Edit: The morphs work perfectly, I am just such a noob. I saw the belly poke through the dress when she was laying down or sitting on a chair. Since she was in the first trimester I figured it would poke through all the time when the belly grew. But I didn't think about collision physics. It's the collision physics pressing the belly but somehow the dress wasn't effected.

 

This mod works flawelessly!

There is not.  You could do it with a script, but there is no function you can call from console that would do it.

I believe what he meant is that you could write a new script to do it (calling existing functions in FPE's scripts), or you could write new functions in FPE's scripts directly (though that gets ugly long-term since you'd need to patch and recompile the script you changed every time a new version of FPE is installed).

 

It's not complicated for someone who is willing to spend time going through scripting tutorials and reviewing the script sources provided with the FPE download, but it's not something you're going to do without engaging in a bit of a learning process.

My belly and boobs keep growing at alarming rates.  it said i was 1.3 months pregnant but my belly was bigger than it was the last time at a full 9 months and it got that way very fast.  none of the doctors acknowledge my pregnancy and i used the abort pregnancy on the debug page.  it says i am not pregnant now but my boobs and belly keep growing.  i have tried all the reset boby morphs but none of them seemed to work.  i am afraid i am going to explode at some point.

You're sure you're using this mod and not Family Planning Enhanced Redux instead? What you describe is a known bug with second pregnancies in the latter, which is why I'm wondering.

uhh...the esp says familyplanningenhanced.  is that this one or the other one i am not really sure.  hmm the download for this does look different looks like i might be using the other one.  i guess i will go look for solution over there, thanks for the heads up.

They both use the same plugin name because FPER intends to be backwards-compatible with FPE, so you can't judge based solely on that.

I can't answer that for you. FPE is pretty solid with a basic set of features. FPER has tons of additional features and many new bugs (also it's not clear whether the maintainer is going to make any further attempts to address them and has been on a bit of a hiatus for the past couple of months now).

Heya guys, I am having a bit of a situation atm with this mod and the quest to 'find the father' after being violated. I understand that in some circumstances the father may be found and approached for a variety of dialogue choices, which I find to be a pretty cool feature. But, I am wondering what happens when the father is a creature and not a talking npc. My character seems to have been impregnated by a mole rat, and furthermore it is now dead... so what exactly am I meant to do when I find the corpse? Any answers would be much appreciated, thanks

I don't allow creature impregnation so I don't know the reason for this, usually if it's a human you get a notification and the quest completes, so others will need to answer that part.

 

However if you just want to clear the quest from the active quest journal, open console and enter:

 

setstage FPFP_Daddy 170

 

and that will clear the quest (technically it fails it which is correct)

Note that FPE only does nonhuman babies through addons, and the only current addons I'm aware of for it are the one for super mutants and the one for dogs. If you do manage to carry a molerat to term, you won't actually give birth to anything. (Or are you using a different mod like Family Planning Enhanced Redux which uses the Wasteland Offspring addons in Wasteland Dairy Framework? But I'm pretty sure that mod disables the father quest automatically for what it terms "monster fathers.")

Thanks for the info. I do use the fp enhanced more creatures mod, but yes I think you are correct in it still not allowing all creatures to become fathers. I ended up taking a contraceptive and the father quest failed anyway, but maybe next time when I am more established in my current save I will actually wait and see what happens after the 9 months passed.

I'm having the same issue but with Dogmeat. I finished the quest via Setstage as above, then had him join as a follower and dismissed him, and he won't stop following me. Can anyone give me a way to get him to go home?

Wondering if someone can give me some clarification on what is meant to happen after giving birth. I waited the nine months then went to visit a doctor, at which point I completed the objective and was told I had successfully given birth. The thing is I didn't get any notification about a baby entering my inventory, and I've got through every category in my pipboy but cannot seem to find the baby in there at all. Is it possible that it was a miscarriage? Would I have received some kind of notification if it was? I checked my character perks and effects, but there is nothing about the results, so I'm a bit stumped at this point and not sure what I should even be looking for or where. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks

Are you sure you're using this mod and not the redux (it has birth options and outcomes some of which don't produce a baby in your inventory)? Was the father human or do you have the mod configured for pregnancy with other species, and of the latter do you have a baby addon for that race?

Hm, the plugin is labeled as 'fp_familyplanningenhanced', but judging by the amount of options in my MCM it could very well be redux. I do have the baby addons installed also, and I'm fairly certain the father wasn't human. Do you suppose there would be a specific cause for my issue, or could it be simply put down to a bug in the mod?

FPE Redux uses the same archive file name and plugin name, so you can't tell which you have just by looking at  that. If you pull up the top-level page for it in MCM though, just below the title and version you'll see "Redux By Invictusblade" if it's FPER.
