As far as the vanilla kneel marker goes, the captives & NPC's will use it after a captive is freed. I've also seen it with the crosses but mostly the kneel marker. Being a Raider Pet is a very good way to test that. You can free captives without the Raiders getting pissed. Just don't trade with the captive, that will aggro them to the captive until they enter bleed out.

It doesn't do that with pre-placed furniture like the ones from Up To No Good though. Marking furniture as no-sandbox won't affect CC, the scripts don't look for that flag and the captive AI package is an explicit "sit" package so it isn't affected by it either. Thanks, I'll definitely go the no-sandbox route with my provided furniture in that case. Edit: Or maybe not, since I'm placing them by script (in order to make it a soft/opportunistic dependency) I would need some scripted means of toggling that flag, and I don't see any. I wonder if setting ownership on them to some other NPC would work... Speaking of which, were you ever able to spot why pre-placed furniture still doesn't get reused even after going to another cell where new captives spawn and then returning to the one with the available furniture? If you're losing dialogue options you have mod blocking or causing errors. Which could be a plethora of things. 1
Cars333 Posted July 14, 2024 Posted July 14, 2024 My game crashed seconds after I started it over the F4SE after I figured out what was wrong. I installed AAF, Prisoner Shakels and Mod Configuration Menu from Nexus and it worked. Then I installed CRX alone with no other mods. Started the Game. After 3 sec. game crash. Deinstalled CRX Game Crash. Only after I stopt Vortex managing my Fallout 4 I could start it normal with out a crash. The other mods like Torture Device and ZaZ do the same thing under the same conditions from CRX. Could some one Help?

Might sound tedious to completely start over but I sometimes miss things multiple times and having this to go back to helps

So I think there is something wrong with the Torture Device mod. I will test now if I can use my other mods from Loverlabs like the Commonwealth capative mod with out the Torture Device mod.

Are you also using Devious Devices 2.0? A lot of people don't notice that it also requires AWKCR, but if the plugin for Torture Devices is enabled the game will try to also enable DD 2.0's plugin and then crash due to lack of a plugin for AWKCR (another of its masters). You can obviously address this by installing AWKCR, or by switching from DD 2.0 to RC9.

None of those would need updating for the new game version anyway. What makes you think they should?
Cars333 Posted July 14, 2024 Posted July 14, 2024 Even the switch from dd 2.0 to RC9 crashed before the Main Menü and it was only when I selected one of those mods that Fallout 4 loaded to the Main menü without a problem so I think that these mods have something together that the others don't have.
Han Duo Posted July 17, 2024 Posted July 17, 2024 is it possible that you make some areas to be blacklisted? like for example in concord. I use the SS2 mod and concord rebuild itself over time. Its weird to see the raiders there spawn in with captives. 1

The Random Overlay Framework mod includes sample BodyGen configuration if you don't feel like creating your own from the instructions in LooksMenu's main description. Randomizing skin color is harder, I don't think I've seen any mods capable of that, but there is a More Female Captives add-on which will give you a lot of additional variety. 1

This also makes sense, flirting successes and failures are like some of them are always grateful and some are not.

Before the FaceGen data, I experienced some severe stuttering when approaching settlements (sometimes a literal 2-3 second slideshow). FaceGen data eliminated the stutter. 1

Slorm Posted September 3, 2024 Posted September 3, 2024 Update Suggestion Would it be possible to have an option toggle added to make the Settler just flee the area after the dialogue when you release them (either get out or sent to a settlement)? It's a real PITA when they try to engage enemies stark naked and without weapons when I've dismissed them.

There's nothing in Commonwealth Captives itself that needs to be updated for NG. You will need a compatible version of AAF, however (version 1.1.1).
