Do you per chance have DCL installed and one of its quests running (for example 'Chloe')? I remember having the issue you described once before, and turns out it was because you couldnt fast travel during these quests. Just a thought...

His last sentence before the dialogue ends without a transition of gold or keys:

Save and Reload and retry (cheated myself 10000 gold in case the 5000 gold in dialogue aren't correct):

 

 

That looks like it worked, BUT...

 

... it didn't, never got the key or the option to buy furniture.

Instead the dialogue just repeats itself without any transfer of keys or gold.

 

Another odd thing:

2 Followers with NFF

First visit to Whitrun (also first major City visit)

Bought licenses for Magic and Clothes already after everything from the PC got confiscated, but not from the followers.

I had no Armor/Weapon License yet, but went to the gate to pay the toll to see if I have enough gold left after that ^^

Oddly this caused:

Mage follower got sword removed and vanilla Expert Robe, and vanilla College Boots

Thief follower got 2nd sword removed and Crossbow, but kept her armor.

The weapons where recoverable after buying the missing License but the robe and boots where gone for good.

Thief kept her main weapon sword and mage got her robes stolen.

It makes SLS sense tho ?

Also now I know why orgasm counter for debuffs hits me harder than Apropos2 => Lesbian Sex counts now too, so no sneaky Wear&Tear sex consequences evasion with pure FF action ?

I remember in one of the previous versions that in the active effects of misogyny, but I looked in the active effects and I do not have misogyny. Or is that from another mod, I am not really sure.

Are any of those SLSO keys (or STA keys for SLSO) registered on the keyboard arrow keys (or left shift)?

Just hunting a glitch that if I fine tune PC position during sexlab animation I get aggro from calmed hostiles for a short period of time (for exactly the SL stage I moved any of the actors via keyboard arrow keys).

God damnit. I think I'm going to have to try removing the vanilla fragments and add my own. Really didn't want to have to do that. 

I'll keep an eye on confiscations. But again if the item in the outfit isn't playable it won't materialize in any container.

Misogyny is from SLS. If it's not present then you might be using a custom race? Or another mod is overriding SLS's race changes and you need to build a TesEdit patch.

But it's the same vanilla robe like my PC wears on the picture or any other NPC mage. The robes are only effected by "Just" a texture replacer (it's a lie! It's BD UUNP vanilla outfit replacer, the curse of all MM1 mods ^^)

Still I had a mage, clothes license, so they shouldn't remove robes in the first place. Then again, they are SLS toll guards and bullies ?

It's a minor issue and adds some spice to the game if my MCM settings get ignored ?

The vanilla outfit replacer is "BD UUNP" from Nexus.

Everything else is collected from everywhere:

Problem / conflict with the toll evasion when returning to town :

Right after entering city, I'm forcegreeted by the toll collector :
"Hold on a second there princess." ... "One moment while I check your licenses." ... "Hold on a second there princess." ... "One moment while I check your licenses." .. . "Hold on a second there princess." ... "One moment while I check your licenses." .... (loop x times until he has finished his checks) .... "You may go. "
Sequence which can take several tens of seconds before having the "You may go" which ends the dialogue.
(it's impossible to get out of this dialog before the end, even accessing the menus, I guess it's the new mechanism to prevent the player from "cheating" the gate control).

But at the same time, a nearby guard gets excited because toll evasion, and I think tries to forcegreet the player, but can't because the player is already in a forced dialogue with the toll collector.
It seems to be interpreted as a "walk away" from their dialogue.

So once freed from the dialogue with the toll collector, the player is automatically punished for toll evasion (fine and / or bounty, rip random license, then restrained) instead of being able to respond to the guard and choose which license to lose, which objects to give for the fine , etc ...
He even seems to be punished several times, because all my licenses were removed one after the other (got several messages "Guard rip up your XXX license") instead of just one.

==> Maybe add a condition to the forcegreet of the guards on "Player is not already in dialogue" ?
Or integrate it into the forcegreet of toll collector ?

Do you use mator smash by chance? i am looking through it and it didnt carry over some changes in the housepurchase quest try disabling that if you have it.

Hmm. Yea I tried smash once. Noticed some things weren't working right and reverted back to a regular merged patch. Be interesting to know if @valcon767 uses a smash patch.

tbh this is the first time i went through tes5edit with it, i have been operating on blind faith its done everything correctly x_x i might have to use tes5edit merged patch instead ill have to check that to see if it has issues as well. if its any consolation i dont know if the mator patch was the issue but i can buy breezehome now.

i use a TES5Edit merge patch.

 

actually i use 2 = 1 for putting bikini keywords on some armors (mainly due to a massive armor merge i use), and 1 for all the normal stuff

you need a merge patch for.  when i upgraded to 6.15 beta i rebuilt it from scratch to make sure it was done right.

Why so worried, it is easily fixed if it is

 

Just go into xEdit open the Mator Smash smash file and find the conflict and manually make the needed adjustments. 

 

I have to do that with Wrye Bash a lot
