I don't really know anything about that mod, but it should work if the servitron body has the proper morph sliders and you built it in BodySlide with morphs enabled.

Well, it doesn't. Using the FG version, it uses the same sliders as the FG body. One cause of it might be that the Servitron is essentially an Automatron that is made out of multiple meshes that are put together to make an android-esque body. Might be that Family Planning Enhanced is looking for a slider in one place when the body consists of multiple bodyparts that all have individual morphs?

It doesn't go into that level of detail.  The LooksMenu functions that FPE uses to apply morphs apply to the actor as a whole.

I'll take a look at the Servitron mod and see if I can figure out the problem.

Alright, thanks. I do want to add that it's impossible to use the LooksMenu command yourself on Servitrons in-game as the game crashes trying to do that.

Is there a limit on how many babies a character can give birth?

I wanted to see if TWB looksmenu sliders or LooksMenu Body Sliders Extended do bypass or corrupt the limit to the morphs set by this mod here.

So I was playing around and encountered a bug in which the character (had multiple babies before) reaches the end of the current pregnancy, the top left screen message about the "I'm going into labour. ..." thing but the corresponding quest screen does not appear or start. Talking with a doctor does not introduce the birth. Waiting the maximum time does not introduce birth. The Character does not give birth after a while. I have not yet tested if the babies "in the belly" can grow up into adults.

I had the same issue after many births with the Milking Human Kindness mod, thus I suspect there is something happening after many births. Maybe FallUI Sleep and Wait is the cause and the extended Sleep/Wait periods make funny things happen.

Steps to reproduce:

Take a character that had like 20+ babies.

Get her pregnant (MCM: Chance, Fertile, Multiples,... 100% whatever you like)

Wait until the 7 month quest screen. (I use FallUI for waiting in some small cell)

Wait until the "I'm going into labour. ..." notification appears on the top left screen.

Notice how there is no corresponding quest screen appearing.

Wait until the birth should happen and notice how the birth does not happen and the character remains forever pregnant.

Things I have tried:

Reset the lasting pregnancy body morphs, as sometimes they reverted while trying to figure out this bug.

Removed all the babies from the inventory and placed them at a distant settlement. As I suspected that them growing into Settlers around the same time of the birth event may cause issues.

In case of the Milking Human Kindness mod, selling the mutant babies to the trader regulary to prevent them from growing up.

Tried it with puppies as I wondered if they count different.

Talking to a doctor.

I was thinking about upgrading mid game to AAF Family Planning Enhanced Redux v4.025 (has a birth limit but can be changed) but I had troubles getting the morphs to work and I am not sure if using the ReSaver method for a clean save will make the current grown settler disappear (maybe I have to use a renamer mod for them to keep them?).

Thank You

No, there is no built in limit, the mod doesn't even keep track of how many babies the player or NPCs have had.

Possibly.  This mod relies on timers and mods that manipulate time scales and time passing could break something.

Does anyone know what this is about (from FO4Edit)?

Does anyone know what this is about (from FO4Edit)?

The first 4 sets of errors are because those are female NPCs but they have some male Face Morph entries.  E.g. NPC E80026D8 is Adult Female Asian Settler, but the record includes FMRI index 00000000 which is for males.  Those look like early NPCs where most likely male NPCs were copied, gender swapped, and edited, rather than created new.  It's harmless, the game ignores invalid FMRI entries.

The 4 baby potion items are no longer used, they are from an old feature that allowed you to craft pregnancy chems.  The records still exist so that if someone updated the mod the NPCs wouldn't just wink out of existence, but there is no way to access them in a new game.

Hi,any chance bloatfly projectile impregnation mod/script is sill available? I'm almost sure I downloaded it for FPE,and it was EgoBallistic's...could someone reupload it,please?

Redux version by Invictus is too big for me,so I was hoping for a stable setup with FPE+More creatures;only thing missing is this script where bloatflies have impregnation chance on attack.

Hi everyone, quick question for you all.

I've been playing around with the chance options for this mod and I'm wondering if anyone else had this experience where the modifiers (fertility for instance which multiplies the base 3% chance by 10 to 30%) doesn't seem to apply to NPC-NPC "interactions"? It seems to me like if I set the base percent change to 30, the number of pregnancies that occur between NPCs seems relatively normal, though if it's left at the base 3%, it never seems to occur. Could this be due to an interaction between another mod or is this something you guys have observed as well?

