Wow :O.

That got to be your best entry so far. Some of the content felt a bit... irritating, but the production quality more than made up for it!

So much work put into it. It's really impressive.

From the modern scene to the custom built destroyed village. Just great stuff.

The story also finally connected with some elements of the first book. I'm so happy to see Neve again and really like your story decision to have Jenny join the dark site.

Cause the dark site always was sexier. ;)

Really looking forward to the next entry, very curious to see where this is going and when we see a hot Neve Jenny scene :O.

I rate my prediction as a C-. Somewhat close, but missing the finer details. Wowee, this was crazy. I really don't understand the mother bit, but it's super intriguing and leaves me wanting more! Excellent job!

So Jenna is her mother? Whoh-woah-woah! What a twist! Tho I'm a bit confused, I have to admit I love it a lot!
I really love the sex scenes you do - one brighter than the other, it's just amazing! Like many other interesting details!
Jenna's bad-trip, where they play DnD, watch amazing cartoons and LL is open in the background... I see a great company has gathered there!
Delightful work, I can imagine how much time and effort it took!

Thanks guys for the compliments.

This half of Chapter 11 was just difficult to write and one that I so far struggled the most, mainly Part 3 of Chapter 11.
Part 5 and most of Part 4 were finished around the same time the first half of Chapter 11 was published back in November. With only part 3 to finish, I thought this half would've been ready to publish within a week or two afterwards. The "final" corruption (as CrW  put it), was planned since the ending of Book 1 and I had gone through several versions but hit writers' block with many of them not feeling "right" to the point I almost gave up on the chapter. It also did not help that my job which I enjoy and passionate about  became a  pain and uninspiring to do during this whole COVID crap.

All of yalls support kept me not focused but inspired to push through and finish the chapter (was reading comments from my previous entries to help motivate me to finish).

@Collygon

I would say your prediction is more of a B. Alot of the points you made in previous comments were getting really close.

The twist was part of the story for a long while (it wasn't a twist just to have a twist), however I was originally planing to reveal it much later on. Now you have the dynamic of a  person who is walking around still timid and naive, identity issues, but unknowingly possess powers greater than Neverine, such as accidentally leveling a city.

I also think @Tirloque comment awhile back about Neverine being the cause of Jenny's hallucinations, was another reason that got me thinking of revealing it earlier but using  Neverine as a red herring for Jenny's reason of having the Darkness within her.

-Creating the modern apartment was a nice diversion. It also allowed me to do fun things such as pulling a screencap from the DnD cartoon and creating all of the DnD sourcebook covers. And of course, toss in a nod to Loverslab :)
-I used Aether Suite assests, but rebuilt the apartment so the layout is more like a real life apartment I remember living in than the Japanese inspired Aether apartments. They were too fancy and expensive looking for 2 girls to live on an income where one is a teacher and the other a PhD student :P
-There was a scene where you do see Jenny's boyfriend Corey bringing in the pizza, but I could not  find an existing mesh that I could retext as a pizza box (and I didnt have enough time).

Wow, quite the entry ?. The comic editing is perfect as usual and the modern section was great, I wished it had gone on a bit longer!

I do wonder why you grouped this all as one entry though since it does end up being a bit of an epic ?. I think each part easily could have justified its own entry or at the very least part 3 could have been an entry and 4 and 5 could have been grouped together. I have found that very long entries pretty much always get less in the way of readers and engagement than shorter ones so if that matters to you it's something to consider.

Funny you said that as I was thinking about splitting the story right at the same spot. I had finished part 5 around the same time i released the previous entry and Part 4 soon afterwards. Originally, Part 3 was not supposed to be long, then it got longer as I struggled with writing the events in part. I do remember thinking about releasing part 4 and 5 on its own after the sudden end of part 3 - -  then readers will open part4 or even called it Chapter 12  in the next entry but  become bewildered with the modern setting with DnD playing on TV and on the table - - -  making the reader think they opened a different comic :P

Eventually I had released all three parts at the same time, despite thinking or maybe even planning to release part 3 on its own. Dont know why I didnt.

It maybe because I was really unsure about part 3 for it to hold its own as its own entry, maybe I felt the events needed to be read in one sitting,---More likely it was because I was exhausted from writing Part 3 (on top of personal stress recovering from the month) that I completely forgot.

But I agree with you very much and honestly, you may be the reason I needed to hear I may go ahead and split this section into two sections.

What I will probably do is create a new entry just for Part 3 as most of the comments here tend to focus on parts 4 and 5. Then back date Part 3 a day or two prior to this entry.

Oh my, that was epic! ?

Creating such a long, detailed chapter must've taken forever.  ?

Ok, let's see if I'm getting the grasp of the whole story:

The Darkness/Corruption existed for millennia and encompasses multiple worlds. It looks like it is connected to Jenny so wherever Jenny exists - the Darkness can follow (or is drawn to her).   In Book One we learned that Jenny was the key to open the portal for Neverine but we do not know yet whether it was simply because Jenny was a virgin at the time or perhaps she has always been the chosen vessel for the Darkness and therefore has some hidden, innate abilities. ?

The Darkness devours worlds (changes them?) and Neverine wanted to escape to somewhere else where she could rule and be free from her Mother's grasp.

I've reread your previous chapters a few times and in the occasions where we see both Jenny and Darkness it almost seems like they used to be one entity and then somehow got split (sort of like a body and soul got separated). ?

The Direktor Agatha is the same woman that "helped" Jenny and Gabrielle in the very beginning by giving them clothes and directing them to the city (and also sleeping with Gabrielle). It looks like she's been working for Neverine the whole time and probably acting on her orders.  That was a very clever twist! ?

In the modern world it was nice to see a mention of Avernus and Jenny playing as a Paladin class. It mirrors nicely with Skyrim's Jenny and her Order battling a demonic invasion.

Your graphics and layout are as gorgeous and expertly made as ever. ?

The plot is now even more intriguing and I'm really looking forward to the next chapter.

Thank you for sharing such an incredible work with us! ?

Holy COW, thanks for going through such great lengths in doing a deep dive of my Dark Ascension stories. While I will not confirm/deny/expand any of what you have posted, your insight and writing were really helpful  for me to get an idea of how things were presented and understood in my story.
