  9. Stallion Ring

UPDATE 2022-05-16 - I am rescinding this mod, at least temporarily, due to controversy surrounding how the mod was presented to the communty. I am currently considering my options. Thank you for understanding and, for those who did enjoy the mod, I am glad that you enjoyed it.

OVERVIEW - The mod allows you to find and wear an enchanted ring called "The Stallion Ring," made by a person calling themselves "Curt the Cursed Enchanter." Be forewarned that the ring is not all that it appears to be; Read the poem included with it carefully and heed it's instructions. A "spoiler file" is included with this mod for people who would like additional clarity on the nature of the ring.

The container containing the ring (and the poem) may be found outside and under a bridge. Additional clues (in order):

In response to feedback, here is the poem that is in the mod so that you may judge if this mod is something that you would be interested in using for your playthroughs. Again, if you want precise details on what the ring does, there's a "spoiler" text file included in the mod.

The mod is a single .ESP file and is placed into the directory that all .ESP files are placed in. The mod contains no scripts. Uninstallation is simple; Remove the ring, save the game, uninstall the mod, re-load your save game and simply re-save your game.

The mod was made using Skyrim: Anniversary Edition but I can only presume that it will work on earlier editions. Please let me know if that is not the case as I have no way of testing the mod on earlier editions.

Any constructive feedback is welcome, as always. I do expect to tweak the mod a tiny bit but it all depends upon feedback.

Finally, please do not re-distribute this mod to places such as NexusMods; I do not hate NexusMods or the people who work there. I only want to have one central location for which to monitor the feedback and reception of the mod. Having multiple places to modify (and monitor) the mod would be detrimental to it's upkeep.

I hope that you enjoy this mod. Thank you.

  13. Vanilla Skyrim Choker & Earrings - with enchantments

    Overview
This esp replacer adds enchantments to gomaperopero's mod.
Each of the choker and earrings got the enchantment of their vanilla counterparts. There are a few additional changes.

    Requirements
You will need the original mod for it.
You still have to use the console or AddItemMenu to obtain the items, because no crafting, lootlist or levellist changes were made yet.

    Installation
Download and install the original mod from the link above.
Download this Choker of Skyrim.esp and overwrite the original one.

    Changes
added vanilla enchantments - They didn't have any enchantments at all, so I've added the vanilla ones.
reduced weight to 0.5 - because Complete Crafting Overhaul Remade changed the original amulets to 0.5
added weight 0.5 to weightless items
added missing keywords to Choker (but not the earrings)
Choker of Ancient Nord - the vanilla amulet has no enchantment, so I've added EnchArmorResistMagic01 "Resist Magic" (Magic resistance of 10%).
I wanted to have something like "shouts do stagger more easily", because Kyne (Kynareth, you Imperial scum!) granted the Thu'um to the Ancient Nords, but couldn't find it immediately.
Choker / Earrings of the Elder Council - same as the vanilla counterpart: no enchantment, but a value of 1000 Septims
Choker / Earrings of Articulation - added EnchArmorArticulation05 "Articulation" - the item is scaling in the original game, this will give you a flat bonus of Speech +20, which is stronger than Dibella with +15.
renamed Choker of Necromancer to Choker of the Necromancer - the same with the earrings.
    renamed Eearrings to Earrings

    Disclaimer
The original mod belongs to gomaperopero.
Make sure to unequip enchanted items before upgrading or uninstalling. Magical effects might get stuck on your character when messing with enchantments.
I didn't change the vanilla magical effects, so the enchantments are unballanced (e.g. +10 health), but thus are compatible with mods that change them.
It is possible to equip the same effect twice with choker and earrings, but I don't know how the percentages will be calculated. E.g. Talos 2x +20%.

    Recommended
Divine Amulets and Daedric Rings - Upscaled Textures is compatible and just got released.
No Enchantment Restrictions - SKSE No Conflict for more enchantments options.
Automated Leveled List Addition if you'd like to craft or loot them on your journey.

  16. Ave's Radiant Jewelry

Because I love to create Jewelry Stuff just for the passion for creating them, I decide to create UUNP bodyslide versions of them so that more are able to enjoy my humble work.

Note: This is an alpha version, first time I used Bodyslide for modding, so if anything turns out somehow wrong, please let me know.

    Licensing/Legal
You must contact me and obtain my permission before re-packaging any part of
    this mod.

