Alright I've done all of this and the Lustful Void and Family Oriented descriptor files still aren't showing up. Irony does not recognize the existence of these mods. Irony is terrible.

How did paradox screw up their launcher so badly that a piece of shit like Irony is still better even with it's chronic failure to recognize mods?!? At least the paradox manager never forgot about Lustful Void or Family Oriented.

That really sounds like an issue with whatever you're doing, not with Irony or the Paradox launcher. Remember to not use the windows default unzipper and to put your mods into the correct folder.

I did download and unzip properly. The only issues I'm having now are the graphics part of Lustful Void and Family Oriented not actually showing up and Irony still not recognizing the existence of said mods. I think I'll just have to wait for the next updates of both Void and stellaris. Piss it's so annoying needing to start new games after every single update.

Irony sucks.

Warhammer? I am waiting on the mod floodgates to open on that baby as well. What's the mod out of curiosity?

It's great that you're back!

 

With regard to TWW, I'd honestly just stick with 2.  3 has been such a shit show since it launched, between the poor campaign and the deliberate performance nerfs, that it doesn't seem it's worth investing the time into.  It's reviewed poorly by consumers, with mixed reviews by professional reviewers.  Gamespot really hit it on the head when they said it was unsatisfying.

Check that the you are putting the files in the \Documents\Paradox Interactive\Stellaris\mod folder and not the \Documents\Paradox Interactive\Stellaris\mods folder. Also, check Irony for updates. I just deleted all my none Steam mods and reinstalled them to see what my be causing your issue with Irony. Everything is showing up in Irony as it is supposed to. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but descriptor files are no longer necessary.

There's the relevant path. Like I said Lustful void seems to be loading but the graphics aren't showing up. I just get placeholder icons for the traits and buildings.

Doesn't look like Family Oriented is loaded at all but that's a smaller mod that I can afford to drop in a new playthrough. Can't just drop Lustful Void tho.

Edit: just wanna clarify. Irony isn't showing Lustful Void but it is being loaded. Just missing the graphics. Irony sucks.

Fuck I hate how laggy this site is right now.

This sounds more and more like an issue with your Irony install or your Stellaris install. I'd check both before continuing to complain about how a tool that most players use without issue somehow doesn't work for you without you doing anything wrong.

I agree.

 

I also want to add, Irony's ability to merge mods makes it so that you can still keep playing an older version of Stellaris without worrying about the mods your using updating. Plus , this function reduces load time by a lot if you use a lot of mods. I make the mod list I'm going to use, merge it, play with the merged list to reduce load time and do remerges as the mods and game update. Then, when the new version of Stellaris hits and I'm waiting for LL mods to catch up, I roll back my Stellaris and keep playing the old version.

Only recently found out about all these mods; must say, I'm digging what I've seen thus far. Quick question though (apologies if its already been answered), how exactly do I get the "Breeding Offensive" casus belli to trigger? Would appreciate some clarity, thanks!

this casus belli as far as im aware is for the new hivemind civics, may be other ways but thats the ones i know.


And for LV's Author, thank you for all your hard work, and May 12th (if i read right) is when the next dlc drops. Hope it doesnt break more things.

Oh no... I told myself the next time LV updated, I'd look into Irony and work out all the little conflicts my modlist has so everything could work properly...

 

I've been at it for a couple hours and still have over 1100 conflicts to check... Curse yoooouuuu!!

 

In all seriousness, I'm happy for the update, just cursing my previous laziness. :P

Where tentacles!? ? Due to my absence I had to get back into modding mode so I had to add something new that wasn't too hard to do. Don't worry though, I still plan on working on those squishy tentacles!

Organic assembly does not seem to be working i have gene clinics but the game says there are no species that can be assembled. The only other gameplay affecting mod i have is Starchild's LV Expansion, also i seemed to be able to explore planet and find missing pops an infinite number of times so i can get as many of those jobs as i want, is this working as intended.

The simplified Chinese translaton update! I think it may need to be a bit more polished but I am very tired now so... Maybe I will update a 1.1 this week.

And btw, if everything goes as I expect, I will be very busy in May and maybe don't have time to sit down and translate mods( honestly the new event already makes me feel it a large piece of cake) , so possibly I will just stop translation then. I am thinking maybe I should upload a paratranz project and collect other LV submods I have translated. Hopeif someone is willing to take over the translation, they will help.

以及如果一切顺利的话,我五月之后就会非常忙了,很可能没时间好好静下来翻译了(而且说实话就连这次更新的小观察时间就已经让我感觉有点吃不消了),所以大概率之后我就不翻译了。我在想要不要上传一个paratranz做备份,顺便整理一下我翻译过的各种LV子mod,希望如果有人愿意接手翻译的话会帮上什么忙吧。

Edit:1.1版本上传,把宝石孵化者的科技的翻译补上了,调整了新事件里的一些细节。

食用方法:解压后覆盖原Mod里localisation文件夹里的simp_chinese文件夹
