I only ask this because, after reloading from a previous save (since I didn't want to do the DiD quest with an absent head), an NPC placed a Balloon Hood on my head and it gave me the invisible head issue.

 

Might be an issue for Beast Races with the DiD quest restraints? I guess anyone playing a Beast Race may want to leave the chances of DiD to start at 0%.

Sent a new message to @Kimy about it. It's a custom DCL item that didn't have beast races added to the armor addons.

Looks like I forgot to forward the changes to corset slots in 5.0 with For Him. For Him was reverting it and adding slot 49 back, breaking belts.

Is there any means of actually talking when you have a gag in? Or am I doomed to be stuck because I can't do the dialogue to finish a quest?

Both are visible now but the belt clips under the corset and bits poke through :)

The Beta DCL (v9.0)  is in the DCL thread if you wanted to try that version now.

Did you managed to improve the behavior of DD items on NPCs? I often had problem with random unequiping of DDs on NPCs, for example when walking in a bath, and sexlab ignoring DDs like belts and armbinders when choosing animations.

Yeah DD5 did script changes to improve them on NPCs.

Reporting an issue related to DD for Him, and the Chastity Belt of Shame  the guard applies in some of the punishment options.

 

It's showing in my PC's inventory, but it is not equipped visually (the inventory does mark the item as equipped).  I believe it is visible on my female PCs, and I did rebuild the 5.0 DD devices in body slide, with no change in the visuals.

 

Do i need to build these for males separately?  Boots, gloves, shackles etc are not having the same issue, and i do not see a male preset for the body.  Am I missing a file?

 

A second issue that may already have been reported is when an armbinder is equipped on my male PC, his arms do not follow the line (and of course the hands disappear, which I would expect.) I didn't note the particular item in this instance.  It was rendered, just made him look 4 armed.

 

Overall though, got to say i'm really thrilled with the extension of DD to the discerning male subby, not to mention the beast races, which I also tried out in a test run recently.

Is there a way to make the blindfolds stronger? Between ENBs it ranges from a bit dimmed to almost not dimmed at all at the max value in the MCM and I'd like to make it a lot darker. Thought of editing the MCM code to allow for higher values, but I don't know if that would work?

As far as I understand it, no you don't need to build for males separately, Bodyslide is only for females.

 

I also got an invisible steel yoke on my male character just yesterday.

Additional data point-another, general chastity belt item did equip. (Open), equipped by bandits from another devious mod-which  event also gave my poor little sub a vaginal plug.  I don't even want to THINK about what the bandits did to my long to be suffering Altmer to make that possible.  ;)

Screenshot? Chances are that your skyrim ini or enb is also doing something with blurring which should be 1 major thing making it harder to see well.

The thing is, I want it to be harder to see well, as close to pitch black as possible, but it barely dims with Rudy ENB :/ Used to be way darker with Silent Horizons ENB

That device isn't from the DD framework, it's from Cursed Loot - which, to my knowledge, doesn't support playing as a male.

Well, there is a mod "Submissive Lola" which does a blindfold game that actually does fade the screen to black with smooth curve. Perhaps @HexBolt8 and @Kimy could cooperate to create a darkness slider for DD (or just use the existing slider, even easier). Of course it can't go to full black, even with slider maxed as there's no point playing if you genuinely can't see anything.

Had the same problem with RealVision ENB, posted the question in here and was told to switch of some post processing in my ENB. That actually took care of the blindfold problem, but also made the game look less good, which totally defeats the point of using en ENB in the first place.

 

What I ended up doing is to use the "dark fog" mode instead. It's a bit fiddly to configure to your liking, but you can configure it to get decent results.

I've managed to find the switch in rudy's enb that enables/disables "fade to black" and that did it. Dark fog is really nice, but it would be even better combined with the leeches mode I think ^.^

The blackness in Submissive Lola's blindfold game either comes from the ZAP blind hood or from a DD blindfold, it's not actually from the mod.  Sub Lola does do a fade to black for the hair change event, which just uses the ApplyCrossFade function with an ImageSpaceModifier.

 

 

Regarding blindfold settings, I personally prefer "DD Blindfold".  With Blindfold Strength at 1.0 (and in first person mode for this, of course) I'm nearly helpless, only able to faintly see torches and fires.  It's really effective.  That's without ENB.  As noted above, players using ENB might have to adjust their ENB settings, but that's not DD's fault.

@Kimy First off, thankyou for your amazing amount of work on these mods. Quick compatibility question, will an older mod that requires say the older ddi mod, e.g devious regulations by Srende, still work if I install dd5 and remove ddi? Asking because got to wondering if the other mod would still look for ddi, or if it found the resource files then it would be fine. Cheers, and thanks again.

DD5 still keeps the dda, ddi and ddx master files separate for backwards compatibility. this means mods that look for the esm should still work, but it also means you don't get to save esp slots.
