. And set to jailer only, 100% female after being jailed. Got lucky with a female jailer from the start. So, after the whipping scene finishes, the guard gets up and starts attacking the jailer. It appears that the guard treated it as an assault and responded accordingly. Any idea what might be going wrong? Is there another mod affecting this behavior? The only death mod I have is sexlab submit and a few that add Devious Items. I also have the brawling bugs patch installed. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I can add further details if anyone needs them to see what might be causing this issue.
tommorowneverdies Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 cool mod, just thought of let you know of a bug i found, when i went to use crafting,grindstone or the table where you upgrade armor my character was playing the animation for those events for maybe a second before quiting the menu's. it made it impossible to upgrade/enchant items, i turned of all my mods and re enabled them one at a time, untill the bug came back, it was only when i had XazPrisonOverhaul.esp activated. i have all the requirments but iv decided to leave it off for the moment. anyone know a fix/workaround for this issue? anyone else having same issue?
PubliusNV Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 As my PC was being released from the Morthal jail, a dragon attacked. She was left naked and bound while the guards and the jailor fought and killed the dragon. Afterwards, the jailor marched back into the Morthal barracks and she was left standing there, with no player control. Fortunately I was able to reload the last save from the jail, and use the fast move while the jailor was marching her out. That got her freed and her equipment back just before the dragon attacked. Not sure there's much you can do as a modder to avoid that kind of thing, but I thought I'd mention it.

Fix is to disable bounty hunters by raising bounty or turning off the quest. There was a discussion about this a few pages back.

It could be mod affecting melee damage or similar. I'll have a look at it ....

I think there are some issues with the bounty hunters, at least. I'll had one bounty hunter - i cant recall the name but it was a guy wielding a 2 hand axe which i could then loot. Ebony Axe i think? - who constantly approached me and opened a dialog window without any option to choose from. Had to kill him. All other bounty hunters worked flawlessly till now. Oh, if i could wish for just one feature, it would be a hotkey for fast forward.

Disable "MoralityGuards" in the Mod "wip-spectator-crowds-and-guards" Perfect. I'll test that later today. My elf has a 3 day sentence, so plenty of time to test it out.

I assume the ai will then assault the player then 'capture' at low health? I am using the live a deviant life mod and have a 5,000 bounty in every hold. I also have the sexlab submit mod set to auto submit to prevent death. Do I need to disable submit to be captured by the hunters or will they eventually drag me off after abusing my poor elf? I am not using SD+, submit is the only combat sex/enslavement mod running.
shane4244 Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 I haven't played this mod in about a year I just installed it to check compatability with my mod. Wow lot of changes I liked it before but it's really great now. The broom stick animation on the pillory really caught me off guard lol. Anyway fantastic mod it also adds quite a bit of immersion if you use hardcore because your truly stuck serving a hard sentence without being able to wait or sleep it off. It makes you really feel like your being punished for your crimes.

I don't know if it's intended to work this way or not, but I find that I usually have to move into the cell myself. That can take several attempts if the path is blocked by the jailor and another guard.

I am not using SD+, submit is the only combat sex/enslavement mod running. I think those are the wrong kind of bounty hunters. There are bounty hunters in vanilla, and they will demand your money. They bounty hunters in Prison Overhaul will bring you back to justice dead or alive. If you have Death Alternative (on Nexus) installed, then they will bring you back if you're knocked down. If you resist without that mod, they'll attack and maybe kill you. Submit will probably clash with Death Alternative. I've entertained building a plugin for other mods than Death Alternative, but I haven't had time to do it yet.
