Popular Post forgets Posted November 17, 2018 Popular Post Posted November 17, 2018 This thread will attempt to aggregate an encyclopedic collection of links to AAF-related mods, utilities, information, and other resources. It is intended to be an easy reference for individuals looking for resources relating to AAF, and in particular an up-to-date list of all known AAF-related mods and utilities. If you have a link to something that you don't see here, either post it in the comments, or lob it at me in the AAF Discord. If you want me to respond faster than "when I get to it", better go with Discord. If I think your link is not relevant to AAF and I am not going to include it, I will tell you why. Also feel free to post critiques or suggestions. Expect frequent updates. For more detailed information, scroll down below the links. This will not turn into "The six degrees of AAF". I do not want to create a giant brick wall of text here. Items linked here will have unambiguous relevance to AAF, modding with AAF or using AAF. This is not a place, for example, for links to outfits, textures, crafting mods, etc. that have only oblique relevance (or none at all). Similarly, if you have a whole bunch of links to general animation resources/tutorials that have no direct relation to the AAF framework, please do post them--but in their own thread. Next item. I won't be linking here to any of the existing unofficial AAF guides and tutorials, at least in their current forms. There are a number of reasons for this decision. The information they contain has grown obsolete. What's more, some of them were never correct in the first place. They also contradict each other. There are so many of them, with a lot of conflicting advice, released at different points in the development history of AAF--if I provided links to them in an official thread, it would be the equivalent of rubber-stamping them with a seal of approval. I can't do that in good conscience. The proliferation of all these guides is already a source of confusion for users new and old. To be perfectly blunt: it's fucking up people's games and their attempts to mod their games. And having all these different guides all over the place makes it daunting for new users just to figure out where to begin. It's not just a frustration or an inconvenience, it's a real problem. And it's nobody's fault. I want to emphasize that. Nobody has done anything wrong, but at the same time it's clear what the issue is. This was actually a point of contention between myself and dagoba_king, who was and is still of the opinion that all of these guides should be included in this thread, only with a disclaimer advising to not actually use them. He deeply appreciates and admires the contributions of people who have created AAF guides and tutorials, and is concerned that if their work is not included here, creators may rightly feel excluded, belittled and dismissed. He also thinks this collection ideally should be a comprehensive archive of everything that is AAF-related, and being selective at all of any information defeats that purpose. He is troubled by the thought that the guides may become buried and disappear, and even if they are not practically useful they are still too important to just let disappear. He's not wrong. A guide or tutorial is not something you just pull out of your ass. It's long and tedious work. The people who have made all these different guides didn't do it because it's fun, they wanted to help other people. They cared about the community enough to invest their time, labor and patience to create something that would help people out. Some of the information in them may have gone past its expiration date now, but you have to respect that level of dedication. You also have to appreciate the unique personality that comes out in each individual's work. The last thing I want is for anyone who contributed so much to this community to feel undervalued or unfairly excluded. It's just that including links to those guides here would be problematic, for the reasons I already explained. Even a cautionary disclaimer wouldn't be a solution. To put it simply, there is a large segment of the general population who are just not inclined to read disclaimers. If a guide or tutorial is updated and/or revised for accuracy, then I'll link to it. This is getting way too long. So here's the crux of it: rather than focusing on making this directory completely exhaustive, I want to focus on usability, making it organized in a way that makes sense so it's easy to find what you need. That being said, I also don't want to intentionally leave anything out that is relevant. I want every AAF related mod and resource here--everything that could be useful. I don't want a link to a recipe for icing that looks like glow-in-the-dark Ghoul jizz. (What) tl;dr - If it concerns AAF, and someone needs to find it, I want them to be able to find it here without needing an advanced degree in Finding Shit. That's all. 25
Aylis Posted November 17, 2018 Posted November 17, 2018 You beat me to it (was planning to do something similar like this) but the usability was the big problem. 1
MaxxBlack Posted November 22, 2018 Posted November 22, 2018 Ok so I'm trying to play all of RSE in AAF and I've run into several can't find animation messages. Right now they are for Male to Male animations (had to surrender) and Male to Female to Female. I think I have all of the animation packs you list but don't seem to have these. Do you know of an animation pack that will work for one or both of these issues? 1
Seriously_Sus Posted November 27, 2018 Posted November 27, 2018 https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/10075/?tab=files <-- this should be added to the Misc. Mods and Resources section its required by something here since aaf kept telling met that i didnt have "SettleObjExpandPack.esp" that comes with this mod
Halstrom Posted November 28, 2018 Posted November 28, 2018 You might want to add this in with the animations
mashup47 Posted November 28, 2018 Posted November 28, 2018 Hmm I still use Nexus. I guess no one will be needing this then: https://github.com/Nexus-Mods/Nexus-Mod-Manager/releases for the latest version. ?
Guest Posted November 29, 2018 Posted November 29, 2018 I've encountered an issue and was wondering if anyone has an idea of how to fix it. For some reason, the dialogue text from RSE, AAF Sex Em' Up etc. Don't show up at all but the dialogue choices do. Any idea what could be causing this?
galgat Posted January 21, 2019 Posted January 21, 2019 thank you for this it has been very helpful, I have just started getting back into FO4, one of these day's I will actually maybe finish all the DLC's. :). But this was very helpful for getting up to date so to speak. I have not played this one in over a year, so had to restart from scratch to get going with AAF, and it seems to work pretty good now that I finally got all the kinks out of my installation. I very much think the environment for fallout games is far better suited for the prostitution, and rough sex adult mods than any other bethesda game, but I guess skyrim has received the most love. However I find myself quite often going back to FNV. Although sexout did not have the multiple stages of LoverPK or Sexlab the story lines there seem so much better suited for Adult Mod's. Even the generic voiced insult's in FO4, and FNV are much more inline with the adult event's. I guess FO4 will suffer from that same lack of stages, but I must say the alignment is much better I think mostly because we don't have so many bodies to choose from.
Blazedstr72 Posted February 15, 2019 Posted February 15, 2019 Here's another link you might want to add. AAF Overlay files.
Tentacus Posted February 27, 2019 Posted February 27, 2019 If you'd please add this to the Mods that call AAF section. Thanks.

