Does the Devious Devices for him in DD5 install setup replace the DD For Him (Reboot 3.0) June 7, 2018?

 

Or is that in addition too the DD For Him file?

 

Do we still need Devious Framework and DFW support (used for leash game and furniture locking) by Legume?

It replaces it, you shouldn't be using reboot.

I have a translation of Devious Devices for Fallout 4 and Deviously Cursed Wasteland, packed in ba2, with fixes for Alice's vault and MCM menu with Devious Devices and DCW global value settings (instead of using console commands.). DCW itself works great for me in the form in which I have it. And it is also in Russian.

It would be possible to add more specific keywords ,"zadc_FurniturePillory", for furniture instead of only one "zadc_FurnitureDevice"?

 

Adding more specific keywords can help with finding correct type of furnitures placed in a world, so if modder want to find closest pillory , to have sex animation, so modder can get only pillories instead of all furnitures.

Is there a place/barrel/something to summon by console with all devices inside? For quick testing :)

No. Mod uses NiOverride for heels.

In fact, you only need RaceMenu, which you must have as a requirement for XPMSE.

HDT physics is still required.

Both of them were never supported and never needed although they mostly worked and probably still do. They definitely bring new problems to your game though.

 

Note that they are based on ZAP furnitures which have no interaction at all with DD contraptions.

Many DD devices have HDT support, so if you want to build these versions, you will need it. HDT heels shouldn't be needed by either DD or DCL, as the boots/shoes were converted to NiOveride a while back. Personally, I have never removed HDT heels from my loadorder though, so if I overlooked a few shoes, I'd not have noticed. :D

You never needed them at any point, and I will never officially support them.

Been trying this out.  So far only issue is that when I use the devious device unequip feature from the MCM in Devious Device Equipment by Inte, the unequipping of devices is much slower than it used to be.  

 

Is there any way to speed that up?

I have an issue with DD where if you manipulate a device, unlocking it will only display the message that I manipulated it and am able to take it off but it never actually gets unequipped. Does anyone else experience this ?

The animation filter needs a tweak.  While going through Devious Cidhna: Pirate Prize, all I was getting was blowjob anims while in the straight jacket.  Other anims were being chosen but then switched to BJ animation and thats all that was in the list of available animations.  Once I got the jacket off, the animation list expanded to pretty much everything.

There's some mod called 'Devious Daedra' that I saw posted the other day which might help.  I didn't really look at the description properly though, nor have I tried it out  personally.  I can't remember either what versions of DD it applied to.  If my skim read was anything like close, though, I think it was trying to achieve the sort of wider availability you might want, but there's obviously no guarantees that it will do that.

With DD5 unchecking "Use Bound Animation" in the MCM doesn't seem to work at all. When a scene starts the Armbinder or Yoke will be removed but the scene will only play a solo/masturbation animation. A Pet Suit, however, wouldn't be removed and used behavior as if "Use Bound Animation" was checked on.  I could cycle animations but only solo ones would be picked. For some reason when "Use Bound Animation" is unchecked the filter seems to think vaginal, anal and oral aren't permitted despite only wearing wrist restraints.

 

I tried checking while my character was wearing an open chastity belt and would see the same results. The armbinder and yoke would be removed but would only play "DDBeltedSolo" despite oral and anal being permitted. As before the pet suit would work as if "Use Bound Animation" was checked on.

 

I also tested with a ball gag and saw the same results. Having "Use Bound Animation" unchecked is not working as it should since it only seems to play solo/masturbation animations despite not wearing any blocking devices.

 

This is fairly basic setup for testing, using Match Maker to start scenes, not using SexLab Utility Plus and not using a certain mod that completely disables DD's animation filter. Is the intended behavior with "Use Bound Animation" unchecked is to use normal SexLab animations or ones from SLAL packs? And the only thing the filter should be checking at this point would be devices that block vaginal, anal and oral animations?

I'll point out that I was doing these tests with Nemesis instead of FNIS. To be sure I un-installed Nemesis, installed FNIS and started a new game, doing this did not change anything as I still had the same issues.

I'm having a ton of glitches with the latest version.

 

1. A lot of pieces prevent sex when they shouldn't. I'm not talking about plugs and such, i know they got an update to block. I mean devices that one wouldn't expect to have a chastity effect.

2. Some items just don't equip anymore. No devious menu, no nothing. They say they equip in the skyrim menu but nothing shows up on the character and opening the menu shows that they aren't equipped. So far the iron chain harness, and iron shackles no longer equip. Now if these items aren't in the mod anymore they shouldn't be showing up in my menu. But they are and I am assuming they're supposed to be there since I can't think of a reason to have had them removed.

3. Devices for him doesn't seem to work at all. Male characters, player included, never seem to equip devices of any kind.

4. Still have no idea what the devious contraption thing is or does. There's an esp and items related to it, but so far it does nothing. Not sure if that's a glitch or if there is just some requirement I don't know about. Maybe contraptions is a separate mod and this is just a compatibility thing? I don't know but it seems unclear.

6. All devious wrist items unequip when any kind of sex animation occurs. Kind of kills the immersion of bound sex.

7. EDIT: Disregard this one if you read it before the edit to this post. Found the source of this specific issue.

 

I'm really trying to give DD5 an honest try and all, but so far my experience with it has been close to game breaking (or at least mod breaking).

 

And before any criticism or common responses start, I will reiterate: this is the only new mod I have installed in months and everything worked fine with the previous version and I followed all directions. I even took the extra step to clean saves, tested the issue on new saves, ran FNIS, built all pieces in bodyslide, etc. Checked all the right boxes on install, right load order.

After try to struggle out from X-Cross it's says - you failed - not a problem. But after that struggle animation not stop - i start a new game, initialize mods and drop x-cross from inventory in Mara LAL cell.

It's correct?

Also i use SE version maybe this is in LE version too.

Nevermind I can´t unlock anything at all. It just removes my key and the device stays on. Oh well looks like I´m stuck for real this time ?