    Requirements
    Bodyslide

    Description
add some jewelry sets with UUNP Bodyslide option. Because I know that most of you use add-item-Menu anyway, I do not create crafting options. All of them can be bought from Endarie in Radiant Raiment, Solitude.

    Current Sets are:

    Moon-and-Star:
Earrings Necklace Belly Piercing Ring (separate Armor Slot, can be worn aside with other rings in this mod)

    Dark Sun:
    Earrings Necklace Belly Piercing

    Frozen Star:
    Earrings Necklace Belly Piercing Ring

    Moth:
    Earrings Necklace Belly Piercing Ring

    Hjalti:
Earrings Necklace Belly Piercing Left-hand Ring

    Details
    Earrings use Slot 44
    Belly Piercing use Slot 56
    Moon-and-Star artifact use Slot 60
    Left-hand Rings use Slot 58

    Incompatibility

Mods wich edit Merchant Chest in Radiant Raiment

    Known Issues or Bugs

Moon-and-Star Ring is not visible in 1st person. Because Slot 60 is not enabled for 1st person in all races since an edit in any race cause more trouble than anything else, I decide not to do it.

  17. Ring of Havok Control

You know those vertex warps that followers get if they have BBP physics and HDT hair?

Like when they go through doors?  Hair moves chaotically, or bodies stretch across the screen.  Sometimes they disappear completely?  This ring stops that.

To use it, add the “Ring of Havok Control” with AddItemMenu or console commands, and equip it on the affected character.  It is mainly designed around followers with HDT wigs, but the PC can wear it and it helps with regular HDT hair as well.

It has three effects on any character (PC or NPC) who equips the ring:
    1) When the PC goes from standing still to moving, havok is briefly frozen for the equipped character.
    2) NPCs remove wigs after loading screens, which are replaced when the player moves.
    3) NPCs and the PC will unequip and re-equip wigs when the player blocks, if not in combat.

Effect 1 and 2 happen on their own.

Effect 2 usually triggers but not always (not in cities in particular, or oft-frequented areas).

Effect 3 is the same as effect 2, but is available when needed at the player's command.

These effects will go mostly unnoticed in regular play, except for the refreshing absence of vertex warps.

    *

Two additional items have been added in update 1.1 to free up the ring slot.

Nipple Rings HC: uses the original enchantment, without using the ring slot. If you don't have Devious Devices, the nipple rings will not be visible, but should still work.

Nipple Rings HC-a: is a pared down version that uses only the first effect, which is the only one that matters if the equipping character isn’t wearing a wig. Havok anomalies still will occur after loading screens but usually resolve within a few seconds, or sometimes a minute in the worst case where a character disappears.

  18. Polymorphic Armor - A PC Exclusive Armor Path (LE Edition) V1.0

Version 1.0 of Polymorphic Armors has arrived.

A broad overview of the mod is provided here.  For more detailed information, please check the Readme doc at:

If you ask questions that are answered either in this post or the readme, I will either direct you to them or simply not respond.  I took the time to write it up for a reason.

    Overview
Polymorphic Armors is a mod that adds the ability to dynamically change the player's armor, clothing, and accessory models to models that are stored in a separate directory from regular.  These directories, called PA directories, are otherwise intended to be identical to their normal counterparts and when the player equips an item, it will go in and find the equivalent model in the PA directory for the one from the regular directory.  From an example, this would mean if the player equipped an armor using the model located at:

    Data/Meshes/armor/bandit/body1f_1.nif

It would search for and use the model located at the pa directory which would be:

    Data/Meshes/armorpa/bandit/body1f_1.nif

    Notice the highlighted difference.

    Why do it this way?
The ability to bulk build directories and rename them to pa directories so that the I can have a player wearing unique armors, with unique body type, etc.

    Requirements:
    1) SKSE
    2) MCM
    3) MESKSEUtils (Maria Eden SKSE Utility Scripts.  You can find them in the ME mod for LE/SE.  You do NOT need to have the mod itself, but you need to have the SKSE plugin and associated script.  Make sure to get the correct version for the version of Skyrim you are running, LE or SE).

    Modes:
There are three modes that the mod can be run in:

Normal Mode generates a piece of Polymorphic Armor that gets added and equipped in place of the armor that the player was wearing.  The armor nominally will take the armor value, armor type, enchantments, armor slots, altered appearance, and name (With a (PA) appended on the end to denote that it is different from the base armor).

Replacement Mode does not generate a new piece of equip and instead replaces the meshes that the armor is using.  This has benefits for heavily scripted pieces of equipment but means that ALL NPCS WILL USE THE CHANGED MODEL.  Note that model changes currently only get reset on Save/Load, with only the gear that the player is currently wearing being reset to it's alternate model.