RitualClarity Posted April 18, 2019 Posted April 18, 2019 @forgets It was brought to my attention that the AAF Sex ‘Em Up Link in the OP pointing to a fourplay version.
bp70 Posted April 29, 2019 Posted April 29, 2019 to the op, you no longer need rusty xxl's patch to run my animations. that should probably bwe included
Skippe Posted May 27, 2019 Posted May 27, 2019 I tried to instal aff with guide and still it just didnt work no sex dialogues or animations started or even conversation lines that would initiate sex. I am not sure what i do wrong, maybe i instal files wrong place excample. im not clear where to instal animation files excample unfortunatelly, there is mod folder do i instal something there or data folder ?. i have uninstalled game twice already and reinstalled every mod i want to use and unofficial patch- now i am ready to give up using sexmods altogether since i dont get them work so i am asking if someone could advice me or give some hints what i can do it is quite probable that i just simply dont understand all instructions at guides and miss instal something accidentally, and i am not sure what i miss.
RitualClarity Posted May 27, 2019 Posted May 27, 2019 Unless told otherwise with all the mods you have to install... use a manager. Then let the manager install the mods. It will install them in the correct location. The author of the mod should be doing his or her work on the back end (when creating the mod) to be sure that it does get installed properly. Most do. It is a simple task for them to do. Installing the basic AAF framework is simple and only has a couple of mods. Then an animation pack or two and you are good to go. If it doesn't work then (using the Home key) then you have something wrong going on. (often missing or didn't install F4SE correctly.. there are videos on how to do that properly.. that isn't installed by a mod manager and has to be manually installed and configured) Something is wrong. After installing the basic framework the guide asks you to test before moving on. (at least mine does) You will have too look at the SFW version to see the "Successful Testing of AAF" section. 2
Fixadent Posted June 2, 2019 Posted June 2, 2019 I have AAF and several other associated mods installed, but I cannot get any of the sex mods or animations to actually work in-game. The following is a list of all of my installed mods, please tell me, what am I missing?
reconphil Posted June 2, 2019 Posted June 2, 2019 I think you have to fix your load order. Go to the compleat guide.
gotomars5@yahoo.com Posted July 27, 2019 Posted July 27, 2019 Hello is there a way in AAF to keep female clothes on automatically or a way to put them back on in animation.

I think you can make an outfit XML file but I haven't messed wiith that yet. What I do is find clothes that use slots other than the ones stripped by AAF's "partial" strip option... such as Dicky's pinup pack. And this isn't the right thread for this kind of question.

If you dont want to tinker with the XML files (and add keywords to your outfit item), you can use the latest version of Roggvir's No-Strip Items Manager which now works with AAF (thanks to EgoBallistic).

Didn't know that mod existed.. looks cool. Added gold stars for going the extra step to add race and sex to the mod and not just a set universal set. 1
