Now that this has been updated to 3.7, my sexy origins civs are missing basic starting techs and have minimal pops. I'm missing the most recent DLCs, is that the culprit?

Posted

One thing that might be a nice idea is a pop growth building ands decisions you can research just to help the AI. The computer never takes the breeding tradition as far as I can tell.

Another idea might be a  pop assembly building like clone vats you can research or get in the breeding tradition.

Reduce trade value from Lv_jobs as well as unity. You can use my version in the comment earlier. In their current state, prostitutes are a more efficient and productive version of energy workers, artists and bureaucrats taken together, which makes them uncontested, and energy districts, entertainment centers and bureaucratic buildings - meaningless and unnecessary and no one builds them. Which is complete nonsense in terms of common sense, as well as game balance.

yea no, trade value has already been EXTREMELY nerfed from the older versions and even the sexpolis trade was nerfed hard, most jobs use to give it, now only a select few do (and a mean a FEW), and the amount it gives was heavily nerfed, i don't want anymore reductions to trade it's already less then 1/5 of what it use to be.

I don't know if this has already been asked or not but is this mod compatible with the more events mod because I installed more events latest version and your mods events stopped showing up

so what other mods would this be incompatible

just wondering there is a way to increase the speed that the invasive breeding trait converts pops?, i continually end up with ridiculous variations of species making the species tab a nightmare when not playing a swarm or fan purifier. cheers

I second this! And I think an influence cost would be perfect for this. Make it transition 5-10-20 pops instantly across all worlds for a steep cost, or better yet add an additional civic that makes this process far more "agressive" or adds a weaker one to your species without the origin. Or a tradition... A tradition would be wonderful. :) Really just anything to make this faster. I want my people to be invasive and spread like a very "fun" virus.

Yes, I know that after my comment six months or a year ago, the author somewhat reduced the trading value.
But I recently started playing stellaris again and I see that there are still quite a lot of trade values, I even reduced them in the file. What's more, I'm playing through "support for prostitution" in which the income is further reduced, and I have enough energy. Only once, for a defensive war against an entire coalition, I was forced to quickly build a huge fleet and defense, transferring prostitution to "industry", otherwise I did not have enough energy. After a while, I increased energy production, built energy habitable stations, etc., and never used "industry" again.

If you do not have enough energy in this mod, you are doing something wrong. Or do you want everything at once right from the start.

Read the comments above. There, a person says the same thing as me - he has so much energy that he does not know what to do with it.

You will be surprised, but my main problem in the game is where to put the resources. (It would be great if the creators of the game made it possible to invest huge resources in the infrastructure of the planets, forever increasing their productivity)
Therefore, I have long prescribed the ability to store resources for each building of the planetary administration, so the more planets I have, the more resources I store, which is logical and realistic.
Even with "prostitution support" I have enough energy to constantly buy resources on the market (those that are currently cheaper) even if I don't need them, just to accumulate huge stocks and dump excess money.

Just yesterday, my fleets defeated a 1/3 galaxy coalition that attacked me (maximum map for 1K stars).  I am the highest military power in the galaxy  ( and the most peaceful in the galaxy  :D  ). In warehouses from 0.5 million to 2-3 million resources. (I buy resources just to dump excess energy). Profit several thousand energy per month (I don't need more),  taking into account the fleet of 3000+ capacity and many sparsely populated planets (when they are populated, income will still grow.).   The highest level of difficulty.

The only resource I REALLY lack is influence.

If you have little energy in this mod, you are doing something wrong.

I'll add about hu-cows.
If I was making a mod and I had a goal to insert this fetish, then I would give the use of cows to "evil" states (slave owners, genocidal, maybe ruthless capitalists etc). Slave owners have an average income from cow slaves (but much higher than normal "non-evil" states), and the cows stay alive. Genocidal empires or devouring swarms treat cows ruthlessly - maximum profit, but the population dies according to the normal mechanics of genocide or eating, (or you can prescribe a longer life or no death at all, this is your choice.)

I would also suggest that instead of unnecessary new buildings like strange gem incubators and sexology, add more interesting events.
By the way, a question about events. I played almost all versions of the LV and I remember different events for slims and so on (from time to time I play Stellaris with long breaks). But for the last few versions of the mod (about a year or two in real time), I didn’t see any events at all, even slims.  Am I so "lucky", or is the events triggers broken long ago? In early versions, I ALWAYS met slims.

Further. I am not a programmer, my programming skills are zero. I don’t understand well which homemade mechanics can be easily inserted into the game, and which ones are impossible or difficult.
Therefore, I carefully ask - is such a mechanic possible (by analogy with decisions on tentacle planets) when a population with the "aphrodisiac cum" trait can gradually with a small chance give the "ordinary" population (without such a trait) various "lustful" traits?
An example - on the planet there are 50 units of your population and 5 who came from a neighboring state, who have the "aphrodisiac" trait. With a chance of (for example) 5% per month, they can give one unit of your population some kind of "lustful" trait. The more of them, the greater the chance. Populations with the "only females" trait are more susceptible to this influence.

