I have a captive that committed a murder on our walk back to base (she killed a surrendered raider right in front of me).  She's going to get enslaved as punishment.  I tried putting handcuffs and a shock collar on then letting her free and attacking hoping Violate would cause her to surrender but she didn't.  Just sat down and got beaten to death 1HP at a time by HR's enslaving baton.

My character is currently encountering the same dialog options when conversing with Commonwealth Captive NPCs. The thing is, my character was handcuffed during an AAF violate scene. I was able to break the handcuffs at a workbench, but they're still locked on her wrists (and look cool to boot).

That's the problem.  CC sees that one of the items you are wearing has the Real Handcuffs keyword so it assumes you are actually handcuffed.

Yup, use that additional mod then familiarize yourself with copying and editing the records in FOEdit, using face ripper, and looks menu.  You can create an infinite amount of them that way.

One thing I have noticed, playing this mod, is that when I release captives, "Cait hates that."

 

Which maybe gives us some hints about Cait's past.

 

But, also, when combined with DD, I keep expecting Cait to want to be equipping devices on the captives. And/or on Nora, if Nora keeps messing this up. All in good fun, of course. Maybe Cait would be fine with releasing captives from their stationary restraints if they have first been properly outfitted.

Firstly, the mod is great. I haven't taken it out of my load order in years. I came across the Fallout Any Faces mod that lets you automatically assign LooksMenu presets and names to newly spawned settler or raider NPCs, and I'm wondering if there's any way that I can get FAF and Commonwealth Captives to interact. My understanding is that the captives in Commonwealth Captives and the More Female Captives addon are pulled from a pool of unique NPCs, while FAF applies LooksMenu presets to vanilla settlers/raiders. Would there happen to be a way to get Commonwealth Captives to spawn vanilla settler NPCs?

The captives are actually spawned exactly like vanilla settlers. So if FAF works with vanilla settlers, it'll work with CC.

You're right. I've been using the More Female Captives add-on for so long that I forgot that the named captives aren't part of the original mod. With that said, I disabled MFC and just ran CC and FAF by themselves and I still couldn't get the FAF faces to apply to the captives. Going off of the FAF mod author's comments, FAF works on NPCs that are part of the REFarmerFaction faction and don't have the 'Protected' flag. Looking in FO4Edit, CC settlers are already part of the REFarmerFaction. I tried removing the Protected flag from all of CC's female settlers in FO4Edit, but that didn't do the trick either. I'll have to tinker with it some more, or maybe just wait for future FAF updates.

I was thinking in terms of the design for a new mod.

 

I haven't thought much beyond "cait adds dd to settlers" though, for the design of such a thing.

Well, Cait doesn't like settlers to much. But really hates Raiders, Gunners, Super Mutants.... basically everybody/thing. She a cranky bitch. 🤣

She would not be "harem building" though, nor would she be selling settlers to anyone.

 

She would be "teaching them a lesson" or "teasing them" or "just having a little fun".

 

She would have excuses like "it's for their own good, after all" or "the wasteland is a tough place and they need to learn how to deal with it" or maybe even "this is nothing, I survived much worse".

I noticed that my female character changes to a male voice if the sex is aggressive. Is there a setting for that un this mod or would it the animation?

I noticed one strange thing with this mod. After dialogue "I did you a favor how about bla blabla..." sex scene is starting. And after scene my character can't shoot from any weapon. I can switch the weapons, but cannot shoot. Anyone have this or only I have this issue?

 

edit: If I'm changing the aim/block/attack keys in game settings to other keys, everything is working. Only mouse keys for aim/block/attack is not working.

I've had similar issues long before CC was around. I found out that the CustomControlMap.txt file was partially corrupt. Deleting it and letting the game create a new one fixed the issue. Since then I've got it set to read only.
Not saying that's your issue, but wouldn't hurt to check.

I tried to use this solution but it's not working for me. Will try CustomControlMap.txt

I have such a problem. I had to reinstall the game and all the mods. Those of the captives I have already freed are in place in the settlements. But new ones stopped appearing. Is there a solution?
