requiredname65 Posted January 15, 2021 Posted January 15, 2021 And there are no models for raiders or mayor. Pimps could use models for npc from other games such as new vegas.

Yeah it's extremely impractical, not to mention that not even all the NPCs voices are modelled and in general based on my experience with TTS, while you can get realistic results some of the time, it would more than likely be distracting and unimmersive for many others, and I'm too much of a perfectionist to want that. That said I will definitely look into using it for some more targeted situations and in upcoming mods, and will probably remodel SOME of the player dialogue in Hardship since the Courtney voice model seems extremely convincing. This is an extremely promising and cool tool, but it isn't magic.

In mean time I'm so downloading all the files incase beth lawyer get twitches.

Anyway now that I'm messing with it a little... It is VERY VERY tricky to get good results... using it will be very time consuming... so yeah any use will be pretty minor... Still the idea of a Queen Isabel that sounds a lot like Astrid from skyrim WOULD be pretty awesome.

A few voice lines for certain situations and the majority unvoiced seems the best bet if any voices are added. I've been playing around with it too and it is quite hard to get it to not sound a bit robotic

For me, Nora is a bitch nugget! Cait, Curie and Desdemona work pretty well.

But at this stage in development, using it for a large mod would take the fun right out of it. LOL Unless it was a full robot overhaul. nah... it's still be a pain in the ass.
Tentacus Posted January 16, 2021 Author Posted January 16, 2021 There's another problem. The author of the voice tool has this on the page: Note: To keep things fair, avoid using the tool in an offensive/explicit manner. Make it obvious where you can in descriptions that the voice samples are generated, and not from the original voice actors. Any issues you cause with this are on you. It doesn't seem to outright forbid use in adult mods but it could cause drama. Lastly it's pretty buggy and editing results in problems a lot of the time.
Slorm Posted January 16, 2021 Posted January 16, 2021 @Tentacus There's a new AAF out (v161.1). From memory some stuff was changed then changed back but I would assume Hardship may need an update before using it. (unless whatever got changed back left things where they were - if that makes sense). I'm still with Cyberpunk atm and partway through building a new PC (i9 10850K) so haven't tested it.

Thanks I'll upload the new versions of Hardship and Crackle.
Tentacus Posted January 16, 2021 Author Posted January 16, 2021 Update 1.59J is up! This update is necessary if using The current AAF beta 161.1 otherwise you will get the animations not ending bug. 1

It's pretty much the reason you don't see high quality versions of these tools today. There's been much higher quality generators in the past, such as Adobe VoCo, but the very real concerns of what the technology implies has kept it from ever being commercially realized. Like look at how uncomfortable Jordan Peele is in this demo:

Like look at how uncomfortable Jordan Peele is in this demo: Yeah. I think we've all heard Homer Simpson recount the tragedy of Darth Plagueis the Wise. Still I'll defiinitely get some minor use out of the tool here and there. The Courtney Taylor and Claudia Christian models are shockingly good. The Nate one is shit... so right there widespread use is impossible even if I wanted to invest the time... which I don't. DontSuckCock.wav Lookin2Party.wav Camilla.wav Those are right from the synth. You can make the illusion even better running them through audacity and adding a VERY slight reverb. Tricks the brain by making it sound like it was recorded with a mic 1

Tricks the brain by making it sound like it was recorded with a mic I've been playing around with it to finally voice my NV mod, Tryout, fully. A couple of tricks I've learned is to try and not start a sentence with a vowel sound, you can slow down the speech to get better inflection by putting two spaces between words if necessary, using capital letters changes the inflection a lot, and you get can more convincing results on one or two word phrases by having it repeat the word(s) over and over again and edit the file in Audacity to take the version you like best. Also, AdultFemale11 from NV is Laura Bailey, and works as well as Nora and Desdemona. This is a clip that came right out of the synth without any editing that blew me away. For instance I had to spell "Camilla" as "Cumilla" in the above test to get her to say the name right. Anyway, good luck. I'm just reinstalling NV for Frontier so I imagine I'll install a barebones sexout setup as well.

Rather quick & no audacity tweaks. ThePussyPlan.wav 3

Tentacus Posted January 19, 2021 Author Posted January 19, 2021 Update: Okay, I am working on the mod again. Fairly small stuff so far it's taking time to find my footing again. I am also taking some time to mess around with the Frontier. It's pretty inspirational, and also an object lesson in scope creep... Anyway you guys should check it out if you have FONV and all the DLC. Me being me I also reinstalled a couple of Sexout mods... and My god if I ever complain about modding Fallout 4 again fucking shoot me.
fred200 Posted January 19, 2021 Posted January 19, 2021 Fun getting back into FNV - but mods have not aged well. Sexout invalid actor with Tryout is the worst. Seems to break scripted scenes also.

I can trigger sex once then have to save and quit the game completely to do another sex act, which is fine given how little I intend to use it and I can not be arsed to look for a solution, given I probably won't play Frontier all that long. All I can say is that the New Vegas remake mod can not come soon enough. And yeah I will totally make Mojave specific Hardship content. 4
Nickolos1818 Posted January 19, 2021 Posted January 19, 2021 That's odd, I find modding NV to be easier then F4. I guess mainly cause I have played/modded NV far more then F4. I made a stable install of Sexout mods I liked years ago and saved the files in an archive ready to be installed for when I reinstall the game. Have had a fresh NV install waiting for months now for Frontier to be out. On a mod topic note, I like how captured creatures seem to work well with hardship. Wasn't expecting it to, meant to talk to a settler in Hangman's Alley and a captured mirelurk king managed to bump into the settler and I talked to it. Not sure how that happened but was funny.
ZetsuboSeishin Posted January 20, 2021 Posted January 20, 2021 I think the MCM Menu settings dont get saved for the AAF HARDSHIP - beggar- whore - I am using MO2 and I dont see the .ini file being generated on the settings folder from MCM. Other mods who use MCM have generating the file but not this one.
