I believe the problem is population. It turns out Thanos was right. The Stellaris engine was only design to handle so many population. You can get the infinity gem mod and dust away half of the universe when it gets laggy. A lot of things will be fixed after it XD

The population lag is one of the mayor issues of Stellaris and Paradox have aknwonledge of that. I think they are trying to solve the problem but there is lot of stuff to solve and bugs to fix, so soon or later maybe we can see the population lag fixed in one way or another

I believe the problem had been raised before the economy overhaul, where the old tile system was in place. We're unlikely to see a change in recent future. They had claim multiple times that they had optimize the engine. But so far, feels the same to me

Well things in palace goes slowly, the Devs need think and apply a solution, it isn't easy such press a button. Maybe when they decided thorw the tile system, didn't think much about if the game engine could handle more information that the pops are. I think that Paradox is listening to the player base and they will apply a solution maybe not in the inminent future , as gameplay goes frist: event bug, bugs in general, AI...

TBH We've always known the pop system was bad but yeah ever since 2.2 overhaul and removing the upper limit on how many pops each planet can hold really made it worse. All the calculations happening at the beginning of the month kind of makes you wonder why they didn't just go pure turn based because then they could at least justify the lag in the turn transistions. I hold onto the feeble hope that one day they'll abandon the pop system entirely for a pure numbers system like EU4/HoI4 or Distant Worlds.

Would you make the lewd advisor a independent file next updata, those audio file are big. NO point down load them again if there are no updata or any change.

Larger file means you have to wait much longer if you are in different side of earth.

But still Lithia, whom we owe this great mod, is putting all her work into it for free! Free! Please consider this. Every rant "why isn't this going faster?????" might change her view towards what an ungrateful bunch of users we are and might also make her reconsider modding this game at all.

So please, for the sake of all of us, be patient

Thanks for the screenshot of this post, Lithia! it is very encouraging :) And there are no guys, of course it was not a serious post, especially since the developer does not owe anything to anyone. I just wanted to provoke new news about the update, because I really love this mod and I am very interested in the news about it. And there is no opportunity and desire to join the Discord group, because the knowledge of English is not so good. With this forum, i just feel somehow more comfortable and cozy?

Trying a hivemind with this mod for the first time.

 

I took Nymphic Hosts, but it doesn't seem to really work.  I have no option to assimilate xenos.  Could I have a compatability issue?  I have the Forgotten Queens mod installed as well.

 

The brothel/Sexmarket/Milkfarm chains are still there, unchanged from their default form, so they create new "classes" of workers not normally available.    My species moves right into those roles, but that's just weird. 

 

EDIT:  Confirmed, this and Forgotten Queen are in conflict.  Major bummer, Forgotten Queens adds a ton of great content.  Patch plz, anyone?

Milk cow job is pretty op and doesn't make sense. When milking cow in real world, they need lot of food even more than they produce.

 

If milk cow job input food and output consumer goods and amenity, thats more make sense.

 

and what about brothel/milking jobs for hive mind&machine empire? They don't need consumer goods and trade value, so they need own brothel or milking jobs.(except rogue servitor. They need consumer goods)

How do I play the game. I downloaded and extracted. My computer wants to use vlc to open the file, and nothing happens? What program do I need? I am using windows 10 64 bit. Thanks.

Lustful Void is a mod for the game stellaris if you do not own this game then you will have to buy it. If you do own the game then place the extracted files into Documents\Paradox Interactive\Stellaris\mod. The mod will then show up in the game launcher. Enable the mod, under the "mods" tab, and play.

 

I don't know if this is what you are asking but i hope this helps.

i've never heard of a steam game needing to use vlc to open the executable. that and using the term "extracted" leads me to believe this copy isn't legitimate. if that's the case, i don't know if this mod will work properly, given that pirated games tend to use different file structures, and i know for a fact no steam workshop mods will work either.

 

in the future, it's usually a good idea to not tell people whether your copy of a game is stolen or not if you're looking for help with it. you should also expect that no mods will work with a stolen game, given that 99% of game mods are developed with a legitimate copy and proper file structure in mind.

Ehh. The only difference between a steam version and a pirated version is that the pirated version has steam disabled.

Doesn't matter how the game is installed, the mods go to the paradox folder in Documents either way.

i figured the use of "How do I play the game?" was the object for "I downloaded and extracted" as opposed to the mod. didn't consider whether it was the mod or the actual game he was talking about, and i don't know what the rules are here for support on pirated games