Manual Mode pops up a message box when the player equips a piece of gear that allows the player to chose how to handle that piece of gear (Normal, replacement, or do nothing).

    Using the mod:
Once the mod is activated, whenever you equip a piece of gear it will convert via the mode you have selected.  NOTE: The mod is only able to convert gear so quickly, so YOU CAN NOT RAPIDLY EQUIP PIECES OF GEAR AND EXPECT THEM ALL TO CHANGE. This shouldn't (but may in certain situations) break the mod, and you should be able to unequip and reequip and unchanged gear.

    FAQ:
    Can I use this with <armor mod>?
Yes, as long as you have a PA directory for the alternate models/.nifs, and the .nifs generated inside, it shouldn't matter if it is base, vanilla, DLC, comes from a mod, etc.

Will this cause issues with <heavily scripted armor mod>?
It can.  My recommendation is to either 1) Use the prohibited slots section of the mod to have the mod not process anything in those slots the mod uses or 2) use the replacement mode to keep the original armor.

    Why is my gear invisible?
Did you remember to make the replacement .nifs and put them in the proper directory?  Enable the debugging line to see the directory it is searching for and verify that the replacement .nif is there.  If it is, there may be a .niftype issue.  See the readme for more info on this.

If I include a body in the pa folders will it automatically use that for the player?
Good question! Sadly, the answer is no.  If you want the PC to use a custom body, you will need to use a custom race that can set a custom body for the PC.  There are plenty of these available and I didn't feel like make a new one for this mod since it was largely unneeded.

Does this work for both male and female PCs?
It should, but I haven't tested it.

    Troubleshooting:
    1) See the readme for some common bugs/troubleshooting
    2) If the readme doesn't help, when leaving a comment make sure to include:
What version (SE/LE) What is not working (Equipping X, etc.) How is not working When it is not working (Always, randomly, on load, etc.) What modes have you tried If nothing is working, have you enabled it to start in the MCM?

  19. Ayane Follower Armors CBBE Bodyslide

My attempt at converting all the armors of an Ayane follower mod (Ayane from the dead or alive series).  I will likely try to update it in the future to fix clipping issues. Tried all day to fix them, but for some reason my changes WOULD NOT SAVE and every time I loaded the game, exact same clipping. Wondering if I have to keep saving them as entirely new bodyslide files to get it to stick., But aside from minor clipping (which drives me insane because I'm a perfectionist) they do fit reasonably well on an HDT CBBE body, and have some breast and butt physics. Potentially stomach as well for pregnancy mods but I haven't tested how that will look so it may be awful.

Also attached is an ESP. The original mod was Extremely glitchy due to the way the follower quest worked, and would cause the game to CTD if you got near Riften or a wide area around Riften (inside riften worked). So this esp totally eliminates the follower and follower quest. I tried to maintain the hair for player use but haven't tested it. Hair has no physics if it does work.

Another thing my custom ESP does is change the name of the outfits in game. So instead of 8 armors called "Ayane Armor" they are now more specific and let you know which armor piece, glove, or boot belongs to which set.

I do not know the original mod author or where to find the mod. It appears to be a combination mod of several creators going by folders. That said, this will not work without the original mod which has the original textures and meshes. I tried to find the mod and author(s) but to no avail. So this mod may vanish one day if the original creator shows up and tells me to delete it.

I did however, find the thread on here where I requested and was given this mod. So you can possibly still get the file from there. (https://www.loverslab.com/topic/128958-request-doa-ayane-hair-and-outfits/)

I GIVE FULL PERMISSION (AND WOULD HIGHLY APPRECIATE) ANYONE WHO FIXES THE CLIPPING ISSUES AND OTHERWISE SMOOTHS OUT THE VARIOUS ISSUES WITHIN THE BODYSLIDE FILES!

I am new at conversions and so some body parts may look poofy, out of shape, etc. But I did my best with the time I have. I hope you enjoy. Mod picture to be added at a later date.

  21. Desert Dancer HDT CBBE Bodyslide Conversion

Cannot guarantee this file will stay up. I have reached out to the original mod creator for permission but the mod is old and there is a language barrier (I do not speak Russian except for "cheers" "Hello" and some less than polite language and political phrases lol). In short I relied on google translate. If I am told to take this down, I will.

