Different type? Will that cause any issues with updating to the new version?

 

Also, I noticed you have an option to be crippled when a raider beats you during vulgar dialogue. And since the mod also calls on specific tags for blows, vag and anal, I was wondering if maybe you'd make an option to have anal rape also cripple you for a bit (like in real life).? No big deal, but would sure as hell be amusing. I feel like this feature should have always existed. :classic_happy:

Was approached by a menacing raider outside Diamond City. While preparing for the sex scene to start, he waltzed too close to security and an eye bot and was killed. I got the message "The Menacing Raider is no more", but the sex scene proceeded anyway, with a dead and naked raider at the PC's feet as she was raped by an "invisible ghost". After the sex scene concluded, the game crashed.

Oops I think the hand over from Hardship to AAF had a glitch as I think there is a check to see if NPC is alive or dead before starting the scene. but this is not isolated to Hardship as is dose happen with other mods. just got a bit unlucky this time. but as for the game crash thats not normal.

 

Is it possible to repeat it again but this time post the papyrus log file?

You take damage from it. I don't think crippling would be immersive. As far as the next full version, yes there will be issues. It will require a clean (never had hardship) save. If you go back a few pages I have a post where I go over the plans.

Yeah, this is just one of those bad luck things. I could add extra alive checks to kill the scene during but that seems like overkill on already heavy scripts for something that is a rare edgecase.

I've been really enjoying this mod.  I haven't yet done a complete Beggar Whore playthrough, but even just the Menacing Raider/Sensible Gunners combined with Real Handcuffs integration is worth the download.  I love that getting handcuffed isn't a death sentence, but at the same time you can't just traipse through the Commonwealth helplessly and not risk any consequences.  Also, your writing is top notch.  I'm looking forward to seeing where you take this.

Update:

 

In testing the Raider rape script I notice that the escape isn't very reliable. Part of this problem is I had BW mode set to re-equip if Real Handcuffs are applied which means the Raiders don't always aggro. Now that there is an MCM this is unnecessary and will be removed. Another problem is inherent to AAF in that when you stop an animation and it has a lot of frames, depending on timing it will keep playing,. I have a theory how to deal with this but it remains to be tested.

 

EDIT: Initial test is positive. (Though could be a fluke) For other modders who want to quickly stop animations, what I did was create a custom position based on the vanilla standing idle (for both actors) and set the frame count to the lowest multiple (7) The created a function to switch to this position right before stopping the animation.

 

EDIT: It worked three times in a row so I'm willing to call that a success.

Well, I learned something new. An improperly set up animagionGroup XML can make animations unable to be stopped.  I had made a custom version of Leito Standing Doggy 2 without the insertion frames and with an aggressive tag so it'll work better with Porno music and the way I use the animation during rapes, but had misnamed the third stage.

 

And with that I'm calling it a day.

Any chance you can PM me the version of that XML that causes the unending bug?  I'd like to take a look at it and build a QA submission for @dagobaking so he can hopefully prevent that problem on the AAF side.

Well, I fixed it already but I can demonstrate it. This is what the mistake looked like

As you can see a simple cut and paste typo. I assume it's because the sequence couldn't complete..

 

The error was this: The animation didn't end when I called the stop scene command. None of my end of scene events from my main script fired either, You see I manually control the scene duration and have the duration set to infinite, so I can manually stop it. I dunno if the same would happen with a script using a set duration. I'll include the script for reference. Anyway all my end of script stuff not tied to AAF, like robbery, did go off which really confused me for a while.

Update:

 

Got the Raider Cunnilingus rape script updated to Topic Info, with the escape fixes and a conversion from Rufgt's old anims to BP70/Atomic lust both of which will be required from now on. I am tired of having to bend over backwards to make the lesbian compatibility optional, and besides I want to use the Atomic Lust kissing and masturbation animations elsewhere.

 

Gonna call it a day. Need to keep a more reasonable output speed to avoid burning out again.

Update:

 

Short day today but I got the Raider prostitution script done. That one really benefitted from the conversion as it had many repeated phases which in a topic info I could make into a function. 

 

I also did some experimentation and let me just say I do some fucked up shit in the name of testing (and boredom). Much like that one Morty "I wish incest porn had more mainstream appeal", lol.

In seriousness though, the Atomic lust kissing animation, when one is bound works PERFECTLY with all human actor types which is great news. The shoulder grab also conveys control in a nice way with the cuffs on.

 

I may take a side tack from script conversions tomorrow and try to implement threesomes into Raider rape, as I have some ideas.

Update:

 

I've got a basic threesome scenario working with the raider rape. At the moment, if a random dice roll occurs, the spectator and rapist are both male, and you have Savage Cabbage installed you'll be double teamed rather than having a normal rape occur after the abuse phase.  

 

This was a bit of a nightmare to get working on the existing script, The first way I tried to do it didn't work. Now that I have it I can take some time and figure out how to do interaction and ending events. Probably gonna take most of tomorrow off though since this was such a bitch.

OK love the mod, but I have reached slutty bedrock I fear... (apologies in advance if this has been addressed)

 

I do not know when or where this happened but now every time I zone into a location I am greeted by a random person (or even the eyebot in Diamond City which is hilarious) saying something to the effect "I have a lot of guts showing your face around here or are very stupid..." and that I "owe them caps".

 

I get the option of saying that I will "get get my reputation up if they let me leave", at which point I am tossed out of town and end up at the Robotics Disposal, or having "heavy submissive sex" and begin bleeding out and get crippled every few seconds.

 

While all this makes sense from an RP perspective (kinda... I mean I don't know who I owe money to) I am not finding a way to rectify the situation. It's kinda making the game unplayable.

That must be from another mod. None of that dialogue is from mine. Maybe CAP? (I haven't used it yet but seems on theme)

CAP is amazing btw, BUT... Flashy(JoeR) said almost the very same thing and refered me to 'Hardship' being the culprit. lol 

 

Well after deactivating Hardship I can confirm that the issue remains, so the search continues. Thank you for your time and again, thank you for the most amazing mod.
