UPDATE:

 

As some of you probably guessed from my uncharactaristic lack of updates. I've been having some trouble getting back into working on this. It's been kind of a shit week in general, so I'm takking a couple more sanity days.

 

Hopefully I'll get back up to speed in a day or 3.

@Tentacle Demon So I have an issue.  This mod is no longer installed and it's still there.  It's 1.5.3.  It can't/doesn't load when opening my mods, but in game it's there.  I cannot uninstall it because it's not "there", but once again in game it's there

Are the files in the Data folder? or whatever folder MO2 uses.. if you use it.

Also, uninstalling a scripted mod mid run is a VERY bad idea. But I'm sure you know that. ;)

 

Anyway.. I've seen NMM do that and I just re-installed the mod then uninstalled it. BUT.. that was a long time ago.

Pretty much what Izzy said. It says on my OP that I won't do tech support related to anybody not using Mod Organizer 2. If you are using MO2 just delete the Hardship folder.

Sleep for 8 hrs. minimum, if I remember right. or it might have been 10hrs.

Also, you might want to put a cooldown on how often the guards can take advantage of you.  I was walking around Goodneighbor and got pulled into the statehouse to "pay my dues" five times, and that doesn't count the number of guards who decided to take a turn once I was in there.  ;)   Unless thats by design...

It's by design, but you can just leave. It won't penalize you. You will probably have to do the guys standing by the door though. It'll only teleport you if you are outside. There already is a cooldown for each individual guard by the way, but I think it's the rape cooldown which is really short, like 1 hr... so yeah you could end up repeating if you stay.

So i installed this mod, all dependencies, MO2 shows me there a no missing dependencies and the game works. I meet Preston Garvey and go through the dialogue with him, and agree to suck his cock, it comes up with a message box and i select how i give him a blowjob, then it ends and he walks away, no AAF animations play.

 

Also Cant talk to People like Trashman Carla to be able to buy supplies

off the top of my head i would say FSE is not installed correctly but I could be well wrong.

Click on this link: https://discord.gg/cP8Fq9z     go to the tools section and download the GFV.EXE file. Read the how to use instructions and install it.  It will give you a report of your installed AAF.

Yeah I just unzipped the download and gutted my fallout 4 to remove the mod.  Had to ensure sleepy time remained, 'stairs at Ms. Anna sleeping on a teddy bear'.  If I notice anything being off I can just load an earlier save and go from there.  I must mention that 1.5.0  and earlier have no issues with non MO2 installs

Does this mod only has three pimps? One in Diamond City and two in Goodneighbor?

This mod is just awesome. Too bad mods about player enslavement died in development a few years ago.

I try downloading that file and it just says failed Virus detected. I installed AAF hardship through MO2 by downloading the bottom file in the download page here, extracting it to MO2 and enabling it, i get no warnings just when i beg no anims play, just message boxes, and If i try talking to someone i cant trade or continue on with missions

It's not a virus of any sort, the message you got was a false positive. You mite need to disable your virus protection to run it. Do animations work when not using hardship?

You need Hardship_1.5.3 then the "patch" of choice.

Here's an odd thing.  If you solicit an npc and they force themselves on you and refuse to pay, then you come back later after joining up with a pimp and solicit them again and make them pay reparations, afterwards they will only ever respond to attempts to talk to them with "E-excuse me".  You can never have them as a client again.   But, if you get a client who attempts to force himself on you after you've already joined with a pimp and scare him into backing down, you can solicit him again and he will pay. 

 

Would it be possible to fix the former case so that they're just cowed into submission but are still approachable afterwards?

Going through my AAF logs making sure everything's error free, I saw I was getting a warning about the _T_ Staged Leito FF Missionary 2 position getting removed, resulting in the Staged_Leito_FF_Missionary2 animation group missing. A bit of hunting revealed you're shipping a reference for that in _T_Leito_FF_Adjusted_positionData.xml but I'm still at a loss for why it's erroring there (I have Leito's, TOPTBTA and Indarello's installed in that order followed by your 1.5.8b for Indarello's/UAP). If I comment out that position ID in the XML, the AAF error goes away.

 

Is anyone else running into this? Is it something to do with Hardship needing an update for the newest Themes (and subsequent Indarello's animation fixes) release from a couple weeks ago?

If you look in the special instructions I tell you to remove that XML. It's not used anymore. It'll be removed from the next full version.

Nah, there are 2 options one where you get the big payout and they won't talk to you, and one where you just forgive and forget and get no payout.

 

I got the flu guys so god knows when I'll be getting back to work.

D'oh, thanks! I usually treat the changelog entries as upgrade notes because LL makes it hard to tell what has been altered in/added to the description page. As usual if I'd just waited, this would have fixed itself I guess. ?