And further. The same mechanics work for the Addition Cum trait, but the "regular" population gains the Addiction trait, which gives severe debuffs when there is no population with the Addition Cum trait, but a synergy bonus when present.  If possible, the synergy bonus should match (for example) 1 population with the "addictive" trait to no more than 5 population with the "addiction" trait, otherwise there will be no synergy bonus.
Accordingly, it would be interesting if a political faction appeared that required rapprochement with the state where the population has this trait, and the more your population gets the "addiction" trait, the stronger this political party. Which in the future may lead (for example) to the fact that the player will not be able to reject the request
of a neighboring state for various kinds of pacts and agreements, and even requestfor vassalage, especially if the population has the "submission" trait and the neighbors have "dominants".

Is this mechanic technically possible?

It would be interesting to see how a dominant race with this trait slowly takes over neighbors.

Fight them and destroy them, or they will slowly and peacefully make your population their enthusiastic fans.   )))

Is there proper load order for anyone using a number of loverslab and lustful void mod. Kinda wondering if my load order is messed up somewhere; would like a visual answer if anyone is able to provide. Got LV as the first one and had the current UI mod as the last one on the list, but kinda concern about my other loverslab mod maybe being placed wrong, or mods that are merely portrait mods causing problems with the current version of stellaris.

Edit: Never mind, found out the issue was one of the mods causing my set up to crash, the light version of SSX was causing problems and as soon as I got rid of it, I was able to play it normally now.

It's not out - it's announced.

And what loss?

While it's true that it's not out yet, it's REALLY close to release, it's releasing May 9th or in other words about a week and a half at the time of this post. Which also means Lithia doesn't have much if any time to prepare for the release of the DLC and the accompanying free update. Given the major rework coming to Leaders both free and with the DLC it'll beak that portion of LV HARD, and may affect other portions of the mod. Plus whatever backend modding changes occur, though hopefully those will be mentioned in the upcoming dev diaries.

So im gonna admit that I saw this mod and wanted to use it and some of its sub mods... except I have not a single clue what I am doing install wise and need some help. Before anyone asks, I quite literally just made this account an hour ago or so and I am used to workshop mods. A reply helping me with this would be greatly appreciated.

That's okay, Now what you need to do is (on windows) open the "Documents" folder inside there should be a folder for "Paradox Interactive" and inside that one there should be a folder called "Stellaris". Now inside the Stellaris folder since you've already been using workshop mods there should be a folder simply called "Mod" Extract Lustful void so that the "Lustful Void" folder AND the "Lustful Void.mod" file are present in the "Mod" folder. A example path (where ***** represents the user account name) would be "C:\users\*****\Documents\Paradox Interactive\Stellaris\Mod" with both the Lustful Void folder and .mod file present.

I do have to admit that the new DLC looks cool, but I'm also worried that it's going to utterly break this mod and like more than half the mods on the workshop. Hoo, boy. Might have to wait on letting Stellaris update when it drops.

If anyone can help me out, I got some portrait mods that have not been updated as of late, but it's very cool. One of the mod is called the [Stellaris] Kagami Species, I like the portraits since it all or a majority of women from the taimanin series, but for some reason it doesn't seem to cycle through the portraits that it has and the other one is called Hentai game portrait mod, I have yet to test this one in game yet, but I fear it wouldn't cycle properly as well.

Is there a fix I can do on my end, or is this something that the mod author has to do.

On some windows machines, that would be "C:\users\*****\OneDrive\Documents\Paradox Interactive\Stellaris\Mod" (and uninstalling OneDrive would not move the Documents folder.)

I thank you for this bit of help, i must ask though, should i remove any mods already there or no?

Bug report. (I don’t know, only I have such a bug, or everyone else, I advise everyone to check it out)
During the game, I noticed that the AI cannot choose the policy of prostitution. I switched to the game in other countries through the console - and it was the same everywhere, the policy was not set. If I turn on the course of game time, then in a day the policy is set by itself, and the country begins to receive bonuses from this. When I switch the console back to my country - the AI policy is reset again and does not work.
Am I the only one with this bug? I recommend checking this out.

Some bugs I noticed.

After converting a Habitat to a Pleasure Hab the new districts (Milk/Sexology/RedDistrict) are just added on but cannot be seen. The previous districts still remain filling the UI slots, but there is no slider to access the new  districts  (you can see the very edge of the Milking District and click it, but the others are beyond the bounds of the box).

The localization for "col_lv_sex" doesn't exist. The description was written, but it is mislabeled as "col_dairy_sex".

I'm using both mods with this myself and I've noticed no problems at all. Try using Irony Mod Manager.

Did the latest patch DLC(Paragons) change something that would require updating LV? I am asking because the DLC seems to be running on 3.7 but its not exactly just a small tweak or some extra events either.
