To be clear, I wasn't correcting the typo. WebM and WebP are different formats. If you want to post converted animated gifs, you should be converting them to WebM NOT WebP.

Don't we have a thread for that around here ??  Otherwise, I could recommend kdenlive but AFAIK that's not available for every computer

> Yes, there is a tread about webm posting and Rames posted good post about it and two links. The problem with webm is  that the video display is very huge, bigger than youtube's. Since I want to post several video clips in one spoiler, it takes a lot of space. I don't know. I just don't like it. I will continue to convert it to gif. Thanks for your help.

Gif is way heavier than Webm, avoid if possible.

Both are stored on the servers disks, and consume space for mods.

YT links are preferable because are just links. They use about zero space.

For sure you cannot post everything as YT.

Just keep the size small. Do not post a 20 mins video.

A quick heads up, the site has recently updated to the most recent version of IPB, and with it has come various layout, theme , and functionality changes.  Nothing as it is right now is final, and things will be in flux for a few days while I tweak the updated themes in various ways.

For people who used the full width version of the theme before, click the toggle button at the top of the site (next to the messages icon) and you can select fluid width there.

If you notice anything obviously missing, broken, or such in the current setup, let me know here in this thread and I'll look into it as necessary.  I'm open to suggestions for changes as well.

Not sure where  to ask about a week are so ago  I noticed  replays  to post I can't  see  it show a white  line.  No replays. I use my phone  to connect  we are not allowed  to use personal  pc  on this network  do to security  that's a rule  its a place where I Iive and work only updating  drivers  are allowed. ..

It has zero impact on the speed of the site.

And. no, we are not going back to the old one.

Hello. I didn't know where to ask. Sorry if it's not the place. Why when a mod exceeds 100 megabytes does it have those numbers as suffixes of the name?

Ashal is aware of this, as he responded to me a while back after  a forum update.

Not sure why that would be happening.  I know why the filenames get prefixed with the numbers, it's part of how files are handled on the server and has always been the case. However, these prefixes are usually kept only for internal reference and files are supposed to be publicly listed as the same name they were uploaded with, if that makes sense.

In anycase, like I said, not sure why it'd be happening. Something must've changed with the recent update to the forum software, but I'm not currently aware of any change that would be the cause of this. I'll look into it as I'm able.

As you may guess, I encountered something quite similar.