But this is my first proper conversion and I am proud, and want to see if it works for other people. Original mod still required (https://graviczapa.blogspot.com/2017/03/graviczapa-desert-dancer.html?zx=f32a397ddcaf5d35), then install the CBBE conversion and run bodyslide.

Note 1: Some of the jewels in the image are not from this mod, but from a variety of jewelry mods I used and forgot to unequip for the picture.
Note 2: I upped the skin gloss as part of my preference. This can be fixed by opening the project in outfit studio, double clicking the reference body for the pants, and setting the gloss options lower. (Use another mod to figure out the base game numbers. I do not remember them).

Please let me know if the mod does or does not work for you. I can't promise I'll know how to fix it (or that I'll even have the time to try. But I'd like to know if future conversions will be a waste of my time or not lol.)

To my knowledge this is the only CBBE conversion of this outfit.

I might take requests but my time and skill is super limited so I will be highly selecting as to which conversions I will take on. I also cannot do SE conversions. I don't have SE, I can't test SE, and I don't understand how conversions/ports work between the two games. That said, as long as the original creators approve, I will give my permission for anyone who wants to port any of my future conversions.

  24. Graviczapa Desert Dancer No-glow and Translucency Patches

Graviczapa Desert Dancer No-glow and Translucency Patches
    v2.0, 2020-08-18
by Darklocq, based on resources by Graviczapa

This is a set of patches (new mesh and texture files) for the Graviczapa Desert Dancer outfit (and its UUNP BodySlide set) to fix its jeweled items to stop having a silly glow-in-the-dark effect. Also includes options for a better-fitting bracelet for UUNP bodies, more translucency on veils, and some some saucy translucency on two tops and a bottom.

There are 4 separate patches, or a combo archive for doing manual selective installation, or an all-in-one combo archive with no manual-install steps: "2054321784_GraviczapaDesertDancerNo-glowBraceletTranslucencyPatchesAiO.7z".  If you use a mod manager and want everything, get that version. If you use a mod manager and only want certain features, get the separate archives for the features you want.  If you do manual installs, get "Graviczapa Desert Dancer No-glow and Translucency Patches.7z" – includes bracelet fix despite the filename not mentioning it.  The docs below are written with that combined archive in mind; it does have some separate manual drag-and-drop install stuff to do.

    What This Is For

Some modders seem to confuse the concepts of shininess and glowingness.  Shine is caused by light reflecting off something smooth.  Glow is caused by a light source INSIDE or behind a translucent object or (for magic items that glow), on the surface of an opaque one.

These unrealistic glow effects mis-applied to things that should just have shine vary from mod to mod, and can only be fixed by trial and error, one tiny tweak at a time.  In the case of this mod, quite a number of adjustments were required; it took about 3 days, and with help.  It's still not absolutely perfect, but the jewelry items now better match both vanilla jewelry and this mod's own built-in jeweled parts on a few of the clothing pieces. The gems in the jewelry items have been left with a bit of added specularity to simulate them catching and reflecting light.  This is about as good as it's going to get, though I'm willing to try different settings if you have a better idea.  I do not use an ENB preset (my potato can't handle it), just ENB with its default settings and the memory patch, so I am not certain this is going to look just right in every ENB. It does look proper in vanilla, in basic ENB, with various lighting mods, and under different lighting conditions like a dark room, clear-sky daylight, outdoor rain, and bright magic light.

The jewelry patch has no effect on the BodySlide resources, which only provide slider sets for the clothing items. This patch does not change the jeweled parts of those clothing items, as they did not have the glow problem; only the necklace, earrings, bracelets, and jeweled female turban had the problem. It has been fixed for all variants (female Argonian green turban, Khajiit red earrings, male blue necklace, etc., etc.).

The bracelet-fit patch is for UUNP and may only be needed on fairly beefy bodies. If you don't see your wrist through the jewelry, on any side, then you don't need it. As a stand-alone patch, it also integrates the glow fix for that specific item.

The more-translucent veils patch just helps you see character face-shape and chin a little better, if wearing the veiled female turban. As a stand-alone patch, this also integrates the glow fix for that specific item.

The "some translucent clothes" patch makes three items a little more revealing (the only three that could be patched in this way): the purple top and bottom, and the red top.

See sections below for details. Or, if you get all the separate patches, each has its own ReadMe.

