I hate to keep this Thread off track but I must take exception. Women are especially welcome on LL. On any site that "is considered pornographic" (from the LL rules) women tend to be as rare as unicorns. Therefore, while many may feel that the opposite is true, I know that I (and I suspect the other Moderators) tend to cut women a little (and only a little) more slack than we do the guys (and the majority of others whose sex is unknown to us - which is their right of course).

Oh, and I'll use Eva's avatar as "my sex wish for today" to help get us back on track. ?

Ha Ha Reaction GIF

> Maybe moderators do accept women more than other LL members, which is praiseworthy, but I was saying from what I saw how some number of men treated me: like shut up, go fuck and don't play smart. :)

But, it is only me and I am a woman which is not very welcomed here as I could noticed no matter how many LL members would disagree about this statement.

Some of the biggest and (for me) most important mods here on LL are made by women.

I don't think it's a good idea to play the "I'm a woman, I need special rules" card.

If I read comments I see everyone firstly as unique human, with all the strengths and weaknesses.

So if you are a woman that plays oddball you are not different to a man who want's to win the oddball game.

You yourself paint the picture others will look at and depending of what your agenda is you will have to deal with the results ?‍♂️*?‍♀️

Disclaimer: Exceptions confirm the rule ?

When I chat with other members here, I never look at their profile and check which gender the other person is. Sometimes you give yourself a hint with your avatar about your own gender, but you don't have to specify your gender here. You can also be a futanari (which I would really appreciate) ?

I don't think it's wise of me to share this, as it's honestly none of your damn business and I'd rather keep it private... But fuck it. I don't care.

Since the subject of women on the site is currently being talked about. I will confess that I am, in fact, a trans woman. It's something I've known about myself since I was a teenager, but have only recently started being open about. I've been in the process of transitioning for 8 months or so now.

Thank you so much for this courageous statement

I wish you all the best and godspeed on your long journey, which is still ahead of you, until one day you will stand in front of the mirror and see the person you have always been in your heart

I can only join in with my thanks. I feel so comfortable here as a gay man and nobody takes my obscene thoughts wrong or when I turn on the straight guys ?

> Joining the wishes and sincerely hope that certain sex prejudices will have no place on LL regardless of being plain member, or having status of moderator or administrators. I know I sound like a drama queen lately but, fuck it, I can't stand certain behaving and regardless jerks, idiots and male chauvinists, LL is still the best site I ever been to and i have been in many social sites.

Totally understandable, I get where you're coming from. I know there are certain problem "spots" on the site that we haven't been great at addressing. I'm truly sorry if it ever feels like site staff or myself "doesn't care" about a problem, I assure you we do notice more than we let on. It's just a real difficult thing to find the delicate balance between being a free-wheeling/welcoming community, while also having to enforce a specific set of rules among millions of registered users while being consistent. And we're by no means perfect at that yet.

I know that we have wonderful moderators here, who can not have their eyes and ears everywhere, but always do their best to reduce such grievances

Speak for yourself - I'll never be perfect at it, but I'll die trying. ?

Then let us know the next time you hear a stupid twaddle here and we will together kick them in their balls

I appreciate the enthusiasm but please leave the Moderating to the Moderators. I know it can be hard when you are not (I've only recently become one) but it works better that way.

Yes, that was meant to be amusing and not literal. Stupid of me beeing comical on such a serious subject. Should I hear a stupid twaddle, I would turn to you trustingly. I sometimes shoot over the target with my big mouth and apologize to you. I don't want to interfere in the moderator's duties and I know that I'm in good hands with you.

I will honor my moderator and always show him the respect he deserves.  *** big hug ***

> Thank you. I admit, I was often angry at you and your team. But I also know you guys tries hard to make the site smooth and easy which isn't one hour project. Sorry, I am very temperamental woman and if the things aren't as and when i expect them to be, I react. My husband and wife knows what does it mean. But they still love me just as moderators were patient with me and similar LL members. I really want to follow the rules and motto: "Live and let live" which some members shitting on it. You know why am I quiet lately? Because I don't want to be provoked and to react in order that my threads wouldn't be locked. Some male members here doesn't like when woman oppose them. They turn into predators then which it isn't easy to get rid off. Concluding the litany: LL is the best site I ever seen and I want to be here. I am not playing any game but I like to participate in various discussions. This is my virtual home/community where I mostly feels like my own home. :)

Is it me, or has the default font 'shrunk' in size, and is the text in currently existing posts shrinking?

I have to directly set the FONT size to my text otherwise, it becomes fairly ... small in stature.  Almost like every font size went down a teir.

Just asking.  Has anyone else noticed that the font size has shrunk?  I mean, when I wish to copy a section from a quote, even the text within the square Quote Widget is barely legible.  And this is at font 16?

font size still looks the same to me.

It looks the same to me also BUT I have the Customizer set to larger fonts. (It's a pain in the ass getting old.)

Hahaha!  ???

I like the way, you handled this Situation.

I absolutely didn't know what's went wrong.

It quickly became clear, who can read has a clear advantage, here.

Nice show, Ashal. ??

regarding the  " spoilers "   and  images size is it possible to make it automated ?  ;  i mean as you add any thing.image to recognise it and put it as a spoiler , like when we link a post within LL it ask ' read as plain text link ' .

I had an issue in Firefox after the update of this page where I only got text displayed on the left side of the screen, making it impossible to read or do anything on the site.

Turns out the bug was caused by an extension called "Dark background and light text".

After I disabled it for this page and reloaded, everything was fine again.

Just thought I would post this here in case anyone else runs into this bug.

Sure, readded the buttons. I don't have a way to easily add new fonts however.