EDIT: I've fallen victim to the evidently widespread error of mistakenly posting in here instead of the REDUX page. I do like the features of that mod but I'm going to be switching to this one.

No, there is no built in limit, the mod doesn't even keep track of how many babies the player or NPCs have had.

Possibly.  This mod relies on timers and mods that manipulate time scales and time passing could break something.

In case of a stuck pregnancy (or similar things), how would I restore things in working order without losing the current grown up Settlers?

In the Example I had before the going into lab... notification was on the top left screen but no corresponding quest as usual started.

Also is there an option to transform creature pregancies outcome into normal settlers instead of creatures?

Open the console and run the command

CQF FPE CPF "GiveBirth"

You can do the same thing with an NPC:

CQF FPE CFF refID "GiveBirth"

Replacing refID with the reference ID of the NPC

If you have a baby add-on installed for that type of creature, then the baby will be whatever the add-on dictates.  However, you can enable creatures to father human babies by turning on the "Allow Creatures" option in the FPE MCM.

First about the add-ons, I removed the creature add-ons and now babies are human. Works fine.

Then the console commands for inducing birth, they also work fine.

So I made a test to see if within the next pregnancy the birth quest will start and the birth will occur itself after some time passes (like usual).

Sadly the birth quest does not start and I only get the small notification test on the top left screen ("I am going into lab...").

Even after waiting 24h the birth does not occur and I have to use the console commands again.

I suspect the FPE birth quest has troubles, so I looked online into other repeating (radiant) quests not starting.

Maybe some command like: SetStage *BirthQuestID* 0 could help?

Or whatever makes this quest running needs to be restarted.

As for now I reverted to my actual gameplay save but I just wonder what I do in case it also gets affected.

The console commands (CQF FPE CPF "GiveBirth",  CQF FPE CFF refID "GiveBirth") at least make it workable should this occur.

Thank you!

Well, the "I'm going into labour" message happens immediately before the FPFP_Labour quest starts.  I suppose it's possible somehow that the quest is still running so it can't restart.  Try doing

stopquest fpfp_labour

After that hopefully it will start normally at the appropriate time.

Hello,

I have installed the mod and I was curious to see the full cycle of life.

So, I had some pregnancies (with the proper notification) and women at 3 settlements. After a while, I started receiving notification of births.

Great! I was interested to see the babies and/or the mother's carrying the baby. Sadly, I went and check the locations and I could not locate neither the baby nor their mother's carry the baby.

What I am doing wrong? The install seams to function as configured, with notifications and body changing shapes as time progresses.... ??

Do I miss the furnitures/cribs? And/or is there an expectation NOT to see the babies and see only later on some young adults?

Lastly, I have Wastleand Offspring and I would be interested to see about obtaining hybrids or docile animals, but I am a bit behind on checking that mod as I have yet to acquire the perks. How would that integrate with FPE? Anyone care to explain?

Many Thanks!!

It sounds like you're confusing this with Family Planning Enhanced Redux. That's the version which has wearable babies, interactive cribs, and integrates with Wasteland Offspring from Wasteland Dairy Framework.

That is what I was afraid of. I used the Redux on a previous run. Then I followed the F guide that suggested this version was better suited.

What would happen if I tried to change course and uninstall the FPE and install the Redux version? Any risk I am ending with a broken game?.. I spend already 30 hours so far....

Thanks for this great mod @EgoBallistic :)
We are now a happy parent couple with my gal Piper :)

Coming from Skyrim I was a bit surprised the baby is not visible as "armor" piece on front :P Would be soo cool to have that.
I came here to read the description fully and now I understand I need to place it at "home workbench" location to have it grow.

Thanks :)
(P.S.: A shame you don't plan on adding more features, your mods are top quality)

That's one of many additional features in FPE Redux, but that fork (as its author readily admits) has fallen victim to substantial scope creep and so is full of numerous unaddressed bugs.

  • 2 weeks later...

I dont know if im just missing something, or if its just that I'm having a mod conflict (and I have a lot but everything else is fine) the whole pregnancy works great, quests work awesome, doctors, etc, but when I have a baby it never is actually born. Like it tells me that I have a baby but nothing ever happens as in baby being in inventory, baby growing up, etc. everything from the birth on doesn't work and I don't know why :(