    Installation

The glowing jewelry patch (stand-alone, or as the default patch in the combo archive) installs like any other mod, either manually or through a mod manager. The archive's "meshes\" and "textures\" subfolders go to your game's "Data\" folder, and merge in to the same subfolders of that folder.  The optional translucency and bracelet-fit patches are separate manual installs (drag-and-drop), detailed below (unless you get the "AiO" version which is all-patches-in-one, and mod-manager compatible).

Install the original Graviczapa Desert Dancer outfit first (and its UUNP BodySlide files if you want them), then this patch, and let the patch overwrite the original's files as needed.

You DO need the original mod, as this patch does not include a full set of the mod's meshes and textures, nor the ESP file.

Both the original mod and its BodySlide files are available after clicking the "Скачать" ("Download") button below the pictures at: https://graviczapa.blogspot.com/2017/03/graviczapa-desert-dancer.html?zx=45b6ec793765d727

    Optional Better-fitting Bracelets

If you find that the original bracelet shape doesn't fit your characters' arms and hands (with the wrist clipping through the jewelry), there is an "--alt. bracelet shape\" folder in the combo archive with a "meshes\" subfolder containing a replacement mesh you can try, tweaked to fit UUNP Special properly.

It will probably be fine with any UUNP variant, unless you are doing something like an obesity or bodybuilder mod with very thick arms. The UUNP BodySlide set for Graviczapa Desert Dancer does not include a slider set for this item, so it has to be tweaked by hand to fit unusual bodies.

    Optional More-translucent Veils

The combo archive's folder "--more-translucent veils\" has replacements for all the veils (found on female turbans). They are versions with more alpha (transparency) so you can better see the face. It's not excessive, and is tweaked for different veils so they look okay.

Note: this is not additional clothing items, but a veil replacement.

To install this, just drag the enclosed "meshes\" subfolder to your game's "Data\" folder and let it overwrite the meshes.

    Optional More-translucent Clothes

The combo archive's folder "--more-translucent clothes\" has replacements for the violet (default) top and bottom, and the red top. These new versions have a bit of alpha (transparency) for more of a sexy bellydancer look.  The other clothing items were not adjustable in this way; they have some kind of texture virtualization I have not encountered before (the UV for key parts of them are over black areas of texture, and they are getting the colored part through some other means); any attempt to add alpha to those parts simply results in them completely disappearing. For the three items that did work, the tops will be a bit revealing, the bottom less so (mostly legs), and they can be installed separately.

Note: this is not additional clothing items, but a replacer. Doing them as additional items would require new ShapeData meshes and SliderSet entries, and a new ESP file with additional Armor Addon, Armor, and Constructible Object records.

To install, drag the enclosed "CalienteTools\" and "meshes\" subfolders to your game's "Data\" folder and let it overwrite what it wants to.

    CBBE?

As far as I know, there is no CBBE conversion, but if there is a CBBE BodySlide set for Desert Dancer somewhere, it should not interfere with the jewelry patch, unless the creator of it also included slider sets for the necklace, bracelets, etc.

In that eventuality, you can replicate the BSLightingShaderProperties details in each NiTriShape in each mesh, as needed; just use NIFSkope to make the meshes in the slider set (under "Data\CalienteTools\BodySlide\ShapeData\" somewhere) match what I've done in the meshes in this patch, setting by setting. Then regenerate in-game meshes and tri files that match your body.

The optional more-transparency veils should work with the CBBE conversion, since head sizes are all the same and SliderSets don't include head stuff.

The optional more-transparency clothing will not work with a CBBE conversion.  But it's just a matter of setting Alpha: 0.6 in the BSLightingShaderProperties for the two NiTriShapes that form the bulk of the clothing item, so you can easily do it yourself with NIFSkope (edit the meshes for the items under "Data\CalienteTools\BodySlide\ShapeData\", and regenerate in-game meshes and tri files that match your body.

    Boilerplate

Most of the real credit goes to the original modder, Graviczapa. All I did is tweak some numbers in some of the NIF files, and do minor texture work (and test again and again and again).  The replacement textures for most of the jewelry items are based on a metal grain used for DEM Burlesque by Karter.  Special thanks to C5Kev at LoversLab for investigation, testing, debugging, and suggestions.

I impose no additional restrictions on this patch over any that may have been applied by the author of the original mod.  The original requires permission for redistribution as an entire mod; however, Graviczapa's permissions page makes it very clear that patches and other partial use require credit only, not prior written permission: the entire thing is a screed against restrictive permissions, since most of what Grav does is release patches herself.

Screens credit: The comely Redguard is Bella from Immersive Wenches (and technically coded as an Imperial, for some reason).
