Jᗩᑎᗴᒪᒪ Posted July 28, 2021 Posted July 28, 2021 The page doesn't let me enter with my original account (username).☹️ It asks to enter with an email address and this makes it another account, in my original account I posted and shared content created by me ( Sims 4 CC) and I would like to continue using that account because I'm working on more s4cc that I would like to share in this web.

Guest Posted July 30, 2021 Posted July 30, 2021 (edited) I fixed my problem with FF, but I discovered one new thing. If I log in LL unchecking "Remember me", I have to go through security check again after logging out or closing the browser. It looks like FF doesn't record or memorize cookies from LL after anonymous logging. Edited July 30, 2021 by EvalovesEP
aragonit Posted July 30, 2021 Posted July 30, 2021 I just changed my password and there is a problem with the template:

SacredDatura Posted July 30, 2021 Posted July 30, 2021 Not sure if this is new, but it seems like resizing the window LL is on below a certain width triggers a handy mobile/app-style bar at the bottom with Notifications, Messages etc. Thought it was a nifty little feature. I actually wouldn't mind if that bottom bar was available at all widths.

Something isn't right now. Perhaps not understanding? What do you mean when you say that you login anonymously? When I think anonymous, I am thinking that you just login as "guest" and look around? If you were logging into your account, it was not anonymous. It should never be. There was some password and user information stored somewhere that was used to give you access, possibly from IP address of your computer that was being recognized and sent by the browser to LL, even if not your normal laptop? Perhaps FF has some shared user device linked information? I used to often get pop ups from Google about "syncing my devices".

I would never prove my point that a security check didn't exist for registered users when we logged in anonymously. It isn't there by FF but by Ashal. I don't like when I have been treated like stupid or ignorant (not by you) or being ignored. This is the last time I ever post anything in this thread. Edited August 2, 2021 by EvalovesEP
Guest Posted August 2, 2021 Posted August 2, 2021 @EvalovesEP, ahhhh! I understand now. I did not know of this feature or that it was called as "anonymous" here. Many places call such as "incognito". But regardless what it is called, now I know what you refer to.

I'm trying to test this but I can't recreate your pic. Where did you go to see this? edit: never mind, it's a hover. i didn't know that happened either. XD edit again: i logged back in after using the "do not remember" and it logged me right in without having to do re-captcha or anything. hmm... edit again again: okay, i found the hidden thing. i logged off everywhere i was logged on then tried logging on without and then with the "remember me" box checked. each time i was able to log on without having to re-verify. but maybe it's because i did it immediately after i logged off? i'll clear the cache and try again another edit: okay, while staying anonymous, i cleared the cache, signed in with "do not remember," signed out, signed back in on a different account, signed out, and back in with this account but didn't need extra verification at any point. this is all on chrome. gonna try on other browsers. Okay, everything works on Firefox without re-authentication. next, edge. First time i've used Edge on this computer at all for anything. It didn't ask for a re-captcha even on the first sign in. I'm sorry, @EvalovesEP, I can't seem to re-create your issue. Is there something else I'm missing that you were doing that I could try? Edited August 6, 2021 by jfraser 1

I've had a few responses to contact us bounce because the reply email used on the form ended up being invalid. 2
qoop272 Posted August 11, 2021 Posted August 11, 2021 (edited) I'm not sure if it's bug or some of my extension messed it up When you download something here, it will leave a cookie (I assume this is for download countdown) The problem is, this "download queue" cookies won't disappear after you finished downloading file and if you keep downloading file and never clean cookies, your cookies will be flooded with this download queue cookies It will become so large that website will throw you "400 bad request: Request Header or Cookie Too Large" Edited August 11, 2021 by qoop272
